That looks like you're using the xcessive clutch pedal kit. I also had clutch drag with the celica master cylinder they include with that kit. For a while I had the pedal adjusted higher but it got on my nerves so I swapped it with a 3/4 inch master cylinder from grannas racing. That way I can keep all the pedals at the same height. The GM t56 internal slave takes more fluid volume to fully disengage compared to the Toyota external slave cylinders.

So a new master cylinder fixed it? I’ve been driving my self insane trying to fix it. I’ve adjusted it 4 times so far. Grannas master fixed it?

@@mellow2jz625 Yeah 100%. I've been running this setup on my collins kit for about 6 months with no issues. It includes a billet adapter for the firewall to adapt the bolt patterns from the Toyota slanted style to a straight up and down one. I think it gives the option of 7/10 or 3/4 tilton master. I did the 3/4 just to have some more fluid volume. The pedal is a little more stiff but definitely not bad. I think chase bays also started making a firewall adapter for the is300 so you could use any master you wanted, the tilton is a bit pricey. Might be a little cheaper if you went that route.
Also I see you're running the autosports engineering kit, I have the collins kit and was wondering how well the transmission sits with the autosports kit. The collins crossmember hangs pretty low (probably 2-3 inches lower than the frame rails) and prevents me from lowering the car very much, and puts the drivetrain at an angle so that the exhaust gaskets open up and leak, and the pinion angle of the driveshaft is off so the u joints makes noise. By the looks of it the autosports kit mounts it a bit higher in the tunnel and might avoid this? If you've got any insight on that it'd help me out a lot.

@@alexatkinson9873 sweet thanks for the insight on the clutch master, definitely going to look into it. The clutch drag sometimes locks me out of gear.
The Autosports kit is the same level as my A340 auto was. I was using the 4speed auto from the Supra before the swap. Which sits about an inch lower than the A650 (stock IS300 auto). So with the Autosports kit my trans is SLIGHTLY lower than stock but not much. With the A340 trans I could run the stock crossmember by using a nut as an extension between the crossmember and frame. I can’t see the trans or driveshaft under the car from the side.

@@mellow2jz625Yeah mine used to do the same thing locking me out if gear. I'm glad I could help, and perfect, that's exactly what I needed to know for my setup. I'll probably get that crossmember on order soon. Thanks so much for your help, if you've got any drivetrain questions you need help with moving forward feel free to pm me.

The shifter feels great but I’m kinda wondering if I should have done that too. He said he was overnighting me a replacement part and that was a week ago. So If I get it and still doesn’t fit, I’m sending the whole thing back.

@@mellow2jz625 I get he's a 1-2 man show but simple machining issues need to be squashed, I sent my shifter back when I first got it because it wouldn't pop back up after going into reverse. Had to wait a week for it to show back up

@@wingzero989 yep, like I said I really do like how it feels, but man I’m getting impatient with dealing with issue after issue. The fact that I needed a replacement part and over a week later, 2 and a half weeks after originally ordering, still don’t have it is really aggravating. That and I messaged him and he still hadn’t gotten back to me.
