Felt like I had been in "Malta" like there's always a storm...with having 10 surgeries, breast cancer at 26, infertility problems/ treatment, a rollercoaster surrogacy journey, 12 year long marriage problems and husband isn't saved. I still have hope and faith. God has never forsaken me. Like that song says: "My feet are planted on this rock and I will not be shaken." God is always there!! I am currently going through alot and I feel as if all hope is gone. I've been struggling from anxiety and depression this year and this has been going on for months..I keep praying but my situation doesn't change..I'm currently in matric and this is having a huge impact on my studies. I've worked so hard to get to this point and I wouldn't want it to go to waste because of what I'm going through..I feel invisible and I'm slowly distancing myself from my loved ones..I keep asking myself why God would allow me to go through such a thing..I am waiting for a breakthrough and I believe that God will have mercy upon me🙏
There's something you barely survived that has left you feeling hopeless. And now you're in a stuck place. In fact you've been there for many years. Paul's in prison for preaching the Gospel, and now he's shipwrecked because they wouldn't listen to him. Just when he thought things couldn't get any worse, he gets bit by a snake. In a place he wasn't even supposed to be. When bad things keep happening to you, people will draw their own conclusions. They'll think you must-have done something to deserve it. When it looks like it's the end for you, shake it off before it kills you. One day you'll see it had to happen. You had to go through it, for God to prove his power. God wants everybody who's watching to see you shake it off. He wants everyone around you to see you trust Him though he slay you. Faith doesn't prevent you from being bit. People will stand there and watch to see what happens next. They won't lift a finger to help you, but they'll stand there staring at you as you struggle. There are people surprised that you survived them. Misery or mission you have a decision to make while you're in that stuck place. What can you do where you are? Your opportunities in life will come from the adversity you go through. You had to go through something that required you to lean into faith, because you couldn't find a way without God. Someone's problem is your opportunity. You're the answer to someone's problem. Paul was the answer to the man's sickness. That's when he understood why he was shipwrecked on Malta. The same hand that was bit by a snake now healed a man. What you went through that almost killed you, will be the thing God uses. What did you go through that you wish you never went through? It had to happen. Paul healed the whole Island. Malta needed Paul. Somewhere someone needs something that's come from what you went through.
I finally turned to God and gave Jesus my life, but then blasphemy thoughts attacked me , I felt condemned but at the same time my faith was so strong, I Kept asking why why am I going through this, I’ve been in the dark for so long and I just wanted to be happy, I was in Malta I could have made the best out of the situation, but then I felt so unforgivable that I turned away from God and try to live a normal life with out him, I was continually tormented and became weak, I prayed, but I’m still waiting, I don’t know if I lost or won becuase I’m still in Malta.
@@jenniferrivera1805 I'm so glad to hear that you've turned to Jesus for help. I try to be sensitive in my spirit to any opportunity that I could help someone in my Malta. I overheard my chiropractors son talking about sick kids hospital so I asked what was going on and he told me that his sons 6 month old baby was going in for heart surgery then he asked me to pray for baby Finn. I've never been asked by someone I've known for years to pray for them and for something so serious. I teared up because it meant alot to me. Which I also didn't know. I didn't know that this gift, this relationship with Jesus and the holy spirit meant so much to me until that moment. To think that my prayers might make a difference in someone's life is a good feeling. I hope God blesses you in that stuck place. I hope you are blessed and like Paul you become a blessing.
It had to happen that I went through this toughest moment in my life. It had to happen that I need to wait longer. It had to happen that I became so impatient. It had to happen why it took me so long. It is the grace of God that I am still worshipping and lifting my hands to Jesus. 💜💜 I can't help but praising and pushing myself even more to prayer.

I have been through so many losses and storms that I haven't had a good relationship w God. In about 5 years I lost my middle at age 19 by suicide. My first Grandchild only made it 4 days. I lost my paternal grandfather and my maternal grandmother also my 31 year niece, a life long best friend and her daughter. So I do have a heavy heart. Im so grateful my BFF had me start watching you
I really needed this sermon, Im going through a rough patch right now where my husband has been telling me to leave for two years, and now today is the day he wanted me to really leave, I thought he was really God fearing, and that he loved me. Now me and my kids have no place to go we planned as a family to move from Florida to Charlotte in July now I'll be heading there alone with my kids. But God has something in store for me and my kids, I mainly want to move to Charlotte to be able to come to church instead of watching. God please open doors please make a way for us to get where you want me to be in you, in Jesus name I pray.

My testimony had a mini stroke during early pregnancy, I survived it, gone through ruptured placenta in another pregnancy while bed written for almost 5 months in hospital, survived it, just when I thought it was over I gave birth and my baby the 2nd day she wouldn’t eat looked lethargic so she stood in the NICU, she survived that, I survived it, marriage redeemed, I survived it, then I had cancer w 2 surgeries, I survived it. Gods Hope. God is Hope, Gods timing.

Something was saying into my thoughts that I had to give up what God told me because, if I do not, I will certainly fail or die. This sermon hit me in my current circumstances like a bullseye. I believe the boat represented the provision that God made for Paul to carry him to his calling Rome. But the storm was so great that it even destroyed the provision. This recently happened to me, a blessing God gave, a boat, has been carrying me for quite some time, was utterly destroyed by a terrible storm. Gos showed me in advance the storm was coming and that it would be great but I didn’t know what it would consist of. I went through the absolute hardest season of my life which happen to come on the end of an extremely long trial. I was brought well passed the end of myself in every way. I did my understand why God destroyed the boat until I heard this sermon. Thank you.
This is so much for me. I just went through a divorce after 24 years together. My ex was paying the mortgage as i was a stsy at home dad. We just found out we have a week to get out of our home. She was keeping the money and not making payments.I have custody of our boys and we dont know where we are going to go. I am now working full time and was making the payments. But had no idea how far we were behind because she had the mail going to her. We were served Friday. Have 5 days to pack up a house with 24 years of things while trying to work fullrime and also find somewhere to go. Am lost and dont have answeres. Have been praying. I could buy the place but have not been at my job for 6 months. Sept 9 will be 6 months. We are homeless as of friday the 14th of August. Very scared. Need help so bad. Please GOD HELP. I have to trust that God knows what he is doing it and why. “It had to happen,” trusting and letting go.

My mom passed away a few years back and I relapsed on drugs. I had nine kids at the time and a beautiful family and I lost it all. I was a very selfish person who didn't care always about myself or anyone else the devil stole from me everything that mattered. Over the years since then I've seen my children turn into attics just as I am, it's killing me. My 23 year old daughter whose birthday is today died in September last year drug overdose. I can sit here and tell you how I'm not a bad person how I try to treat people good but I keep having bad happen to me. And I'm always asking God why why but the truth is I've done nothing to deserve anything. So looking back on all sadness and destruction I caused I can't help but think I had to go through it. I'm still going through it today I'm in active addiction and my 17-year-old son is all as well we are together and we are homeless he turns 18 in 2 days we're both talking about treatment but God has been speaking to me he wants me to go to spread his word in the homeless places. This isn't the first time he has spoke to me about this same thing. I think you Stephen it's really make me think and you make sense to what the Lord is telling me you're a blessing keep the sermons coming little by little the wall is being broken I appreciate you

I'm also going through a separation/ divorce. I've been going through so much 😪 he has ruined my life in so many ways. We split up when we were engaged bc of his emotional, mental, and physical abuse. I left him and a year later he manipulated me into thinking that he had changed and he couldn't live without me. So I married him and my life went right back to crap. He wants me to treat him like he's my child instead of my partner. I've been praying to God for strength and wisdom everyday. I can't blame him fully I take responsibility for my part of our marriage not working. Trust is a big part and foundation of a marriage and trust is like a piece of paper once the paper is crinkled you can never make it back to the way it was before it was crinkled... you can never make it the way it was. 💔

Steve, God has spoke to me through your sermons while I was doing wicked and deviant things. It was like you were speaking directly to me. I had one foot in the door and I still felt skeptical. But your sermon gave me so much guilt that I picked the Bible up and then God was giving me as much guilt as you were and it put me at a low that was lower than I've ever been. I asked God to please forgive me and He touched me so hard that I was writhing and screaming in pain and pleasure that was better than any drug I have tasted. I couldn't stop saying how much I was a wicked fool and God overfilled my cup. My mother was a witness to my testimony. Please pray for me, I have a long way to go and I can't do it on my own. I know God will never abandon me. I love you all and thank you for listening

I am currently going through alot and I feel as if all hope is gone. I've been struggling from anxiety and depression this year and this has been going on for months..I keep praying but my situation doesn't change..I'm currently in matric and this is having a huge impact on my studies. I've worked so hard to get to this point and I wouldn't want it to go to waste because of what I'm going through..I feel invisible and I'm slowly distancing myself from my loved ones..I keep asking myself why God would allow me to go through such a thing..I am waiting for a breakthrough and I believe that God will have mercy upon me🙏

There's something you barely survived that has left you feeling hopeless. And now you're in a stuck place. In fact you've been there for many years. Paul's in prison for preaching the Gospel, and now he's shipwrecked because they wouldn't listen to him. Just when he thought things couldn't get any worse, he gets bit by a snake. In a place he wasn't even supposed to be. When bad things keep happening to you, people will draw their own conclusions. They'll think you must-have done something to deserve it. When it looks like it's the end for you, shake it off before it kills you. One day you'll see it had to happen. You had to go through it, for God to prove his power. God wants everybody who's watching to see you shake it off. He wants everyone around you to see you trust Him though he slay you. Faith doesn't prevent you from being bit. People will stand there and watch to see what happens next. They won't lift a finger to help you, but they'll stand there staring at you as you struggle. There are people surprised that you survived them. Misery or mission you have a decision to make while you're in that stuck place. What can you do where you are? Your opportunities in life will come from the adversity you go through. You had to go through something that required you to lean into faith, because you couldn't find a way without God. Someone's problem is your opportunity. You're the answer to someone's problem. Paul was the answer to the man's sickness. That's when he understood why he was shipwrecked on Malta. The same hand that was bit by a snake now healed a man. What you went through that almost killed you, will be the thing God uses. What did you go through that you wish you never went through? It had to happen. Paul healed the whole Island. Malta needed Paul. Somewhere someone needs something that's come from what you went through.

I finally turned to God and gave Jesus my life, but then blasphemy thoughts attacked me , I felt condemned but at the same time my faith was so strong, I Kept asking why why am I going through this, I’ve been in the dark for so long and I just wanted to be happy, I was in Malta I could have made the best out of the situation, but then I felt so unforgivable that I turned away from God and try to live a normal life with out him, I was continually tormented and became weak, I prayed, but I’m still waiting, I don’t know if I lost or won becuase I’m still in Malta.
@@jenniferrivera1805 I'm so glad to hear that you've turned to Jesus for help. I try to be sensitive in my spirit to any opportunity that I could help someone in my Malta. I overheard my chiropractors son talking about sick kids hospital so I asked what was going on and he told me that his sons 6 month old baby was going in for heart surgery then he asked me to pray for baby Finn. I've never been asked by someone I've known for years to pray for them and for something so serious. I teared up because it meant alot to me. Which I also didn't know. I didn't know that this gift, this relationship with Jesus and the holy spirit meant so much to me until that moment. To think that my prayers might make a difference in someone's life is a good feeling. I hope God blesses you in that stuck place. I hope you are blessed and like Paul you become a blessing.

I have been through so many losses and storms that I haven't had a good relationship w God. In about 5 years I lost my middle at age 19 by suicide. My first Grandchild only made it 4 days. I lost my paternal grandfather and my maternal grandmother also my 31 year niece, a life long best friend and her daughter. So I do have a heavy heart. Im so grateful my BFF had me start watching you
I really needed this sermon, Im going through a rough patch right now where my husband has been telling me to leave for two years, and now today is the day he wanted me to really leave, I thought he was really God fearing, and that he loved me. Now me and my kids have no place to go we planned as a family to move from Florida to Charlotte in July now I'll be heading there alone with my kids. But God has something in store for me and my kids, I mainly want to move to Charlotte to be able to come to church instead of watching. God please open doors please make a way for us to get where you want me to be in you, in Jesus name I pray.

My testimony had a mini stroke during early pregnancy, I survived it, gone through ruptured placenta in another pregnancy while bed written for almost 5 months in hospital, survived it, just when I thought it was over I gave birth and my baby the 2nd day she wouldn’t eat looked lethargic so she stood in the NICU, she survived that, I survived it, marriage redeemed, I survived it, then I had cancer w 2 surgeries, I survived it. Gods Hope. God is Hope, Gods timing.

Thank you so much for this. As i go through unemployment because I ve been economically fired because of COVID 19, I could not find peaceful sleep last night. Something was saying into my thoughts that I had to give up what God told me because, if I do not, I will certainly fail or die. Hope is hard nowadays, thank you for this word of trust, coming at the right time.

This sermon hit me in my current circumstances like a bullseye. I believe the boat represented the provision that God made for Paul to carry him to his calling Rome. But the storm was so great that it even destroyed the provision. This recently happened to me, a blessing God gave, a boat, has been carrying me for quite some time, was utterly destroyed by a terrible storm. Gos showed me in advance the storm was coming and that it would be great but I didn’t know what it would consist of. I went through the absolute hardest season of my life which happen to come on the end of an extremely long trial. I was brought well passed the end of myself in every way. I did my understand why God destroyed the boat until I heard this sermon. Thank you.
This is so much for me. I just went through a divorce after 24 years together. My ex was paying the mortgage as i was a stsy at home dad. We just found out we have a week to get out of our home. She was keeping the money and not making payments.I have custody of our boys and we dont know where we are going to go. I am now working full time and was making the payments. But had no idea how far we were behind because she had the mail going to her. We were served Friday. Have 5 days to pack up a house with 24 years of things while trying to work fullrime and also find somewhere to go. Am lost and dont have answeres. Have been praying. I could buy the place but have not been at my job for 6 months. Sept 9 will be 6 months. We are homeless as of friday the 14th of August. Very scared. Need help so bad. Please GOD HELP. Pastor Furtick i have been following you for months now. I know somehow someway God will help but as of right now Im stuck. God bless you all. Love you all. Rich. Beldo.

“Misery or mission” amen! This past month has been the hardest of my life so far, lost my baby, my engagement, my dog. & for a while I was trying to figure out why me? Why if I don’t deserve this.. I have to trust that God knows what he is doing it and why. “It had to happen,” trusting and letting go.

There’s something soooo powerful that I felt when Paul got bitten by the snake, and pastor Steven said “ Paul knew that he had to get to Rome”, this implies that the snake bite won’t kill him. 🙌🏾 the seas didn’t kill him 🙌🏾 the devil threw the worst at him but he still came out strong to fulfill the Lords purpose! 👏🏾 there’s something so powerful about knowing that if God have you some purpose, He will see it to finish! Don’t let the devil convince you that God isn’t on your side! 🙌🏾 (I pray that I may have this faith. I pray for steadfastness and courage for myself and to everyone else who feels like giving up 🙌🏾)

I SO NEEDED THIS!!!!!!! I am finding by strength & my faith and PRAYING so hard for so MUCH!!!
My mom passed away a few years back and I relapsed on drugs. I had nine kids at the time and a beautiful family and I lost it all. I was a very selfish person who didn't care always about myself or anyone else the devil stole from me everything that mattered. Over the years since then I've seen my children turn into attics just as I am, it's killing me. My 23 year old daughter whose birthday is today died in September last year drug overdose. I can sit here and tell you how I'm not a bad person how I try to treat people good but I keep having bad happen to me. And I'm always asking God why why but the truth is I've done nothing to deserve anything. So looking back on all sadness and destruction I caused I can't help but think I had to go through it. I'm still going through it today I'm in active addiction and my 17-year-old son is all as well we are together and we are homeless he turns 18 in 2 days we're both talking about treatment but God has been speaking to me he wants me to go to spread his word in the homeless places. This isn't the first time he has spoke to me about this same thing. I think you Stephen it's really make me think and you make sense to what the Lord is telling me you're a blessing keep the sermons coming little by little the wall is being broken I appreciate you

Never thought I’d be going thou this but I trust it’s the right thing. Stay strong man and just know Gods plan may not always be our plan. It’s better!! I'm also going through a separation/ divorce. I've been going through so much 😪 he has ruined my life in so many ways. We split up when we were engaged bc of his emotional, mental, and physical abuse. I left him and a year later he manipulated me into thinking that he had changed and he couldn't live without me. So I married him and my life went right back to crap. He wants me to treat him like he's my child instead of my partner. I've been praying to God for strength and wisdom everyday. I can't blame him fully I take responsibility for my part of our marriage not working. Trust is a big part and foundation of a marriage and trust is like a piece of paper once the paper is crinkled you can never make it back to the way it was before it was crinkled... you can never make it the way it was. 💔

Steve, God has spoke to me through your sermons while I was doing wicked and deviant things. It was like you were speaking directly to me. I had one foot in the door and I still felt skeptical. But your sermon gave me so much guilt that I picked the Bible up and then God was giving me as much guilt as you were and it put me at a low that was lower than I've ever been. I asked God to please forgive me and He touched me so hard that I was writhing and screaming in pain and pleasure that was better than any drug I have tasted. I couldn't stop saying how much I was a wicked fool and God overfilled my cup. My mother was a witness to my testimony. Please pray for me, I have a long way to go and I can't do it on my own. I know God will never abandon me. I love you all and thank you for listening
