We actually have a storytelling artform in kerala which is exactly like this.it is called kathaprasangam.i could see no difference except the language and the instruments used

I've seen how bad people's lives when they are old. At some point or the other, when your parents die and your siblings and friends have their own families, you are nobody's priority. For how long can a person live alone, knowing they are not needed or wanted in anybody's life? It can end a person. Remember, a PhD does not give you happiness, family and people do.

And divorce rates are growing day by day. And no one should get married at least before having a good job and being financially dependent.

This is brilliant and I must say, even if I am not coming from Indian traditions- we have similar mentalities going on in Albania. It is great to see how she transferred her message into this performance. 🙏 I have been through some things with family concerning just the topics that you mentioned. The way out to your freedom is only to be reached with love and truth. Speaking the truth of you to your family and everyone in society around you, is the most beautiful thing you can do to you. Sure it comes with consequences and it doesnt come as easy as ice cream-licking - but isn't the biggest crime the one to ourselves if we neglect what we desire? I chose to not fall back into that pattern and am growing towards creating a life of truth, love and harmony. Eventually your closest, mother and father, love you from the bottom of their heart, they really do. And when they see you stayed strong to your truth. And when they see you get happy with that, and you find/created a way for you to live well and happy, well guess what? They won't ever let you go, bc they love you. And if they can open their heart- then they will also learn to love you with your imagination of how the world looks.
