True. Poor all my adult life. I am 61. Work hard for my college edu. Teach. Married 30yrs. Divorced 11 years after. Learned to live in my parameters. It was hard. 3/2020 pandemic,. my father gets sick and in 4.5 he dies. Was with him 24/7 caring. One month later my 1st love husband dies. Mom died 21 yrs ago. I inherit more money than I would make in a lifetime teaching. Not prepared. I don’t know what to do with this blessing and feel adrift in a fog, people who knew my dad have their hands out everywhere. I help, but I am learning to say no kindly. Appreciate your lessons! ❤️

I am persevering through the storm that is going on on the inside of me. I never realized how my childhood trauma affects me today. I have been praying over this for so many years, I put in work, but I fail so many times. The harder I try, the harder it gets. I reminded myself that God is bigger than this life battle that I face in my mind. I don’t know how I will get to the woman, wife, mother, daughter, sister God created me to be, but I trust Him that He will work it all out for His glory, for the good because He loves us. That is where I struggle. I struggle to love myself because of my past. It’s affecting my marriage and the mother that I could be to my 8-month-old daughter. I have a calling to help others with everything that I experienced personally, and I am trusting God to part the waters for his kingdom and his glory.🙌🏼❤️😭
I’ve been dealing with this lost my gf because of it, it’s affected me my entire life. I finally reached out to my mom and gave her forgiveness. I’ve been praying to renew my heart and mind. Learning to control my thoughts. Learning to love myself. The battle is hard but God is on our side.

Amen 🙏 I've been going through the absolute toughest part of my life so far in the past 2 years, but I feel the Lord strengthen me, I see how God is using it, I will come out better and stronger than I was. He wasn't going to leave me on my comfort to stay stagnant and dry out. But he took me out of my comfort zone to grow, to move and survive and even though this feels like the worst time of my life it's also the most blessed part of my life. I've been going through the absolute toughest part of my life so far in the past 2 years, but I feel the Lord strengthen me, I see how God is using it, I will come out better and stronger than I was. He wasn't going to leave me on my comfort to stay stagnant and dry out. But he took me out of my comfort zone to grow, to move and survive and even though this feels like the worst time of my life it's also the most blessed part of my life. And I'm growing closer to God in the process learning to have faith and praise him, wait for He says ok now, now you get what you prayed for, not when you said and how I wanted it or when, but he knows I'm ready to receive it. 🙏🙌🙏🙌🙏🙌 Amen
