I'm a Canadian. So appreciative of your recognition of us. Thank you! BTW, your recipe looks amazing! Personally I would use whole wheat bread and crackers, but that is what we like here.
I’ve noticed I now tend to shrug my shoulders and hold my hands up a lot. I stole that from Phil. It literally can mean so many things without saying a word. Very useful gesture. I also was a C+ student and use his phrase frequently.
I 💕 love this channel. It always blesses my heart. I hope the traditions are carried on long after your with Our Heavenly Father. I watched y'all's show back years ago n I am so glad to see y'all on TH-cam. Keep spreading the word and recipes because God gave y'all a special gift. Lots of special gifts. Thank you God Bless
Him cooking, makes me Think back to my good ole Tennessee days. Where all the family would gather for Thanksgiving, and we'd laugh and play while Granny and momma would make the dressing and other family members would be cooking other foods. Alot of my elderly family gone now..They lived not far from Dolly Partons house. My momma knew Dolly when she was just a little girl. Your good people Mr. Phil and family..God Bless you
Everyone love the good Lord with all of your heart. I feel that He is coming soon. This month is not the month of merchandise. It's about love. It's about taking time out of a busy day to help your neighbor, to stop and say hello to an elderly person, to teach our young generation about Jesus. There are so many gifts you can give. But they dont come from a store. They come from the warmness of your heart, the place where Jesus lives, if you will invite Him in..The Gift is Love The Gift is Jesus. Love to you all and Have a Merry Christmas
My mother made some of the best dressing ever and it's very similiar to yours. She liked sage, so she used a bit more. Instead of white bread, she used Pepperidge Farm bread crumbs since they had some seasoning on them. We had no hunters in our family, so she purchased either a hen or a duck. She took the hen/duck off the bone and put it in the dressing. She also added a lb. or so of pork sausage and a bit of boiled eggs, livers, and gizzards which were also put in the giblet gravy. Everything else was the same as yours. One of the last times she prepared dressing, I was surprised how much she used her hands in the dressing to blend it. That dressing was massaged and loved on! Thanks so much for sharing your dressing recipe. Have a wonderful Christmas!
I'm always impressed by a Charlie Chip can, on a video. If I ever vlog, I'll have to remember to pull mine out of the attic. Yes, that was a compliment. Thank you.
p.s.: I'll have to look back to see how many eggs. Then I can cut the recipe back for a smaller pot. I am may be envious of that pot. I have a basic black roasting pot. It should work, but not that big. ;)
Ive duck hunted for over 13 years and im 23 its an art green wing teal are the best eating but dove are hands down number one i love a good plucked and smoked mallard though cant go wrong its a great faith hunting these creatures
Brings back fond memories of my childhood. My dad going duck hunting late fall in northern Alberta.None of us kids really liked the taste of roast wild ducks, but it was fun to see who would get the most shotgun bb's in the meat while eating
Phil I grew up on Lake Ontario in upstate NY... you should have seen the amount of ducks we got. A boy use to leave dead ducks on my door step cause he knew I loved them in hopes I would go out with him. 🤣🤣🤣
WISH WE HAD DUCKS IN GA! LOVE FROG LEGGS! BUT CAN'T FIND THESE N GA EITHER UNLESS YOU GO TO FAR SOUTH GA! DEER IS ABOUT ALL WE HAVE! WOULD LOVE TO HAVE THE FOOD SUPPLY U HAVE HERE! BUT PPL HAVE BOUGHT UP ALL THE LAND HERE N GA AND UR LUCKY TO HAVE A LOT R 1 ACRE OF LAND!
Yeeesss!!! LOL I literally have dressing in the over right now and used like half the container 😂😂😂 and he's feeding 30 people I'm feeding like 10. For Thanksgiving I'm using that whole bottle at least 😂😂
I watched this while eating a bologna sandwich thinking it would make the video all the more interesting because I was a little hungry but it didn't quite work out that way. I had to set the sandwich aside, it just wasn't getting it. Now I want duck and dressing! 😏
I thought the same until I realized it’s a blessing in itself for Phil to share his recipe with the rest of the world. We’ll see the finished product when we make it ourselves.
I disagree on the sage I would put the whole bottle in I love sage. To me the sage is what makes dressing Goood. Just my humble opinion. Great recipe though I will have to try that one.
So thankful for god , phil , ms. Kay and the whole family. Salt of the earth people.
Anything Phil and Miss Kay cook will be absolutely DELICIOUS!
Made me smile when he said they sing Oh Canada , sending love from the great white north🇨🇦

Brings back fond memories of my childhood. My dad going duck hunting late fall in northern Alberta.None of us kids really liked the taste of roast wild ducks, but it was fun to see who would get the most shotgun bb's in the meat while eating
I make my dressing the same way with the exception of the can milk. I’ll be adding that next time I make dressing I bet it adds some richness

Find some water. Ducks will be there. I live in ny and we kill hundreds of ducks a year.
Looks fantastic! I have to disagree with one thing, I must “get wild” with the sage😆
