This is an absolute wonderful way to "fry" duck. The only thing I do different is I precook my brine, salt and brown sugar because it has to cool before adding birds to it. If y'all haven't done this with butter milk overnight and sour cream, you are truly missing out. Thank you so much and warmest wishes for a Blessed Christmas and coming New Year!

buttermilk overnight I'm no stranger to but I've never added sour cream to the mix. It works out well then?

It’s very good on deer backstrap, chicken and beef. Tenderize them like he did and go to town. You will be amazed. A little secret, if you use fresh oil. Always cook French fries first. We call it seasoning the oil. French fries/potatoes takes the oil taste out.

You asked why does people pluck the duck , Most people pluck there duck so they can acquire as much of the ducks flesh as possible opening up the Breast only allows you to eat the breast and makes it much harder now for you to access the other parts since there’s no body structure. But awesome recipe🖤🔥 , im curious on what happened to the thighs 😋

I only had duck once in my life when my Aunt made one for Christmas 🎄 loved it all dark meat but I couldn’t kill one someone shot a arrow into a beautiful duck 🦆 and left it my mom got it out and we nursed it back to heath and set it free sure hope it’s still living I just couldn’t see them if you served it to me like today I wouldn’t be able to eat it poor ducks 🦆 I could eat them if you didn’t show the there body’s first looked incredible.
