I think you have to have your phone for that. From what others are saying there is a new firmware update that my bike didn't have, but I'm not sure what functionality it adds.
Simple answer is no. The bike resets to default mode 1 or 2 depending on whether EU or USA spec, each time it is turned off. You then need a phone (with Internet connection) to change to modes 2, 3 or 4. The road legal mode 1 struggles with hills, and you will need all the gears (10 speed now available). Mode3 takes hill's easily, if you want to go at speed run up necessary. Mode 4 built more for speed on the flat. All depends on your own effort.

The height of the bike is short also and the bike doesn’t have gears. And I don’t understand why they would have two different size tires on that bike. As a tall rider I did like the Juiced HyperScorpion much better for fit, especially with the tall seat option and 8 speed cassette. I haven't gotten a chance to try the Ariel Rider bikes but I want to! A couple people have told me that if you change the mode on the Super73 and then hit "Save" in the app it will stay that way even when turning the bike off and on, but I didn't get to test that. I agree it would be nice to be able to change it from the display, I prefer to leave my phone at home when I'm riding. I do like the small display though, minimalist and out of the way.. that's just a personal preference thing though :)
Yes, technically you could... but so what? I understand the cost similarity, but motorcycles are very different. They require a special license that costs time and money to get, additional training, insurance, more expensive riding gear, and you can only ride it in the street. And of course, they require gas to operate, the cost of repairs and maintenance is higher... and so on. Depending on what you want to use it for a motorcycle might make more sense. For a lot of people, an ebike is going to be way more practical, enjoyable, and affordable in the long run. And you get exercise!

The height of the bike is short also and the bike doesn’t have gears. And I don’t understand why they would have two different size tires on that bike. Sorry I’ll stick with Juiced Bikes or Ariel Rider Bikes.
@@TysonRoehrkasse I just actually appreciate someone tall doing a review.
would love to see a Ariel Rider Grizzly review!
Sur Ron is nice too
you could literally buy a motorcycle with that money
A beat to shit used one maybe.
@@TysonRoehrkasse i live in NH so safety equipment is optional lol, but i mean ya i have a motorized bike so i’m really not one to talk i’ve already dropped like 600 into it 😹
@@scotthansford3657 I hear ya, I have a motorcycle too and whenever I have the option that's what I ride everywhere. Expensive but totally worth it :D
@@TysonRoehrkasse such a fun hobby my friend, can’t wait to get a real bike tho so i can just ride for miles upon miles without worrying about having a screw loose or something lol!
@24:18 Let's go camping LOL
Badass bike!
It's the ideal children's cross country electric motorcycle. The question simply is if you want to be found on one as an adult.
Hell yeah
I’m in my 40s and love my Cafe style ebike
Front wheel burnouts at 20mph
These aren’t your “mopeds are like fat girls” that you’re thinking of Lol
Review Sondors Madmods.
In Australia they r charged us $7200 😭😂
Hey
im in Colorado as well I’m buying me one!! Lets kick it ol
A group ride would be sweet!
I want one ...
It looks like a motor cross dirt bike. Very nice.
Only to a blind person
Left side is most likely to flip the display over. It will be upside down if you don't.
Cool 😎 bike but would buy for a second ebike not first only bike depending.
hmm costs in holland 4200 the 2s is 3400 dang nabbit
Too heavy to be a useful ebike. The shocks seem nice.
It’s a great bike I love mine.
Maybe you’re just not strong enough
Nice bike but imagine paying for a bike half this price and get better performance..the revv 1 seems a whole lot more attractive in my opinion..
Nice bike.... a bit much for urban riders, I think. Up the battery capacity and do away with the need to pedal.....then it probably does not legally qualify as a "bike" at that point and sales may suffer.
You Know ..... why not tell these electric bike creators to add a charging mechanism or something when u peddal just like those old lights you crank up to chArge and light up
Some bikes have this, they will regenerate power if you pedal past the assist level, or when coasting. In my experience it works OK but you have to put in significantly more effort. Here is one that I reviewed with the feature: electricbikereview.com/rattan/fat-bear-plus/
So many more better bikes for half the cost
25:44 guy on road bike goes past like he is standing still. And e-bikes get a bad rap for riding too fast on public trails
Nice ebike ❤
Traffic sound is so annoying!
I hear you, I picked a bad spot to film in. I was in a bit of a rush since the sun was starting to set and hoped the traffic wouldn't be too bad... now I know for next time!
If this bike needs your smart phone to be able to change the settings, it's automatically out for me. That's ridiculous
Go buy a super 73 right now!....
Oh wait, you can't get one until riding season is over? Awesomeness. I just canceled my order and bought something better. Why tf are they still advertising everywhere if you can't get one for a half year?
Well, presumably people buy it for more than just the riding season this year :)
Looks are sure there, but with no torque it can barley go up even small hills and a lot of maintenance issues. This bike is not work the 4k it’s going for now.
Style over substance all the way, not a fully functioning bike. A lot of money for a toy. Looks nice though
How is it not fully functioning?
@@BrandoemotoDon't get me wrong, it's a lovely fun toy, but spending any amount of time on that saddle looks like a painful experience and pedaling it home if you ran out of juice would be hell given the weight/lack of gears..
i'm not gay but this guy is hot
You gay alright
no way the Karens in my town are going to call that a bicycle..
I'd be chased out of town with pitchforks,
but.. outside of town..
not what I need NOW... but...
Good video
What's with the nerdy reviewers and the unnecessary comments on this channel?
Wicked bike though!
too much road ambiance, keep her in parks while off the bike
Eh…may as well buy the RCR Onyx at that price.
Future73 bike review
looks ok, something your uncle would ride lol
One step away from an electric motorcycle. 30mph is too fast for those paths. If you hit one of the kids coming towards you it could be nasty. Better keep it on the road.
I hope to God I don't need a stupid App. to operated this bike !
5k euro here now :O
Not worth buy a grom at that price
True, base Grom price is $4k I think? They are very different though, you can take the RX many places that you wouldn't be able to bring the Grom.
It's more a mopped...
Love it! I just posted up that 200 mile RX review I told you about. Feel free to check it out!
