Such a nice video. Thanks for sharing, it was nice to hear 'first-timer's' feedback. Playas Del Coco is on our list now...happy birthday, looks like it was a great evening😊
Thanks so much for the tour around town. My wife and I have retired to Phuket, Thailand but we are still doing lots of traveling. We are looking at doing a home swap on PLU in 2024 with a couple who have a home in Playas Del Coco. It looks like a really cute town, at least they have sidewalks that don't have scooters and cars parked all over them like here. LOL
Good morning considering coming down there for the month of November from Toronto. What is your opinion of the beach there and actually swimming in the ocean? Possibly staying at Pacifico? Thank you
Hi John, if you're looking for turquoise water and white sand you'll be disappointed. It's brown sand and dark blue water. It's a working beach. When looking towards the sea, the right side is cleaner and better kept. What's special about Coco, is that it's a busy beach town (not so much off season)...if that's your thing. As for swimming, I'm not a swimmer so can't really comment, other than I do see people swimming the length of the beach/bay. There are signs posted to watch for undertow. Costa Rica has many beaches. Maybe take a beach hopping tour while you're down there. Pacifico is nice. Enjoy your trip.
@JavaWalkerWorld I'm going to be there next weekend. When we were there in June, I noticed mosquitos were bad at nightfall. I'm thinking because it's the dry season now, hopefully not so much. TY

Do you find that you need insect repellent for the evenings?
No. Not me or my husband.

Yes. I agree with your observation
Are there already more Canadians than Ticos in Coco ???
At this time of year....I think so🤪
But I want to know who's looking after Abbie and the cats? I'm worried!
Abby and the cats are at the spa... They are on vacation too. 😜
@@JavaWalkerWorld So relieved.... I know you ARE the favourites! Tee hee!
