Awesome job mate. I'd let those alternate picking licks on e and b go on for a bit longer; manually sustain them by fully playing them out relative to the time signature - makes the phrase sound more full. Pretty much nailed it mate, sounded amazing!

Jimmy page copied that. But, the gear is also important, purple rain without reverb and chorus does not sound very well,.
They call it chicken picking. Buckethead is very good at it. You’re basically using both the pick (with thumb and index finger) and your middle or ring finger to make a higher string ring and alternate between both. You’ll find plenty of tutorials on TH-cam.
thanks!! but really sorry mate, this tone was recorded in those 14-day trial, I can't open it again. If you have dsp soldano, you can start from the default, I think I didn't change it alot to get this tone, that's a really good plugin!

Amazingly I was at that show in 2002 and almost crashed my car in the snow driving back to college from it at 2:00 in the morning.
This might be my favorite guitar solo of all time, and you absolutely crushed it, dude. Phenomenal job!

The tempo they gave to this song in 2002 was amazing, definitely the bests Nightrain live versions are with Buckethead in.
