Top 5 Things - CHICHEN ITZA

This is a full tour of Chichen Itza with a tour guide. We started in Cancun on a bus tour. Chichen Itza is a 2 1/2 hour bus ride to the west into the Yukatan. Most of the bus tours that originate in Cancun will have a stop along the way to Chichen Itza and another stop coming back, possibly stopping at San Servacio Catholic Church in Valladolid. Our bus went there coming back at Valladolid coming back.
On bus tour stopped at a large giftshop in Chichen Itza which also served a lunch buffet and we stopped at a Cenote. Make sure you take a swim suite and a towell if you want to swim at the cenote. You will also need cash to rent a lifevest.
We had 2 tour guides who did a great job. Miguel is grew up in the town of Chichen Itza and is Mayan. We learned about the human sacrificing, archeology, astrology, Kulkulcan (feathered snake god), and so much more. Make sure to take some cash to buy souveniers at this famous Mayan Pyramid.
