The problem ive had with not just the knights templar, but history in general, is that the Victor always writes the history. As the knights Templar grew in power, they began to be a potential threat against the powers that be. When the king of France and the pope saw that all they had to do was make some accusations that they could not only be free of their debts to the knights templar, but they could actually have the wealth that the knights Templar had accumulated. It really wasn't uncommon to accuse your enemies of being in League with the devil or whatever the entity of the day was. One time I was adding stuff to my Amazon lists, and when I was checking out my wish list of Christian stuff (like different Bible translations, prayer beads, incense, a movie about the Virgin Mary, etc.) I saw at the bottom that Amazon had recommended to me a necklace of Baphomet. I was super taken aback by that. This helps give more context about his supposedly Templar roots, and I understand it a bit better now, but that was still a weird thing to see.

Hence why there are 12 months because there are 12 constellations the sun passes through in its yearly cycle (though technically its 13). Well if you think back to when Altaïr had sent the Templars from Masyaf after he had killed the man in Solomons Temple, confronted Robert De Sable, and got Kadar killed due to his own bloodthirst, even though he sent them back he was demoted. I just wanted to say, I love your videos! This comes from a follower and supporter, but as someone who studies the occult, this is a complete inaccurate dipiction of Baphomet and it's universal symbolic meaning. This isn't a story about Baphomet, this is a beautiful story about the Knights Templar, and how the church used Baphomet's image out of context to demonize these men. Baphomet is a very universal symbol and really has no ties to to the Judo-Christian Satan or Luciferianism (actual worship of Biblical Satan, Satanism is something completely different) at all.

The problem ive had with not just the knights templar, but history in general, is that the Victor always writes the history. As the knights Templar grew in power, they began to be a potential threat against the powers that be. When the king of France and the pope saw that all they had to do was make some accusations that they could not only be free of their debts to the knights templar, but they could actually have the wealth that the knights Templar had accumulated.
It really wasn't uncommon to accuse your enemies of being in League with the devil or whatever the entity of the day was. It was a good way to get the people on your side and have them turn against your enemy, before your enemy really knows what the hell is going on.

One time I was adding stuff to my Amazon lists, and when I was checking out my wish list of Christian stuff (like different Bible translations, prayer beads, incense, a movie about the Virgin Mary, etc.) I saw at the bottom that Amazon had recommended to me a necklace of Baphomet. I was super taken aback by that. This helps give more context about his supposedly Templar roots, and I understand it a bit better now, but that was still a weird thing to see.

Yeah, the Templars were pretty alright. Years ahead of their time when it came to economics and banking. Just as the Knights Hospitaller were ahead of their time in the realms of medicine, medical treatment, and education.

I just wanted to say, I love your videos! This comes from a follower and supporter, but as someone who studies the occult, this is a complete inaccurate dipiction of Baphomet and it's universal symbolic meaning.
This isn't a story about Baphomet, this is a beautiful story about the Knights Templar, and how the church used Baphomet's image out of context to demonize these men. Baphomet is a very universal symbol and really has no ties to to the Judo-Christian Satan or Luciferianism (actual worship of Biblical Satan, Satanism is something completely different) at all.

The Church didn’t like the idea of its authority being challenged by anything be it “Pagan” religions, other Abrahamic faiths, Christian sects, or philosophers and magical thinkers. Many things deemed evil have very benign origins and aren’t really as evil or scary as it seems today. They are, after all, just symbols.

To put it into terms you can understand, the devil is know to speak in scripture. Nothing is truly untouchable. And if the devil is trult a really skilled trickster then he could trick people by using something sacred as a religion to enact atrocities and other malevolent acts under the guise of doing God’s work. The devil doesn’t need scary symbols or secret evil cults to do horrific shit. He just needs you to be gullible and easily tempted enough by sweet enough words to commit them.
So be wary of things and people telling you that some things are pure evil or taboo and to basically trust them. There maybe more sinister intents hiding behind their blessed facades. There is really nothing wrong with wanting to gain a better context. Truth will set you free. Symbols won’t scare you as much.
