Wow so far ur the only one reviewer that rides motorcycle as well. Like you, I've had 8 motorcycles (Triumph Daytona 675 and 900 Thruxton Cafe Racer, Vrod, Yamaha FFZ6 and Kawi 600, Ducati 700 Monster...and actually starter out with Ninja 250). I no longer ride as I had a near fatal accident that put a rod on my Tibia and ruptured my PCL. I still would love to ride a motor bike but made a promise to the wife. So I'm researching for e-bike that would allow me to exercise but also have a little feeling of riding a motorcycle, Thanks for the review.
Sorry to hear about your accident! Yes, since I have motorcycle experience I get to try review all the more powerful ebikes we cover... I enjoy it! You might like checking out the HyperScorpion, very motorcycle feeling and it has all the lights and blinkers and mirrors for riding safely.
I just bought one earlier in the week. Tracking says I’ll get it Tuesday. I got the 19ah upgrade. The longest trip I’ll have to take is 10 miles. I plan on riding in race 90% of the time. But I def plan on riding around in 3 when I want to explore. I’m pretty excited. When I was a kid I used to own a little peddle bike in the same style. Love the look of these bikes
Hey! He stole my shorts! I have the Camp Scrambler, and it is a beast! I put 4 bike bags and a rear rack on mine, it looks like a little motorcycle. When its time to get a new battery, I will definately get the 19 ah for the greater range. Other than that, I've had no problems and it's a blast!
I really like mine. Out of the box mostly for the fun factor most owners will swap the rear freewheels to a 11/28t and some will swap the stock 52t front for a 56t then speeds over 18-20+ you can easily sustain 28 mph and keep a reasonable cadence and as you can assist at full speed now of course the battery will thank you with more range options. I also suggest joining the juiced Facebook groups if you are like me and enjoy modding and working on your ride.
Thanks for the comment! That sounds like an excellent upgrade to make, I had a lot of fun tearing around at high speed but got tired of pedaling so fast pretty quick XD
That Revoshift grip shifter would normally appear on the right hand side of a normal bike, hence the upside-down orientation on the left side of your Scrambler there. Juiced just said screw-it and went w/it.
Your shifter is upside down because its a right side shifter mounted on the left so that the throttle can be on the right side. This is how they are all assembled.
Interesting, good to know! I've ridden other bikes that had grip twist shifters on both sides (such as a 21 speed) so it seems strange to me that they wouldn't be able to get a proper left-side shifter.
Greetings, good to see beautiful Northern Colorado, I used to live in Ft. Collins. I don't understand the riding position and desire for these style of bikes besides the look. I always like Juiced bikes torque sensor, how does this compare with just the straight cadence sensor. Thanks
Hey, you're the same height as me! Pedaling was not very comfortable but I got used to it after awhile. Definitely feels weird if you're used to riding a full-size bike.
I have a hyper scrambler from Juiced. nothing but problems, it was for sure one of the early ones from the pre sale. I am converting the entire electrical system on it, including mid drive bbshd, new lights front and rear and getting rid of the cheap star union brakes, for a way better set. Just need to get this covid lock up is over with.
Oh man! So sorry to hear about the issues. Perhaps they are fixing some of them because there’s a delay on current orders, from what I can tell at their website. We will be covering the latest HyperScrambler soon
I noticed that on the left side the outer covering was starting to kind of bunch up and show some wear after only 90 miles or so. The right side seems fine though, so maybe I was sitting on it weird! It still feels the same :D
28:06-28:13 what is that sound when he presses the brake? Is it common/normal. I have a radrunner with disc brakes and the front brake recently started making that noise when I use the brake above 10mph. It usually comes after I ride around for a while. It won’t hurt the brakes right or mess up the bike?
Do you mean the buzzing sound? I believe that is from the motor inhibitors. I don't actually know why they make the buzzing sound, perhaps someone else can chime in, but I don't think it's anything to worry about and just part of their normal operation.
I'm on a Juiced RCS but I remember seeing something about the backlight in the settings menu. Juiced has a whole video on the display too. For what it's worth my backlight is always on.

Nice review on a very interesting bike! Thanks for talking about the power and the comfort, which I had been wondering about. It really looks like so much fun. With all of that power, I might prefer a one speed. Do you think it would be nice to have one speed and no chain slap?
Honestly, I would love a one-speed setup, It would keep things a lot more simple. I found I mostly used the highest gear, and sometimes shifted down one or two... but mostly I just stayed in the high gear and used the throttle to get started every time.
They will and I got pedal strikes a couple times while riding. It's really not bad, just not as much clearance as I'm used to from riding full size bicycles (electric or otherwise)
my cadence sensor become loose the small sensor popped loose of its fitting, and rubbed on the chain. and now my bike is throttle only. It costs $200 usa, for the part and then the shipping to Canada. It's not worth doing because I will install a mid drive bbshd when covid is over. If anyone needs parts. for the scrambler I will have some available. cheaper than the dealer.

@@timscott3027 I think they just really wanted the throttle on the right side like on a regular moped/motorbike.
