Moloch is one of the very few deities from other beliefs that actually deserved its title as a demon in Christian demonology. Child sacrifice itself will always be fundamentally immoral, but doing so via burning alive; IE, the most painful death someone can experience; is a special kind of vile.

I think that it goes much deeper than that.
The main reason is that far few facts (if any in regards to deities e.g. angels, demons, imps, gods, watchers, jinn etc) have been found (much less deciphered or translated) and so much information is unavailable.
I'm aware there is a lot but I don't think it represents anything like what has been lost, overlooked, destroyed (whether intentional or not), hidden, stolen, unrecognized, misinterpreted, or simply not discovered (yet).

@@Fiachbuay1987 You are assuming a history of religions approach, that one religion evolved from another and so all of them are culturally conditioned and explainable (and thus all false in a literal sense). If however, you approach the Biblical text as Holy Spirit-breathed Word of God (as orthodox Christians do), you will necessarily come away with the idea that everything presented within it as history is to be understood literally: Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses etc... and if that's the case than the Biblical narrative was the "original metanarrative" creating the foundation from which all other myths and religions fit into and derive from... the Biblical understanding of fallen Powers and Principalities explains why pagan cultures (Babylon, etc) worship these grotesque divine beings... rather than seeing Judaism/Christianity as growing out from their worldview and coming to radically differing conclusions (which is far more a stretch).
      To create a diagram:
      History of Religions approach...
Pantheism -> Polytheism -> Monotheism -> Atheism etc (thus simply a naturalistic development; Christianity is invented 2000 years ago as a result of complex cultural processes)
      Orthodox Christian approach...
Truth of Divine Revelation -> Fall to False Religion by demonic lies (theological explanation; Christianity was the unrealized truth from the beginning but lost until 2000 years ago)

As well as understand what is going on during that period of time. I don't view the Biblical script as you do, because there is a lot of it you cannot understand without many other texts. This is why I don't take the Christian perspective of the Old Testament seriously because they tend to ignore the Talmud.     "But our ancestors refused to obey him (Moses). Instead, they rejected him and in their hearts turned back to Egypt. They told Aaron, 'Make us gods who will go before us. As for this fellow Moses who led us out of Egypt - we don't know what has happened to him!' That was the time they made an idol in the form of a calf. They brought sacrifices to it and reveled in what their own hands had made. But God turned away from them and gave them over to the worship of the sun, moon and stars. This agrees with what is written in the book of the prophets;
'Did you bring me sacrifices and offerings forty years in the wilderness, people of Israel? You have taken up the tabernacle of Moloch and the star of your god Rephan, the idols you made to worship. Therefore I will send you into exile BEYOND Babylon.'" - Acts 7:39-43
Look at all the material trinkets that have sun, moon and stars in their brands! Mithraism and other forms of sun worship never went away but are changing from the "dark" to the (false) "light", from the old order and into to the new order. The first beast system and the second beast system... But their efforts will be in vain.
    Amos 5:26
"You have lifted up the shrine of your king, the pedestal of your idols, the star of your god - WHICH YOU MADE FOR YOURSELVES."
    Acts 7:48-50
"However, the Most High does not live in houses made by human hands. As the prophet says; 'Heaven is My throne and the earth is My foot stool. What kind of house will you build for Me?' says the Lord. 'Or where will My resting place be? Has not My Hand made all these things?'"

BUT Lucifer would be the God that gave man the ability to think critically and philosophically… which was seen as evil to Enlil and Sky father Anu. Because man wasn’t supposed to reach such great heights. Enki/Prometheus, Lucifer are all one and the same being. Remember the Old Testament god is enlil and Anu…respectively. Meaning lucifers origins were a loving one. And actually the ONLY one who cared to save men. Or the Adamu. Which means man/blood. He is the same being who saved Moses/Zissudra from the biblical flood or the “Great deluge” as it’s called in all the other faiths. The Bible is the only work making him evil. It’s basically down to this enlil “Bible god” wanted us all dumb and blissfully ignorant, and his brother wanted us to ascend to good hood like them. Enlil and Anu (the main father) sent the flood to get rid of man. Enki or Lucifer can wouldn’t allow his creations to be completely wiped out. He also gave the gnosis through Hermes to give to the Egyptians, Norse, Mayan/Aztec and the America’s. There’s two tribes enlil is the ruling one currently…. Think \//\ativan versus nature and love.

No, it was always in exchange for great provision. Human and animal sacrifice was always connected to ensuring a fertile harvest, or great provision of fruitful land. The value of a child was comparable to the innocence of a lamb. The purity and innocence was regarded as of greatest value via the blood, ie: the many references to the blood of the lamb in tbe Old and New
Testament. It is always thanks to the BLOOD that the gift is delivered. The Judeo-Christian diety is no different. We should be asking ourselves why a supreme being should require so much blood..

You err not knowing the scripture nobody is technically saved unless you endure to the end. And Christ was sent for the lost sheep of the house of Israel.Im not sure what race you are you appear to be of European descent which means you're probably a descendant of the nation of Edom. In Israel law they sacrificed a lam without blemish to cover sins but they fell, so Christ had to come in order to defeat sin, Satan, and death. If Christ never came the 12 tribes of Israel would be no more. So I don't get how your mind can equate the two.

I would caution everyone from taking the concept of Moloch too literally. As with many symbols in the bible, they are things that you manifest through your actions. The main point about Moloch is something in the vein of “He demands infinite potential (children metaphor) and gives you nothing in return return”. An example for something like that would be excessively playing video games (waste your time, gain nothing) or general obsessions with things that do not bring you closer to the best state you could possibly be in.

In The the Gnostic Faction I follow we teach Molach is "The Devil of Conflict". One of a handful of "Great Devils" who's spheres are unavoidable thus making them impossible to defeat by mortal effort. Molach in particilar gains power from ALL conflict, including opposing him, and sows striff and mistrust in the hearts of mortals. Encouraging profain rights, such as human sacrifice, is one lf the methods he does so. Because The Priest is all for worshiping Ba'al Molach until HIS Child is drawn for the lot. Then things get ugly.
