I’m 22 now and live completely sober & happy but most importantly I’m closer than I’ve ever been with God and it’s because of him that I’ve gained everything that I once lost. Do you know who sits on the left side of God on his throne ? I’ve searched but can’t find the answer
I woke up having a panic attack, tears streaming down my face, and I asked God to please take it away. Take away the pain and the fear. I asked God to speak to me, and I decided to put on a church sermon to hear from God instead of a TV show to drown out my fears. It goes without saying that God spoke to me and gave me peace. Instead of asking God to take away my pain and fear, I'm asking God to grow me through it, knowing that God has the power to heal me, but has decided instead to teach me.

This was a very good video. I started crying towards the end of all the hurt I’ve been holding in and so many questions and answers I needed to know. All I need is god ❤he matters. He will guide me in better decisions. I trust god. He’s been with me the entire time. I feel the holy spirit while watching this. Amen.
As a teenager I needed this because as teenagers when you talk about GOD people call you weird or crazy in school but today you have made me realise that it doesn't matter what people think of you .

Just letting you know 1 year later … working night shift as a pediatric home care nurse, this message matters!! I grew up in church but had the faith of my parents and not my own, lost my youngest son to drowning 13 years ago and ran from the Lord. It’s been and up and down battle since then. Over the last couple of months our new business has struggled beyond belief and I was so so close to divorcing my husband because I selfishly thought he was supposed to make me happy….I was overwhelmed by stress on angles and then I was reminded only God can make my happy! On May 18th at 2:02 in the morning GOD WOKE ME UP!! I rededicated my life right there, just me and God. I know God has a purpose for all the pain and I know He wants to use my story for His glory. Satan has tried to tell me “Oh but your not ready yet. Wait a little while and make sure this sticks before you tell someone.” Right now in this moment I am refusing to believe this lie!!! When Jesus called the disciplines it says they immediately stopped what they were doing and followed Him. They didn’t wait till they were ready, God made them ready! I have struggled with fear and anxiety my whole life but I refuse to be controlled by it or what other people may think. I will never be good enough…but my God is and HE matters!! Thank you for this message 🙏
I'm glad you came back to Jesus. And I can tell you from my own life I know what it is to lose a child, it's tough but God is greater than the heartbreak. Now after 17 years God has used my heartbreak to love others going through this loss. He gave me understanding to understand what others are facing.

You ministered to my soul. As I have been struggling with worry ( what if ??? ) you said it word for word. I was making breakfast (in my robe). My hours at work ( two jobs) have been cut. I woke up in the (middle of the night) with overwhelming feelings of why ? With my adult kids ( relationships) from a divorce, that was not my decision, but I feel I'm getting the wrath of it all 😢 my favorite verse is Phil 4:7, which I prayed and cried out to God last night, saying you are bigger than my kids, my job and all the WHAT IFS ??? In my mind, right now. Take this feeling of overwhelming circumstances that the enemy is placing in my mind/ thoughts! I decided to prop my phone up while making breakfast to listen to your sermon, I'm so grateful I did... as I feel God was speaking to me through you... like you could see me and feel my pain. If you could please keep me in prayers for restoration with grown kids, I would appreciate it much. Don’t take it personal when people take out their pain on you
They attack you and then expect you to apologize because it's your fault. After a while it makes you think it might actually be your fault because you're a bad person. I have a list of people I am seeking forgiveness from that will not take responsibility for hurting and controlling me yet I can't seem to have peace because I just want the peace that can only come through forgiveness. I do take responsibility for being a knucklehead at times but I just can't keep going through this with people!
Well people if they are people can practice SELF CONTROL. A FRUIT OF GODS SPIRIT.

True. But when someone "takes out their pain" on others (for whatever reason)...are they not causing pain to another person? Disregarding another by telling them not to " take it personal" is hardly an answer. Each situation is different. For those who choose to use their pain as a way to justify acting with hatred and malice, they should not be surprised if they are treated in like manner.
Even if just rebuked. As Jesus did rebuke his adversaries..and at times even His Own.
However, if one is truly a child of Yahweh then they Will be corrected by Him...if they are not, then they are bastards and not true sons and daughters of Christ. If one is in Christ then they should have self control..This does not mean they have to trust or even associate with someone who is continually causing them pain.
Im in tears.. I've been so worried about the ones that reject me that I've forgotten about the ONE who has chosen me... Thank you brother.. I needed this Word today.

I was studying, i heard a voice telling me to watch a sermon online and i thought that's a spirit of distraction because it was already late here in South Africa ( midnight) but that voice just didn't let go so I decided to take a pause, and listen to a sermon online. But i felt a conviction that i should search for furtick and listen to one of his sermons and i came across this specific one and chos eit over the other sermons.
After living on this earth for 30 years and failing and sinning I am coming to your house asking for you to take control of my life lord. I never leave comments on TH-cam pages, mostly because I know it’ll never been seen. However, this Sermon pulled my heart right outta my chest and pumped it back to life again. Theses last few years have been tough.
Divorce, moving states, new job, single mom, in and out of horrible relationships. Saturday was my breaking point. Saturday was the day I finally lost all hope and tried to take my life. Luckily I wasn’t successful. Part of me feels like I didn’t take enough pills on purpose, knowing it wouldn’t be enough to take me out but at least enough to knock me out for some time. Waking up was hard. I’ve never felt so lost, confused, angry and sad in my whole life. Today wasn’t much better. Slept 90% of the day and when I was awake I just cried uncontrollably. I’ve been watching Furtick for over a year now but lately I’ve been skipping past his videos, just not wanting to hear all the “God talk” Today though, God left me no choice. I opened my app and this video started playing right away, without hesitation. I stopped and listened. Steven, thank you for what you do. It’s people like you who give people like us hope and strength to some how keep going. Thank you. Thank you for saving me. Thank you♥️

My girlfriend just cheated on me after almost 2 years of dating and I really am glad I found this. I tried to be so good to her and I couldn’t understand until I just realized that god just closed that door for a reason. I was thinking everything was my fault and I was in a really bad place. Listening to this preaching has brought me so much closer to god and a lot of my stress is gone when I listen to this. I am unable to make most mornings of church because of my work schedule so this is my new version of church until I get a new schedule.

Came here reading this in February 2024, I feel like there were some parts that really resonated with me other parts, that my mind was just too distracted to comprehend. I still feel grateful to have actually listened to the whole sermon instead of logging off because Lord knows I wanted to log off so many times. I pray for peace and clarity during this time of my life.

I can displace my anger very easily due to having PTSD. So when I am frustrated and can’t find the source I immediately got to the word or listen to my favorite pastors to bring things back into perspective.

been feeling lost recently, losing my father and my mother becoming distant i began to believe that my existence didn’t matter after so much taken away from me, no worldly motivation or council could help, i almost gave up. this message made me realize that those thoughts weren’t mine and that i have a purpose that the enemy doesn’t want me to see. appreciate you for your work in God’s kingdom.
