Not sure if it was purposeful, but Pete's two alliteration schemes were P and B, like Pete and Bas. Again, could be reading too much into it, but they were fire nonetheless. One of the things I think make P&B so entertaining is that they're authentic to who they are. You mention the completely British bars and Pete's "B" alliteration scheme was filled with old-sounding British slang. And that's exactly what older British gentlemen like Pete and Bas would sound like, which adds to their authenticity. If they tried to sound like young bangers, they would probably sound ridiculous. But because they stick in the old-man bars and terms, it's completely believable.
