The C'Tan didn't actually tell the Necrons what their form of immortality would entail. They essentially tricked the Necrons into selling their souls, then enslaved the now-soulless species. That's why the Silent King rebelled, to free his people and to atone for accidentally damning them. Also, not all of the Necrons kept their intelligence. Most are basically mindless, with only a small-ish percentage of them keeping their personalities and intelligence, forming the leadership cadre of the Necrons. In the present day of the setting, a number of Necron Lords have been searching for a way to create or steal souls to restore what was stolen from them. Mostly this involves pretty horrific experimentation on organic species like humans or Eldar, and they haven't really made much progress.

It is not because Bricky explains the lore "well" in the sense of being "accurate" and sometimes he's just plain wrong. But it is really easy to understand, and really entretaining. So yeah his videos are the best entry point for the lore, you can eventually realize the errors if you want to delve deeper, but honestly the essence is there.
@@Rulytasho Even for all the things that he gets wrong, he manages to explain them in a way that shows how he could arrive there with a reasonable amount of knowledge across every group and faction. Honestly, the only thing that I think he did wrong here was saying that Slaanesh's birth kicked off the Age of Strife, when the energies forming that god still raging through the Warp were the main problem - and quickly dissipated immediately after her/his/its birth. Honestly, he probably knows that he has some stuff wrong before releasing the video, and just explains it in a way that he thinks will be easier for people taking their first steps into the lore. Honestly, it's a toss up between Bricky, Majorkill and Pancreas for easy-entry lore with comedy to hold in the audience. Bricky is ultimately the most "react-friendly" of the three for 40k in my opinion, mainly because Pancreas mostly focuses on Fantasy and Majorkill is definitely not suitable for general audiences. Pancreas has his own niche in WH Fantasy and doesn't do 40k often, but certainly can tell a story for more character-specific lore (while Eldar simping the entire time). Majorkill makes great content for tier-list type lore, along with being great at a shorter format for more niche groups and characters. I personally have no issue with Majorkill's implementation of humor in his videos, because I go in with the understanding that we're not supposed to take it too seriously, since a lot of comparisons in his videos are made from his opinion after reading - rather than objective fact.
@@leogomez8373 it's important to keep in mind that they're going mostly off wikis, and will do stuff like say imperial navy gun batteries are reloaded by hand, or attribute impressions of a single character to the opinion of an entire chapter. Putting on top he puts an entonation in his voice that makes his videos easy to listen, and entretaining. I don’t know how known he is in the community, but I personally think his videos are very digestable once you got a taste of the lore from Bricky.
To summarize the Emperors goals after all these years... 1. He wanted to immunize Humanity to the influence of the Warp and Chaos somehow. 2. He wanted us to have full control of the Webway to not be dependent on warp based travel yet maintain a galactic civilization. 3. It's likely he wanted all humanity to one day be super psyker perpetuals like him after the Space Marines domesticated the galaxy and retired from war to rule in government. 4. He openly admits many times to seeing the possible futures, but not all of them or the probability of each. He only has a wide view of what could happen.

And then there's the Orks, just vibing because war IS their vibe, building weapons that function only because they *look like* weapons and they damn well should.
That's fanon, not lore canon. Ork's build ridiculous machinery because: 1) they are a genetically engineered race, and the Mekboyz are an emergent phenomenon when a group of Orks grows to a certain level. Your average Ork is dumb as a bag of dead rats, but Mekboyz have mad engineering skills literally built into their genes. 2) The Imperium may say "this thing shouldn't work!", but that's mostly because they have forgotten so many basics of engineering and some of them simply can't grok that a complex machine will work without prayer and oils. That said, the Ork's collective psychic aura *is* a thing, but it's more the case of affecting probability of things going right vs wrong. Not a case of "I pick up stick and say BANG"
@raerth isn't it sad that there has to be a war between mainstream shitty fanon and actual serious lore? Warhammers worst enemy is grimderp comedy goofiness
@@raerth Its not fanon. It is a fact that orc's tech doesnt work at all if they are not around. And there is no logical explanation to it. While yes fans to like to blow this up beyond any reason. There is a reason why people panicking as they realise that they are in one room with a Warhammer fan and a projector he can put his 400 slide PowerPoint on. We can talk about it for hours and hours because there is so much to talk about
I fully back Bricky's recommendation of the Ciaphas Cain stories. If you don't have time to read them, I recommend listening to the audiobooks, as the voice acting in them is spot on.
Oh dude there is so much 40k lore you'll be reacting to videos like this till late next year. It's so cool to watch someone get a crash course in the 40k lore for the first time as an adult. I learned about it as a kid in the 1990s and so I take for granted so much of the premise that underlies the 40k universe. This was a fun video.
I've been gradually working my way through the Warhammer 40k Verse for almost 2 years now and I still feel like I've only just scratched the surface. As a lore Junky, the Warhammer 40k setting is an absolute treat and I love seeing other people take the deep dive as well!
Yes! So happy you're watching these I recommend watching his video on the Space Marine Legions next, as it's a bit newer than his "40k Factions Explained" series. Although those videos do still hold up well enough also, so I recommend watching that series too afterwards.
DAMN, at the rate this is going 40k is going to be huge in the next few years, pretty nice for the older fans to get some fresh blood! (also I just remembered I watched some of your stuff before, you are the playstation guy watching Halo stuff and you just said that in the video haha)
29:23 Hate to break it to you, Deebee, but the more they try to explain about who the Emperor is, where he came from, what he wants, how he thinks and feels, and the actions he takes, the more contradictory, illogical, and bizarre he becomes. The gist of Big E is that he's basically the supernatural manifestation of the full potential of Humanity; the Emperor personifies our greatest ambitions and achievements while also illuminating the depths of our flaws. Aside from a few guiding principles, the Emperor's personality is wildly different depending on what he is doing and who he is speaking to (especially when it comes to interacting with his Primarchs). That's not even getting into the weird ways his psyker powers manifest (being a staunch atheist yet people who worship him gain magic powers, being a Perpetual who can't die yet needing to be fed souls to keep him on the Golden Throne, having his soul potentially being split up into multiple manifestations in the Warp after his fall, etc.). All you need to know is Big E is weird, mysterious, wanted to kill everything in the galaxy that wasn't Humanity, really only trusted one guy in his entire life, hated religion but ultimately became an idol of worship because people will believe what they want to believe, and almost everything bad that has happened with Humanity either directly or indirectly happened because he insisted that he knew better than anyone else and thought he could beat Chaos by keeping its existence hidden from everyone.
@@Meshifuari I mean that's a matter of semantics, considering he doesn't even consider them his "sons" most of the time. To be a bad father, first you have to be a father.
The problem is a combination of having too many authors writing him (all differently) and one of the most prolific to the assignment does _not_ like the Emperor at all. Because of the lack of any kind of editorial control and central consistent character to him. All the primarchs suffer from the same to one degree or another. (Purterabo is one of the worst examples.) While I have no personal beef with ADB, assigning him to write the Emperor was a critical mistake.

When an adjective is created to describe how shit your universe is, you know it's very special. The adjective is "Grimdark". 25:51 Well, technically all chaos gods have always existed even if we have a known date in the physical plane for their birth. But that's just the warp being weird. Very eldritch.
Welcome brother to the grim dark! After 20 years of living and loving warhammer i am always invigorated and am brought pure joy when someone finds it and is enveloped by it. I am genuinely smiling and laughing and yelling in joy watching you dive right in.
Good luck, Deebee! The 40K IP is the deepest and most expansive lore ever created. It's bigger than Star Wars, Star Trek, Lord of the Rings, you name it.
The Realm of Chaos is just one small part of the Warp. There is also the Webway and many other parts of the Warp that isn't fully explored but we just pass through to move through the galaxy faster than the speed of light. Its like a gateway jump. I would highly recommend reading "The Horus Heresy." Excellent book series that has like 64 books (including "The Siege of Terra) in it.
Concerning the books Bricky mentions, I picked up the first Ciaphas Cain omnibus, "Hero of the Imperium", just last week and I'm thoroughly enjoying it! 10/10 would recommend
Yeah, the only faction that are not just tolerant but actively benevolent towards other races. Funny how often they're left out of the picture (or just painted as violent colonisers when the lore specifically states they choose diplomacy whenever possible and will often have peaceful alliances with factions outside of their empire).
Told you it would be the start of a new obsession 😂 And yes, there is more lore than you can handle. Dont overload yourself my dude. Those books are worth picking up though, you'll have to let me know if you do!
It's not so much that the warp became overpopulated, the warp is infinite, it's that the warp is a magnified reflection of the materium. The War in Heaven turned real space into hell, and through the psychic trauma that caused in the materium, the warp became corrupted.
The prominent theory on the emperor is actually that at the beginning of humanity's history, we had psykers who acted as sages and guides for the rest of the planet, but that the turbulence in the warp following the War in Heaven made it so they kept getting eaten by demons whenever they tried to reincarnate after death. They met up and ultimately decided the only course of action was to die all at once, overwhelming the chaos demons with a charge of 10,000 souls all flying through the warp at once, only to be reborn as a single, undying man to protect and guide humanity.
15:00 He's abridging the War in Heaven but basically the cliffnotes are the Necrons where an advanced civilization with genetic cancer. The Old Ones are a super advanced alien civilization to the point where their tech will seem like magic even by dark age of technology human standards. The Necrons found the C'Tan who (not sure if this was retconned) the Necrons gave metal bodies and the C'Tan in turn offered immortality. The trap was they didn't tell that immortality involved sucking their souls out of their bodies. So the Necrons won and when the C'Tan where busy fighting each other the Necrons shattered their bodies and turned them into batteries. Also, he didn't do the best job with the Warp which I don't blame him all of this stuff is a topic in and of itself. Basically, it's a realm that feeds on emotions and ideals. So, when you slaughter quintillions of people in war, all that fear, hatred, and death gets shot into the warp and the god of war and the god of death that feeds off stuff like that get pretty powerful. Like thing of it like our world. Some parts are doing pretty bad, some parts not so much so overall the emotional scale of the world might be even steven but if you have WW2, it's going to be overwhelmingly negative. Upscale that population size to the entire Milky Way galaxy and that's why the Warp is all messed up. That's also what daemons are in 40k. They are manifestations of either emotion or events of extreme emotional significance. Like that saying, "kill them all let god sort them out" that came from the massacre at Béziers on 22 July 1209 (historical context was there where some odd 300 Cathars amongst 20,000 Catholics. They wanted to kill the Cathars so they just murdered everyone with the logic God will know his own and let them into Heaven) spoken by the commander. There was a very powerful daemon created by just the horror and unfairness of that event in 40k.
One of the mini version of emperor (legion commander/primarch) has the legion of ultramarines that you played in game. The primarch's name is called roboute guilliman And also the name of the mother of primarchs is erda (2nd most powerful psyker of humanity), she was the one who scattered the primarchs across the galaxy
Quick injection: The only issue was the fascist part. Its not, its an Imperium. A monarchy among other things. He is the Emperor. Other than that its a good video.

Don't forget the "every space marine legion in a nutshell" video. That one's probably my favorite.
The C'Tan left out the soul nom noming. They had no idea
It is possible that Silent King know somewhat about ctan plans
@@mattresplay4928 it's made abundantly clear he didn't realize what the price was until it was too late by the 5th edition codex...so no, it is not possible
darn ambush clauses
@@rampantsarcasm2220 Retcons are always a possibility ... unfortunately
@@Ower8x sure but this hasn't been retconned so ig I'm not sure what your point is
It is not because Bricky explains the lore "well" in the sense of being "accurate" and sometimes he's just plain wrong.
But it is really easy to understand, and really entretaining.
So yeah his videos are the best entry point for the lore, you can eventually realize the errors if you want to delve deeper, but honestly the essence is there.
Yup, he's a pretty good storyteller
@@leogomez8373 yeah some of it is just outdated too like Big E killing horus' soul. not anymore
@@leogomez8373 it's important to keep in mind that they're going mostly off wikis, and will do stuff like say imperial navy gun batteries are reloaded by hand, or attribute impressions of a single character to the opinion of an entire chapter.
So when you read things like the farsight book and realise that the Scar Lords Spacemarines having their crew reload guns manually is strange even for the imperium, don't feel too disillusioned with your fave loretuber XD
@@leogomez8373 what about WesHammer? Even though he doesn’t go overboard with the funny gags, he does have a cheeky comment of the thing he's narrating, he also puts a lot of quotes from books to back up his videos, and he's very transparent in his videos, clarifying when he's using fist hand information, which is directly from the books, or second hand, such as the wikis or forums.
He only has a wide view of what could happen.
whats crazy with that video is it feels so overwhelming yet he left out soo much stuff lol. Thats why this ip is soo good if you want to get stuck into something, there is almost an endless amount of content/ books ext to read.
LOL ! Loved your reaction ! :) And what you said at the end about the fans of Warhammer 40K being the only fans NOT wanting to be thrown into their favourite fictional setting is so acurate that it has been a meme on the internet for some times now ! It is definitely a defining aspect of this universe ;)
Remember you effectively catching up on like 40 years of lore building.. yes there is a lot of it😄
One could say... 40k years of lore
And the first twenty were straight up theft of IP…
You mean 40,000 years😂❤
Welcome to the rabbit hole
One of us One of us One of us
ONE OF US, ONE OF US, ONE OF US
@@gallo1160 ONE OF US
One of us, one of us
It more like rift into the warp. Also, one of us.
And then there's the Orks, just vibing because war IS their vibe, building weapons that function only because they *look like* weapons and they damn well should.
That's fanon, not lore canon. Ork's build ridiculous machinery because:
1) they are a genetically engineered race, and the Mekboyz are an emergent phenomenon when a group of Orks grows to a certain level.
Because no matter how orcs want to believe, a simple screw wont become a nuclear bomb. But their collective thought does affect and changes material things in a way no one can understand. Their powers work more akin to a reality grease(lube?) than a full blown reality warp. If something look like it can work, even if it isnt, in orc hands it will.
@@raerth I respectfully beg to differ. The Ork "It looks like it could work..." thing was printed black on white in the second edition Ork codex
@@marioguidotomasone1265 Right and human machines only work because of all the praying and rituals. That's what human believe too. It's the same thing, it's belief not reality.
Luetin09 also does fantastic targeted, more granular 40k lore deep dives once you've gotten used to the overall setting.
Agreed
Yeah, Luetin is the GOAT
@primarch316 agreed
@primarch316 I really wouldn't recommend Majorkill, Bricky sure, but Majorkill would just make him even more confused with cringe jokes and SPERG-tier explanation.
Bricky is amazing. He really loves this lore. He had a podcast where he describes one of the events of the book, it was where a Primarch is ressurected and a big battle happens. I lovled the way he described it in his own words, I could just see it all happening.
There is a reason why people panicking as they realise that they are in one room with a Warhammer fan and a projector he can put his 400 slide PowerPoint on. We can talk about it for hours and hours because there is so much to talk about
Bricky is such a Legend. Although he does make some small mistakes and errors but overall pretty great.
I fully back Bricky's recommendation of the Ciaphas Cain stories. If you don't have time to read them, I recommend listening to the audiobooks, as the voice acting in them is spot on.
Then there's also the Eisenhorn books, and infinite and the divine.
There is one thing Bricky got wrong: the birth of slaanesh is what calmed the warp and allowed the great crusade to start.
There's more than one thing Bricky got wrong, but yes, this is one of them
The God-Emperor welcomes you into His light.
And if thats not your vibe, Slaanesh welcomes you into their [CENSORED BY ORDER IF THE ORDO HERETICUS]
What is your duty? - To serve the Emperor Will!
What is His Will? - That we Fight and Die!
What is death? - It is Our Duty!
You should do Bricky's Every Warhammer 40k Faction Explained Pt 1 and 2, and also Every Space Marine Chapter Explained
10:00 if you want the best idea of what K'tan is, imagine Doctor Manhattan from Watchman, at the peak of his powers.
Definitely watch Bricky's faction videos, it will fill in the gaps even more.
Oh dude there is so much 40k lore you'll be reacting to videos like this till late next year.
ALSO there is a channel who covers the lore of specific characters with beautifully voice acted scenes from the books called TheAmberKing.
I highly recommend Amber King's lore videos, that shit can make you cry with how tragic the story of some traitor Primarchs are, and even some loyal ones.
@30:28 The Thunder Warriors were considered too unstable for the Great Crusade and so they were killed off.
@@kiwipile they also had their personalities, based on the life beyond genetic improvements and were more human-like, having human concerns and ideas. The Emperor did not want them to be so emotional and thinking, then commanded to betray and destroy them on Ararat. Even Valdor was deeply sad about this betrayal, he loved Thunder Warrior and their Primarch
bro you just got a small taste of the rabbit hole. This universe goes so so soooooooooo much deeper
You gotta read some of the Ork lore. Theres an Ork Warboss that accidentally went into the warp, came back out, and found his past self, only to kill him just so he can hae two of his favorite gun
Orks: the only faction winning in 40k. (Because the galaxy as it is? Is exactly what they want. An eternity of carnage and slaughter and the laughter of thirsting gods.)
There's a good video of Trayzin giving a history of the setting. The Voice Actor makes it sound kind of like David Attenborough talking.
"This hell is not like the hell you an I know, it's more of an afterlife."
Now I have to know what Bricky thinks hell is supposed to be.
I knew Warhammer lore was crazy deep, but… this is bat crap crazy!!! What a ridiculous rabbit hole… 😳
I mean, 40 years worth of lore man....even One Piece can't beat that yet
And this is just scratching the surface of the lore.
It wasn't the population that really caused the Warp to be angry, it was the fact that such emotions were felt.
Now you know about the Imperium, time to learn about Tyranid first contact
I love this new meta of streamers reacting to 40k Lore. It never gets old.
I started playing the 40k world back in the late 80’s/early 90’s, with bloodbowl and adeptus titanicus.. I later started on 40k proper. I always played as eldar or orks. Orks are sooo much fun. And remember, Blood for the blood god!
Maaaaaaaan I totally forgot this guy even existed I remember watching him play halo CE for the first time!
-Old Ones are like Xelnaga in StarCraft--powerful beings that like to cultivate life and watch them grow
-The deal between Necrontyr and C'tan was like a deal with the devil: you get what you wished for, immortality (but I didn't say how tho)
-The Silent King at the time didn't know about C'tan's trickery and they desperately needed that because their life span is around 20-25 years while having space cancer due to their sun's radiation
- "Where's the Emperor this whole time?" He's everywhere and nowhere, trying to influence humanity in his own way. Sometimes he was a guy that built a giant ship; sometimes he was a guy with a big J in his name; an influencer, a doctor, a scientist, a hobo, etc.
31:01 There was another immortal, woman called Erda who was used by Emperor as donor and mother for Primarchs. And them basically just closed in Palace.
I recommend The Infinite and the Divine. And is my first WH40K book. It follows two powerful Necron lords, and basically turns into a grim comedy of two old dudes who hate each other trying to piss each other off.
7:05 me knowing there's like 300-1,000 books that are 300-400 pages long each and stuff is still being written to this very day: oh Dee, even we don't know the true depths of how far this stuff goes. Don't get me wrong we know more than you, but even that may not be much compared to whatever amount will eventually be there in full.
One might say that the indomitable human spirit is also the theme of W40K, fighting against all ods.
Another lost soul joins the Warhammer 40k community. We welcome you brother.
Congratulations on completing part 1 of Bricky’s Essential Warhammer Tutorials!
I hope you get around to watching his other two:
-Every Faction Explained
-Every Space Marine Chapter Explained
It's so cool to watch someone get a crash course in the 40k lore for the first time as an adult. I learned about it as a kid in the 1990s and so I take for granted so much of the premise that underlies the 40k universe. This was a fun video.
I've been gradually working my way through the Warhammer 40k Verse for almost 2 years now and I still feel like I've only just scratched the surface. As a lore Junky, the Warhammer 40k setting is an absolute treat and I love seeing other people take the deep dive as well!
Yes! So happy you're watching these
I recommend watching his video on the Space Marine Legions next, as it's a bit newer than his "40k Factions Explained" series. Although those videos do still hold up well enough also, so I recommend watching that series too afterwards.
DAMN, at the rate this is going 40k is going to be huge in the next few years, pretty nice for the older fans to get some fresh blood!
(also I just remembered I watched some of your stuff before, you are the playstation guy watching Halo stuff and you just said that in the video haha)
the deepest of rabbit holes haha enjoy the fall
The necrons weren’t being greedy per say they just didn’t want to keep dying to super cancer at 30
29:23 Hate to break it to you, Deebee, but the more they try to explain about who the Emperor is, where he came from, what he wants, how he thinks and feels, and the actions he takes, the more contradictory, illogical, and bizarre he becomes.
And that he is... really, really bad dad.
Yeah, the video does what most hardcore imperium fans tend to do - kinda gloss over the fact that even while the emperor was alive humanity was still a bunch of xenophobic fascists.
@@mrspiderhead8794 A lot of people that are fans of Imperium tend to forget one thing...
Emperor never wanted what was the best for the humanity... He wanted what he thought was the best for them...
And with plenty of examples of his cruel... behavior and point of views... It was not the nicest road to take.
Nearly 40 years of lore packed into video form. Love the reactions of newcomers, keep it up.
I love new people taking their first steps into 40k... the dropping jars when genocide is just a casual afterthought are priceless
When it comes to the ctan’s and necrons it’s essentially your classic monkeys paw scenario due to their lust for power and greed with a slight twist being the wish granters end up getting destroyed.
It’s sweet to see you getting into this the same time I am, this is perfectly filling my Halo lore draught, crazy it took me this long!
Outstanding video so glad you done the bricky video, the every Warhammer faction is a MUST, it is an incredible video that will keep you hooked to 40k for life 👍🏻
great reaction man, as a long time 40k fan i really hope you do more reaction videos to lore videos, it's such an impressive and large badass universe. :)
That's a very deep rabbit hole you started going down. Love it!
I highly recommend getting the audiobook of The Infinite and The Divine, the narrator for it is amazing and adds a lot more character to it than words alone could.
Bricky is so good at giving you the general gist of things, but he gets so much wrong too. You should watch Luetin09 and Baldermort.
Whether it's Zelda, Metroid or WH40K, I love watching you get into these things I've loved for a long time.
When an adjective is created to describe how shit your universe is, you know it's very special.
The adjective is "Grimdark".
Bricky is good in showing a general overview of 40K for people who want to get into the setting. If you want some more general topics, I recommend Isyander and Koda. They're very much beginner-friendly, and if you're also into some sci fi-related universes, they're also a good choice too.
PancreasNoWork and Weshammer I find to be THE best TH-camrs when it comes to first time lore dives
@@FrostbiteDigital They’re much better when you already have sufficient knowledge of 40K.
I find Weshammer on the same echelon as Majorkill. Pancreas also covers Warhammer Fantasy, which may confuse people who only want to get into 40K.
Lysander and Koda are so good at Warhammer 40k (well more Lysander than Koda)
@@TheHeroBleeder Why do I keep seeing people use uppercase "I" as lowercase "l"?
I'm using a proper noun, therefore the first letter is on caps.
The reason it's so crazy is because in the tabletop-game, every faction has to be capable of fighting and winning against every other faction including their own. There is no ""Good Guys Win"-rule
I'm so happy SM2 has created such a interest in the lore of 40k.
14:35 no the C'Tan tricked the necrontyr and took their souls in the process in which the necrontyr became the Necrons.
Recommend you watching bricky's other video that explains all the factions next
Also I’d suggest Baldimort and his guide on the introductions to stuff like Big E, The primarchs, the legions and the factions.
When you get the time try to do the same thing for "Age of Sigmar", like 40K but different armies and lore
I'm glad you enjoyed bricky's Warhammer timeline video. I can't wait for your reactions to every faction explained part1 and 2 and his Every Space marine legion in a nutshell video and when your done check out Lysander and Koda's Warhammer podcast episodes in your own time because they're really good.
25:51 Well, technically all chaos gods have always existed even if we have a known date in the physical plane for their birth. But that's just the warp being weird. Very eldritch.
There's more too. After all, there are 8 points on the star of chaos, not 4.
Bricky also has a video, explaining each of the primarchs and their respectful legions
Welcome brother to the grim dark! After 20 years of living and loving warhammer i am always invigorated and am brought pure joy when someone finds it and is enveloped by it. I am genuinely smiling and laughing and yelling in joy watching you dive right in.
All pretty accurate too. Good enough for noobs. 40k lore is ridiculously huge and deep.
Good luck, Deebee! The 40K IP is the deepest and most expansive lore ever created. It's bigger than Star Wars, Star Trek, Lord of the Rings, you name it.
Bricky does such a good job of introducing this setting.
Helsreach. It's all you need. It's simple, paired down and shows the Black Templars and the Sisters of Battle.
His video on the legions is what i would watch next to give more context for the game.
Concerning the books Bricky mentions, I picked up the first Ciaphas Cain omnibus, "Hero of the Imperium", just last week and I'm thoroughly enjoying it! 10/10 would recommend
Forgot to mention the T'au. They actually pretty chill.
Yeah, the only faction that are not just tolerant but actively benevolent towards other races. Funny how often they're left out of the picture (or just painted as violent colonisers when the lore specifically states they choose diplomacy whenever possible and will often have peaceful alliances with factions outside of their empire).
Why did the Nekrontyr trust a guy named Mephet'ran the Deceiver?
Interesting how everyone watches bricky tiktok style 40k lore not Lutien David Attenborough style 40k lore
Luetin is the best explainer of 40k law, his videos are really good for explaining everything in deep detail
Told you it would be the start of a new obsession 😂
And yes, there is more lore than you can handle. Dont overload yourself my dude. Those books are worth picking up though, you'll have to let me know if you do!
5:01 oh this is just the shallowest of shallow waters my friend! Haha great reaction
Specifically the warp is a plane of energy that reacts to EMOTION… I swear to fuck bricks leaves out more than he says….
If you want a comedic way to learn the broad strokes, "If The Emperor Had A Text To Speech Device" is highly recommended
You've defo got to do his all factions explained videos, they are fantastic, probably even better than the timeline one.
Be Warned, DeeBee... Once you begin this path there's no turning back.
One of the mini version of emperor (legion commander/primarch) has the legion of
ultramarines that you played in game. The primarch's name is called roboute guilliman
And also the name of the mother of primarchs is erda (2nd most powerful psyker of humanity), she was the one who scattered the primarchs across the galaxy
Quick injection: The only issue was the fascist part. Its not, its an Imperium. A monarchy among other things. He is the Emperor. Other than that its a good video.
