- Whenever we go out in this season we’re reaching for our masks and gloves to protect ourselves from an invisible virus. Pastor Steven Furtick of Elevation Church in Charlotte, NC is helping us keep our minds safe from fear, frustration, and even an unhealthy obsession with ”the facts.” He says, “We need medical masks for our minds,” so we can “Focus On The Fruit.”
Building from two key Bible passages, Philippians 1 verses 12-22 written by the Apostle Paul while he was in prison and Romans 8 verses 18-28 Pastor Steven is continuing with more quarantine encouragement, following messages like “Looking Forward To Normal” (ele.vc/Di8Ujh) and “A Lesson In Letting Go (ele.vc/B4tEKI).”
Romans 8 verse 28 says, “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to His purpose.” Even if we feel like we’ve been given a prison sentence in this season, we can choose to focus on the word of God, Live the fruit of the spirit, and we can choose to turn graves into gardens.
When you watch this message, you’ll learn how to shift your mind to the only thing you really can control -what you choose to focus on. You’re going to learn the freeing power of embracing the phrase, “I don’t know.”
While the media and politicians are scrambling to find the facts and people are becoming more and more paralyzed waiting on vaccines, we can, instead, “Focus On The Fruit.” Pastor Steven Furtick says, “We are all equally ignorant about what’s next,” so we may as well focus on what’s now and expect God to meet us in the middle. “What I’m going through is nothing compared with what God is going to do through it.”
Don’t focus on your frustrations, your fears or even the facts, in this season, we need to “Focus On The Fruit.”

Dear God when i was 19 i was lost. Today when i am at 25 i find myself at the same place praying for same things meanwhile i lost 2 of my family member one my father other is my cousin(brother) my health deteriorating my monther mentally chalanged has become more toxic weak and violent. My 3 years old relationship ended and after that two more people came to my life that only made things worse for me. I hv no job. Please help me to come out of this cycle of suffering it's been a v long time God please listen me. And Listen those who are in need. I luv you and i praise you each and every single moment of my life. My life is yours.

I've been hanging on by a thread. My parents and sisters died last year, and last month my husband of 26 years wants to have a mid-life crisis and has never believed in God. Some days, I listen to his sermons non-stop, one after the other. But today, I am sobbing and finally feel that it is going to be ok and that my pain has a purpose. And that my faith means everything to me. Thank you Pastor Steven. You are a gift from the Lord. You save my life every day.
I'm having a crisis 2 my boyfriend broke my stuff and hit me I called the police they won't help I'm homeless we don't have a shelter where I'm living and I have money but not enough to rent a place because Corona there's only a few places and they're very expensive

I live in Riverton Wyoming got to change my heart I used to be a drug addict gang member I thank God everyday for what he's done in my life
I dont usually do this but God's presence is strong where I am. This morning, my mom wasn't well and I had errands that needed attending, so I left her at home and thought I'd be only but a few minutes...The car I went with broke down at the mall and lol I began to stress. Internally I knew that God needs my attention so I kept quiet and listened. There was a man whom I approached to ask him to help jump start the car and the man happened to look like Pastor Steve lol. After we left I didn't hear God say anything but my mind was clear because I was very stressed and full of anxiety.. I asked Him gently to help me with fix my focus on Him and His word and promises...i'm now on youtube and I knew in my spirit that this word was what I needed to hear. Faith is the things I hope for and the evidence of things not yet seen. Whoever is reading this... I pray you never give up. Never stop believing in the God in you. You're gonna be okay. “Some things you don’t need to know. That’s where faith grows.” I wrote that quote on my desk at work and I posted it online. It will stick with me in my heart. It’s so freeing to realize that ‘I don’t know’ is the foundation of our belief. Thank you God for that message and thank you Pastor Steven for helping my faith grow week by week! I am wonderfully weird, and I embrace that fact.
This sermon proved to me that I hear Gods voice now, he spoke to me Friday night telling me that he won’t tell me my story and what’s gonna happen at the end of this season. He told me “I will never tell you a clear yes or no, if you hear that it’s not me” this fortified that’s I don’t need a yes or no about anything bc my hope doesn’t blossom when I get those answers, it blossoms when I remember how good my God is and how much he loves me

Something doesn't sound right, and I'm not sure if it's in the way you explained it. God does give a clear YES OR NO....and it can sound like this, "this is my will or this isn't my will". To not get a clear understanding isn't from God. He might not show us everything but along the way you'll know from Him if you're in the right or wrong.
Hannah Williams I should’ve made it clearer, I had a horrible habit of asking questions about my future in my brain about specific things and ppl and was getting unhealthy direct yes or no from something that wasn’t God. God told me that in regard to whenever I ask a specific question about my future not stuff like his will for me in the present that if I ever heard a strong yes or no like I used to that it wasn’t him
I guess you don't believe in the book of Genesis where it was clear that fathers of faith clearly heard God. What kind of God would keep you guessing?

Praying for you brother that your unborn baby will be born healthy and strong and that God would prepare you and your new wife to be Godly parents. Nevertheless, I pray that God's will be done and that no matter what happens you will cling tighter to Christ even if things dont go so well. He is worthy of praise in all circumstances.

I have listened to this sermon 3 times and this is the first time i noticed what you said about RATTLE making you cry. Well i am weird, too cuz it gets me every time!! I think for me it is just profound gratitude for the absolute beauty of the truth it proclaims. He rescued me from death and gave me LIFE!!! PRAISE HIS HOLY NAME!!!! If i never see another blessing from God for the rest of my days i can still say i am more blessed than i could have ever asked for or deserved!!!❤

This message brought me strength, clarity, and growth. It deeply touched my spirit. Thank you Furtick family, I say thank you to all of you because you probably miss out on getting some your husband's undivided attention Holly, and your children probably miss out sometimes while he prepares these important messages for the world.
