Love your reactions to Spiritbox. Part 3 is my favorite of the Liquid Metal parts, but they're all great. Granted, the third part has 2 songs that aren't as popular as the other 2 parts but that's probably why I like it so much. Note that the last song in part 3 is The Mara Effect part 3... and that you can find The Mara Effect parts 1, 2, and 3 in one pro-shot live video that I think is also amazing (that video has a different drummer in it who was there for a very brief period).
If I recorded my first reaction to watching this it would have looked like yours. Hope you get to see them live some day. Courtney always sounds great.
Nice reaction! I forgot about the Liquid Metal songs; it was nice to check those out again. You really need to react to The Mara Effect (Live at Silverside Sound). I think you'll really like it if you liked belcarra.
Ya man, Courtney's voice is something else. So pleasing to listen to. Also, I know last time you mentioned about the bass player being her husband. That's actually not her husband. Their guitarist Mike Stringer is her husband and he is a phenomenal guitarist and composer. He writes the music for all the instruments. He also works with Courtney to pick the right tones to compliment her voice. So, that is definitely another reason why her vocals are so alluring, because they ride over top the instrumentation perfectly.
Niiiice. Your next stop on the Spiritbox Pleasure Cruise of Musical Delights should be either Constance or Rotoscope, depending on if you want to sob like a baby......or get your dancin' pants on.
