  • Kukulkan, also known as Quetzalcoatl to the Aztecs, Ehecatl, Gucumatz to the Quiche, A Mayan group located in modern day Guatemala, was the feathered serpent deity of Mayan mythology. He is prominent in many Mesoamerican cultures. He was particularly important for the Yucatec Mayan, but for all Mesoamericans, Kukulkan was a creator god who also brought rain and winds.

    Love Mayan and Aztec mythology a subject not discussed as much as Egyptian or Greek mythology. Don't think people understand how enriched and complex the Mayan and Aztec Pantheon of gods really is

      Sorry I’m late but this has been a big problem for the last couple years; around the same time all those movie recap videos started getting me popular; they’re all made from “ad farms” in the east where it’s a couple accounts run by one person that make ai synopses of whatever topic it is and the owner of the channels just fills in the video with random no copyright clips. It’s gotten really bad now with how fast Ai is growing to the point you really only need a prompt on what you want the video to be and it will pop something like this out.
      TLDR: None of these kinds of videos are made by real people; just Chinese ai advertising/view farms

Up north of Mexico is where the culture starts to disappear but down south is where the culture was really at. Mexico and Guatemala has a lot in common like it or not.

    Quetzalcóatl pronunciation- KET TZAL CÓ @.
    The L in the end of any word if comes after a T, is omitted in the nahuatl language. That's why you can make the exact sound as @ at. Even the word Náhuatl is a good example;
    NáU@/NáUat. H is omitted if comes after a vowel letter, but also, the U carries the sound than in english is obtained by spelling two O letters one after another.
    Ket is the sound of Quet .
    Tzal is the sound of Zal. And Co-@, or; Có at, is the sound of; Cóatl.
    My pleasure!

      I'm just trying to help with the pronunciation because I know Náhuatl language is a little harder than Spanish for english speakers, and the way I do is using letters, which in English sound the most accurate possible to the correct pronunciation of the subject in the original language.
      If I write Quetzalcóatl in the way that it sounds when is spelled by a english speaking person, I would write down like this;
      Cooet zal quato.
      Same being with a different name(and language);
      Kukulkán although is way easier, it would be Ku cool cán.

    I have met an Alien, he was a Serpent God, i think hes the same Serpent Deity that lived in The Plumed Serpent, The Winged Serpent, The Feathered Serpent, Quetzalcoatl, Kukulkan, Hermes ect, i believe he came to me in his original form... he presented him self as "I am The Serpent God", it terrified me and i was finding it hard to believe what was happening was real, we got to the part about why he was here, he said he liked me because he thought i was perfect, i found this hard to believe because of the failures in my life, so i asked him why he thought that and he explained/showed me that everything in my life happened for a reason and that he was tormenting/controlling someone i know called Russell that i thought was the cause of this mess i was in, while he was telling me this he showed me an image of Russell with his back turned towards us with his head down like he was sad and the serpent was looking over him, he said "Russell isnt perfect" so he did not like him because his life didnt happen for a reason.
    I have seen this serpent in a dream years before i met him irl, he was huge like 10-30 meters big with a dragon head and was levitating in mid air, he was constructing the Egyptian Pyramids and teleported me inside into the middle at the top of one and was sliding huge minibus sized blocks into place with his mind, he was letting me know all this without telling me. when i met him in real life he was a smaller version in a green hologram about a meter long floating there in my room, but where i truely saw him for his full self i think was my imagination he alterd so i could see it infront of me like a movie, he was so animated and expressive like a Disney cartoon villain he sounded exactly the way you would imagine a serpent to speak, his voice sounded a little bit electric and he was definitely a male, its hard to explain or mimic but if you heard him you would think that it fits him.
    I realized he only liked perfect things, which is why i honestly believe he built them pyramids because they where perfect so if anyone did, it was him. I could also communicate with him telepathically without even having to come up with words to explain he could just read my mind, he controlled my mind and made me look at the wall then used my vision disturbances to show me a human figure with these over grown Beatles with antennas hanging onto her he said was my ex girl friend being raped by aliens, he also taught me a lesson to think and look forward so i could focus in the manic state i was in and if i slipped up or did something wrong like check in with voices from other directions he would go arrrgh like a irritated growl sort of thing and when i did something right he would say "perfect" (he said this alot).
    I got the vibe he wanted me to like him since he picked the two people i most disliked at the time, i also want to add when he was controlling me i felt a headache/dull/sickness feeling and i couldnt think outside the box like he was blocking my mind from stopping him doing this. i also heard during this episode (after he left) by voices he was controlled by aliens, he was extremely quick and smart replying with perfect instant answers and i hope to meet him again one day it was one of the most amazing things iv ever experienced.
    I made a video of him, its the closest picture to resembling what he looks like - th-cam.com/video/VxQN2R6NplU/w-d-xo.html

      Interesting comment! I truly believe your experience was legit, if you don't mind I would like to tell you about the One and Only True God creator of this entity you met, otherwise known as Lucifer, a fallen angel who was once a High Ranking entity in the Heavenly realm of God who was cast out for rebelling against his creator. If you care to know and believe with an open mind, pick up a Bible and read the first book of Genesis and you will find out why he called you perfect! You see in God's eyes we were the perfect creation to be just like our Creator God! We are spiritual beings caught up in a spiritual war between 2 entities or aliens as you would say, God and Satan or Lucifer, also referred to as a Serpent or Great Dragon which is where most of these other religions or mythology get there ideas from, trust me it ain't no myth, if you read the last Book of the Bible which is called Revelation you will also see more description of this entity you met. But here is the ringer, God is in full pursuit of his most precious possession and that is you and I which in turn the other entity wants you to believe he has your best interest in mind and has deceived many in believing you are your own god and don't need anything or anyone! It just so happened that we fell out of perfection because we made a poor choice which brought eternal death to what was made perfect and that choice was "Sin" which was the sales pitch we bought from the lie that was given to us in the beginning of that first book in the Bible if you dare to read it. In conclusion God wants to redeem his prized possession and restore us back to a perfect state but the only way it could be done is by accepting His one and only perfect sacrifice Jesus Christ his son. Who came into this cursed earth and lived a perfect life, died in turn for our poor choice and makes us Right again in God's sight! Forgiven made new once more! But Lucifer or these other entity don't want you or I to know that because they will face a coming judgement where they will be eternally damned and tormented forever! Along with anyone else who rejects this opportunity as they did when they rebelled against God. I pray this brings enlightenment to you

    In chichinitza The sacrifices were only done as teen children would race across the fields from the playing fields to the pillars. Each piillars is the burial place of a sacrificial life, sacrifice of the winer, and they were usually lower class teens and the families of the winning teen would be the lifted to high class living as it was an honor to be sacrificed for many generation of that teens family. Sacrifices were not as it was seen on everyone may think. The Wayans were not a warrior race. Mayans are very small people. They were farmers and mathematicians. Yes, there were warriors but farmer warriors who worked all year round to live and trade. Sacrifices were only done when the red moons would arrive and shine through the two chambers as a symbol that Kukulkan was coming to provide for the mayan farmers. It's a beautiful, spiritual place to visit. I recommend it. Lots of energy and spirituality flowing through the area. It's a beautiful yet very hot place to visit.

    Yo Thanks for the Video, it’s well composed and has cool illustrations.
    I wonder if the 91 X 3 + 92 was a motif for leap years 🤔❔
    Another cool detail: The stone blocks establish acoustic intervals that mimic the sound of a resplendent quetzal bird, which looks like a winged serpent. It’s interesting that Quetzal is a serpent-like bird and coatl means serpent, so there is a redundancy and emphasis on the snake like quality of Quetzalcoatl, the feathered serpent.
    Given there is an ocean on either side separating America from Africa & Europe, how fascinating it is that the Hebrew religion considers the serpent a symbol of wisdom; a snake is a nearly blind creature which has to stay low to the ground. Quetzalcoatl was a healer and teacher, somewhat similar to Thoth of Egypt, who taught the arts of healing, magic, and thaumaturgy. The trickster god of commerce & communication, Mercury, wields a winged serpent staff. There is an overlay between solar gods as well, given the significance of the equinox and the Sun’s path of diminishment and renewal, the promise of his inevitable return. Another fascinating detail: snakes move by oscillating in a fashion that resembles frequency, somewhat like a plucked guitar string.
    It’s funny that they considered our movement astronomically snake-like, oscillating to and fro in the precession of the equinoxes and the dance of an elliptical revolving body of the heavens.

    Revelation 12:9
    9 The great dragon was hurled down-that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him.
    That's why you see serpent symbolism around the world today in many different ancient cultures.

    I know much more about the Aztec version of this god and his role in the creation of humans, than the Maya version. I think he is a creator god in the Maya religion too? Also, when you say the words for sky and snake have the same pronunciation in English and Mayan, does that mean the Mayan words for those things sound the same spoken as the English words "sky" and "snake", or that the way English speakers pronounce the Mayan language words is in fact the correct Mayan pronunciation? Great video!

    • @LegendsandMyths444
      @LegendsandMyths444  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      In the Mayan language sky is pronounced Kan, whereas Chikchan translates to snake, so they both kinda sound similar

      Depends on the dialect some say kan to mean snake hence the term kukul CAN = feathered serpent, but some refer to serpents as chan rather than kan. Who knows which one is the original way to say it. Also Mayan have the K’ with the ‘ right in front of k and that creates a glottal stop almost sounding like the click sounds in the South African language called Xhosa. So who knows if it’s kan or k’an to distinguish between sky and snake. 🤔 I’m not a Mayan speaker but I have researched the language a bit
