It's a great and well-rounded ship. it can be used for anything, some cargo, room for a Nursa, room for an ATLS, and I haven't tried putting a sub ship in it yet.
It can fit a Razor in without clipping but it’s a squeeze and not easy to do quickly. Fury might fit better but no QT then. C8R also takes a bit of grease to get in, wings clip until it’s inside etc, and it hangs over the cargo grid, so just take a Nursa 😂
The TAC is going to be leaning more towards Multi crew to shine (thanks a bit to its pitch speed). But dam it will be The Star MAX on roids. Much less cargo, but med beds and drop seats. 224 total cargo. In the rear it holds more then 64 on the grid. It takes 2 x 32scu containers AND on top of the containers you can put 4scu containers x4 on each side which is an additional 32 scu for a total of 96 scu (That is ON the grid). You add that to the 4 x 32 scu in the front total 224 scu. You CAN toss an additional 8x 8scu in the back, and stack 4scu on top of those as well off the grid, and probably fit more then that. I have easily fit 64 additional in with no bouncing around at all. You just have to use the ladder to enter and exit. Nice video I love this ship.
Couldn’t agree more. My pledge hanger is this and a Nursa both on LTI. My garage is usually filled with my Nursa, Pulse, ATLS and a ROC-DS, all without encroaching on the grid so I can still fit max cargo 😍 also if you wanted to go full cargo, you can fit another layer on top of the belly hold grid, giving you 64 SCU extra, plus the vehicle section of the garage can hold another 96 SCU, so you get to a very respectable 384 SCU without much effort 💪🏻 also, snap on the best paint 😎

Reclaiming time is also too long....Ship is good for PVE but....in many aspect outclassed by RSI Taurus.
The hab area is over sized thanks to the TACs hanger being in the same place. They seem to have taken the lazy route and just over sized eveything (like beds) to use up the space.
IMO The odd part about the Star MAX is it feel like an Explorer ship more then a cargo vessel. All thanks to the exceptional large living areas.
I think the ship looks much better without the useless wings. Also makes it a lot more compact.
How can a ship this big feel cramps. Thats the reason why I decided not to get it. 😑
Why can’t I buy this ship with real money
Its only available during certain sales like most other ships
@ how often do these sales happen?
I'll rather take the Taurus. That ship is just better
Meh, only in pilot dps.
@@OneNutSupreme also in loading and unloading. its the best ship to do it in. Going in and out its also suprime at that. its really that good compare to the starlancer max. objectively the Taurus does it best. If the Max had this cargo grid in the back fully operational maybe. Also the Taurus is faster and more agile than the MAX. Anything you have shown with exception of the 2 ursa's the Taurus is better at it.
The tractor beam on the Taurus goes a long way in separating it from the SLM
As a Taurus enjoyed im kinda jealous of slm owners. I missed it's sale.😢. All it's missing is a tractor beam inside and some quadrant shields and it'd be the new corsair
It’s not going to shine solo when engineering comes in. Especially not with combat
All fun and games, until engineering goes live.
Can’t wait to see how many people who pledge this ship go into spectrum soon and rage and complain that it gets nerfed or that they can no longer solo the ship once engineering and all these other piss poor mechanics get implemented
Gay Max - Too many faults there are better options at a lower price.
can you list your load out please? nice video by the way. and subscribed.
