Theyre unexplainably fun. Especially with friends. Like ebikes, theyre perfect for gooning around on, stunting with, go on trails, and exploring places. And they get about 100 miles a gallon.
As a motorcyclist, these things are genius. No licence needed, no insurance, no registration AND you can use the bike lane to skip traffic. Super relaxing and fun to ride E-bikes. I see them as just another form of motorcycle. This one is one of my favorite designs I've seen.
Yes! Love my Juiced Scrambler. I actually pedal it quite a bit, helps with the hills. One thing to be aware of, if you take the battery off and on frequently, is the connectors can get pushed in and it will no longer make a connection. Had to get my battery serviced for that.
Pedaling definitely helps on the hills, but the Campscrambler holds up well even on very steep inclines. I didn't get the after-market controller. Once the sensor feels the pedals rotating, the assist will kick in and in Race mode that means it will go up to 28mi/hr (which is why you shouldn't use R mode on public roads and paths...)
@Casper Gomez Dude if you guys would just pop a tab of some LSD you would understand both sides. So... Technically this version has more constant torque which doesn't necessarily mean it's more powerful than the classic gas engine minibike but.... For the energy its getting with some more battery evolution this thing could be a beast in the future. Plus man lets just get rid of the gas engines anyway we can at this point in time. If we ease into the electric vehicles and make the adjustments along the way earth would last longer.
The Scrambler was the first E-Bike I ever drove and I became instantly hooked. It made me want more. It destroyed my fear of riding a motorcycle and now I want to eventually get a motorcycle. My two cents, this is an incredible commuter but also an amazing way to break the ice for someone who eventually might want to ride a motorcycle as well! Amazing piece of technology
I wish this would have a key and some sort of back pack to carry the battery. And you make a good point that there is no rear suspension but that is the trade off with making the rear less complicated when changing a rear flat tire.
I was foolish enough to own a rigid H-D about 40yrs ago and got rid of it soon after purchase for a loss.Looked and ran great but really sucked. My rear suspension was less air in the tire which helped add other problems but was just enough on a long haul to not piss blood. I'm considering getting one of these because of my advanced age and how is it not fun being able to ride anywhere you want.I'll worry about the cops after I get all the stuff to max it out.I'm almost certain 28mph isn't gonna break my kidneys and much safer to take back and forth to the pub. ;(
I got a swagcycle pro last year and thought about using it to drive thru there to work from the east side, but it only gives me about 10 miles and its 12 miles each way for me. I might look into this, if I ever have to return to the office. It looks a lot more comfortable than the one I have.
It is amazing. I don’t have this brand but I have one and the juiced brand lineup is generally more powerful and has better specs than the brand I have (rad power bikes) and it’s more expensive, but if I’m going to get another ebike, I’m seriously considering the juiced hyperscorpion.
Very Cool! Thanks for sharing. I'm considering soon to purchase $899.00 Lectric XP Fat Tire ebike. If unlocked it'll go around 28 mph and unlocked around 20 mph.
For a couple hundred bucks more you could have gotten the Juiced Scorpion which has front and rear suspension and a few other really cool and useful features.
"It's super bumpy" Well yeah you're doing 28 on a bike with no rear shocks. This is why I built mine around a frame with both front & rear shocks. All the extra weight from the motor and batteries will put stresses on the rims and tires they're not designed to take if you don't give them some additional cushioning to compensate. Juiced designed the bike around this to some extent, but assume speeds of ~20. I wonder how well it'll hold up routinely doinng ~28 over bumps.
Eh you get used to it anyway. I got a mini bike with a 10hp engine that'll do 50mph and has no suspension at all. Just gotta learn to hover a bit on the bumpy sections. Also most bikes can take about 400lbs on them because they have to be made to support even huge people.
Is it just me or anyone with this type of ebike, the scrambler ebike doesn't actually ever pedal? Both cuz the style of it is conducive to just chilling but also I read it's not comfortable to actually pedal with this type of bike

Yikes. $1700 for barely 1 horsepower (750 watts), 28 mph top speed, no rear suspension, and a chassis that looks like it rolled out of the late 1940's - basically a bicycle with an extra pair of legs in the form of a tiny hub motor. Most mopeds have at least 3 hp. No pedals, >10 hp and >30 mph and you have a what's called a light motorcycle, by legal definition. Consumers can do a lot better for that price. The Super 73's are cool bikes, but I got the Camp Scrambler because seat height is 35 vs 31 on the 73. I like to pedal and need that extension. Plus it was on sale for 1500. If you're either short or don't plan on pedaling, the 73 would be cool to have.
Less battery life too the new super 73 has 2000 watt motor in unlocked mode. The battery is only close 1000 watt per hour so if you use the 73 and full throttle it will die out in under 30 min thats if you use it full throttle for that duration
you could’ve bought a dual suspension mountain bike for $500 and a ebike kit from ali express for $500 and get more customizable options like the type of lcd display etc

*how much the fuckin price dude*
you have a type in your title
6:33 legs
28 not that fast if you go 48 or 50 that is fast. I been had 30 mph ebike kit is okay and 48 wow fast and I'm waiting for buy new ebike kit for 72 ebike kit
after seeing the super73 r and rx this just seems so boring and last year.
The Super 73's are cool bikes, but I got the Camp Scrambler because seat height is 35 vs 31 on the 73. I like to pedal and need that extension. Plus it was on sale for 1500. If you're either short or don't plan on pedaling, the 73 would be cool to have.
Super73 is significantly more expensive.
Less battery life too the new super 73 has 2000 watt motor in unlocked mode. The battery is only close 1000 watt per hour so if you use the 73 and full throttle it will die out in under 30 min thats if you use it full throttle for that duration
These "COVID_TIMES???!!!" Whaaaaaat???!!!
This is just like any other electric bike that has existed for many, many years. What's so special about this?
Are they paying you to advertise this?
6:25 Complaining about children not giving you the right of way while you're on a motorcycle... on a bike path.
you could’ve bought a dual suspension mountain bike for $500 and a ebike kit from ali express for $500 and get more customizable options like the type of lcd display etc
