Brilliant👏🏻 she knows how to express the emotions. Her Nana was a good man but she herself is a good woman filled with empathy who understands the emotions and feelings of the times when she was not even born. This is what I call a matured person. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Present generation lacks empathy.
Pakistan's separation from india broke many familes, some left with their familes but not with their home....Her story made me cry describing all that happened with the refugees. My nana and her nana almost share the same story.
Just one word "beautiful" I felt every word and could literally feel as if i knew your nana.... Not many people are so close to their grandparents but actually all our problems could be solved if only we talked to them
Partition is trauma for that generation!its difficult to understand their situation ;we lost our territory!but this story inspires to do something great in life from a scratch!
@Rabnawaz hats off to ur knowledge 🙄😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂beta pakistan tha bhi nai pehle chutya 😂😂😂😂mughal se pehle bhi logg rehte the..kabhi kuch suna bhi hai bharatwarsh ke naam se 1400 years old islam and 5000 years old bharat!!!anyway not interested in relogious comments ;!!tum jahil ho aur rahoge!
Such an emotional description. She is captivating and can make audience listen to her.The "dry day" thing was so relevant. She is pretty and smart. Her Nana is typical guy and guys are always like this, two pair of clothes are enuf,we guys never make fuss of complicated things.
I can feel this story sister. Regards and respect to your beloved Nana. Always remember that a huge part of your personality is his hard work. This is why we should be grateful to our forefathers, then only we can succeed in our lives and make it meaningful.
I have a heard soooo many stories until now, but I swear to god, this is the best story I have heard till date. Said with 100% emotions, a 'story' lived by someone, and something that's a piece from the past narated sooo well! Thanks Eisha for this story❤ ❤❤❤❤
This Video is beautiful, how she managed to turn it into stories, that depth in her voice. Beautiful. I'm from Lahore. And I wish to host someday whoever wants to see Lahore in all its Glory. Lahore's looking forward to meet you all. Regards, A Lahori.
Man that was touching..So beautifully spoken Eisha Chopra..very few have the talent to make people imagine the story while narrating it..beautiful. My heart goes for all those people who had to go through that trauma.
Even I want to visit Pakistan so much... It's as if your house has been divided into two parts and your grandparents tell you about a beautiful tree on the other side which makes you want to explore the other side of your own house.
This got me goosebumps Eisha and was so relatable as my grandfather too lived in a village near Wagha Border and later moved to Amritsar where we live presently. He told me stories about how he got separated from his friends who moved to Lahore and the letters that he used to write in Urdu. Thank you for bringing all those memories again ❤️
My grandfather died 2 year ago and still i miss him so much because he is most lovable person in my life and as a person he set the example for us how to live the life
People from both sides of the border experienced such heart wrenching situations which we could have never imagined, but thankfully now we are living as both nations wanted to live. Our ancestors sacrificed their every thing just to give us every thing . We must pray for the departed souls. And Thanks Allah for blessing us with what we have sacrificed. Love from Pakistan ❤
It really made me cry, I missed my bauji (grandfather).. Like her, m also very close to my grandfather. He also left his home. There r many similarities I found in this story & my grandfather's story. The one was that they neither got happy when they had everything nor they got sad when they had nothing. We call ourselves as cool. But I think that generation was coolest one. Because they survived the worst time .
I don't really come in the comment section and type something easily but THIS VEDIO literally you are awesome, your story is awesome, your way to tell the story is awesome, your emotions.. don't have any word to express. Just feeling blessed to see this, hear this and feel this.🌼
This is just so beautiful in the ways of expression. Its a blessing to hold on to such lovely memories, and letting the bad ones go, as its MEANT TO BE FORGOTTEN.
Two long scratches on the ground dividing a country , made countless people bleed and ages have passed but the marks of those arrogant scratches are clearly visible. Sincere sympathies from someone whose grandfather fled from his home in Chittagong , modern day Bangladesh
Esha....or Anita.....the Story was speechless.... splendid....the Human Story!! The way you took this whole waa just spectacular..... Fantastic Job Esha!! Lots of Love to an inspirational Grandpa....💓🥺 Thank You for sharing this with US
Wooow ! This is so so good . I got goosebumps at the end of it. This is an extremely personal story and you're so brave for delivering it out there. Great narrative skills. Loved it :"). Much love to you and your family
Moving by choice in life will not break you down, you may feel good or bad about decisions you made based on the outcome you didn't know at the time of making it. Move on from all miseries, don't remember those bad pasts is the best way to success and live happily and make people feel happy & laugh around you. Positivity is very important And dividing any gender, sect, land, caste, religion or people in any manner is always going to result in worst circumstances, the pain doesn't even ends at the end of the person suffered, it lasts forever until society reforms and no one is there to recall those haunted memories.
I remember the light in the eyes of my great grandfather when he tell us the story of India before partition. He was the army supplier at that time in Lahore. How happy we will be if the partition will not happen?
Omg..I just melted .. this will keep in my mind for ever.I hv read one about Khushwant Singh's grandmother , your grandfather's story is not less interesting than that....
So real ... and so powerful! also because it is not a political story, but a human story. also because they decided to get rid of the carpet without moaning the scars it took on the drive from Lahore to Amritsar. or maybe also because when he decided to say, they left, they also decided to let go of the broken glasses or maybe because, he decided not to remember what will drag him behind. or maybe simply because, as he said, he was filthy rich!
I m crying girl. My grandfather and also grandmother were victims of that day. They always remember their brother and sisters. How difficult is it when u r in India and your whole family (brothers, sisters and Mom) in other country . Even I can't live without my family for only one day.
People who have raised high from the bottom always understand & grounded to basic. Such a rich man who travelled around the world have made some 20 or more ft. lengthy things for his wife still say "Only 2 pair of trousers". 10 lacs ₹ given to the person whom he started with. I have known these kind of people and they are the people who defines the word kindness.
I have been following this channel from last couple of months and honestly, now I have started relating with the stories specially the ones related to home. I still can't say "Delhi" (Present Residence) as home because that homely feeling I get only from Kashmir though I was not even born there.

SHE SHOULD WRITE A NOVEL BASED ON HER NANA`S STORY
NAMED ``THOSE TWO TROUSERS``
Rudra Chowdhary yeah that definitely makes sense.
Yes exactly!

Indeed
Best suggestion👌👌👌
Broken things don’t always get fixed. Sometimes they just best be forgotten 💛

Rightly said, " Present does a very good job of changing the past ". ❤

Ur grandpa seemed to be a vry simple nd humble person 😊
Nd ur super proud of him 😇
There's no better way of celebrating your nana's life than by sharing it with the world!♥️ Thank you!
Nana never wanted to have a sad story attached with Lahore. A survival story worth listening and getting inspired.
Eisha you remind my grandfather's journey...No words...I am speachless🥺😭
Even I miss my Grandpa. He was the closest to me ... this really touched me . His stories too were same kind... lots of love Eishu. 🌸
Such an emotional description. She is captivating and can make audience listen to her.The "dry day" thing was so relevant. She is pretty and smart. Her Nana is typical guy and guys are always like this, two pair of clothes are enuf,we guys never make fuss of complicated things.
Here just for an Eisha Chopra speech. So gifted and knowledgeable 👏🏼
Listening this at midnight 2 o'clock was mesmerising and YEAH I CRIED !
I can feel this story sister. Regards and respect to your beloved Nana. Always remember that a huge part of your personality is his hard work. This is why we should be grateful to our forefathers, then only we can succeed in our lives and make it meaningful.
Your grandfather was such an inspiring man Eisha :). Each of his teachings are such great life lessons.
'Present is doing a great job of changing the past.'
the most successsful life is when you leave behind your tales for others to tell.
Not just a fabulous actress, but also commendable storyteller. Love your passion. 🙂
Fabulous...
She narrated her Nana's story so beautifuly... A Brilliant narrator on a human story not a political story
This is not a political story it is a human story. I cried many times. Moving home is a easy thing but leaving home is.... You can not imagine.....
The best one from the spoken festival I came across until now.
It was like i was listening to my grandfather’s story. We could never totally understand what pain partition left!
This is an utterly human story that moved me into the most beautiful human emotions, smiling with watery eyes. Loved it
I have a heard soooo many stories until now, but I swear to god, this is the best story I have heard till date. Said with 100% emotions, a 'story' lived by someone, and something that's a piece from the past narated sooo well! Thanks Eisha for this story❤ ❤❤❤❤
No word to express this story
"Beautiful , Fabulous , Fantastic"
This Video is beautiful, how she managed to turn it into stories, that depth in her voice. Beautiful. I'm from Lahore. And I wish to host someday whoever wants to see Lahore in all its Glory. Lahore's looking forward to meet you all. Regards, A Lahori.
Only tough human beings can tell unspeakable true life stories.
Man that was touching..So beautifully spoken Eisha Chopra..very few have the talent to make people imagine the story while narrating it..beautiful.

Such a heartfelt piece. I am literally moved to tears :'(
This is so heart wrenching. "THE TWO TROUSERS"
The line in the last... this is human story not a political... nailed it mam..🙏🙏
I'm from Lahore. My nana moved to Pakistan from India, Jalandhar Punjab. This story made me cry.💕✌
And that broken things don't always get fixed .. so sometimes they are just best at forgotten - this line 😍
Hmm she said very well "Present does a very good job of changing the past" 👏🏻👏🏻
It is really deep....and the way she portrayed it is tremendous..!!
Her way of expressing the things specially took me here in the comment section,💞

There were so many people like ur nana..whose stories we havent heard..and i think no need to..un dinon log aise hi the...so true so human...
I heard similar from my maternal Grandfather and Grand mother.
Politics can destroy many people's life.
So real ... and so powerful! also because it is not a political story, but a human story.
also because they decided to get rid of the carpet without moaning the scars it took on the drive from Lahore to Amritsar.
or maybe also because when he decided to say, they left, they also decided to let go of the broken glasses
or maybe because, he decided not to remember what will drag him behind.
or maybe simply because, as he said, he was filthy rich!
I got chills watching this legit chills, just so so many emotions it holds man .
I m crying girl. My grandfather and also grandmother were victims of that day. They always remember their brother and sisters. How difficult is it when u r in India and your whole family (brothers, sisters and Mom) in other country . Even I can't live without my family for only one day.

not a political story.. hats off to you ma'am...☺️

Her presentation skill is so good that I can feel the story happening in front of my eyes just like a movie.
