or a way to support your ankles and entire legs so that your running posture can be best meshed with the thrusters output (not sure how much you can modify these "rockets" into "thrusters" without running into more burn issues..ANYWAY..). Student´s t-test requires at least a sample size of 10 group to work (if I remember correctly, which I might not but I´m too lazy to look it up) so your three runs won´t really be enough... ;D

Allen Pan - Sufficiently Advanced Take one apart, you'll see the boundary line pretty clearly. The ejection charge is grey, the clay plug is green, and the rocket fuel is black. The grey stuff is flash powder and will burn your knuckle hairs right the fuck off
I think the only way for this to work is to have LEGIT rockets inbedded into your legs, cuz if you look at how iida runs during the training in season three, the instances where he lifts his legs for each step, he is allowing the rocket to carry him forward for a second, and hes pushing down with his other leg at the same time with brute strength
The biggest issue I see with them is that you waste a lot of the rocket's runtime due to having to keep your leg in one spot during your stride. If you could make a system that fired a short burst every time your leg came forward, but stops when your foot hits the ground, then you wouldn't waste any propulsion.
Most companies trying this are doing it on the waist. I think it’s because with those rockets on the legs themselves you’re pushing against them to then push against the ground so even though you get pushed forward a bit you also have to push against them so it kind of equals out
Watching your videos has convinced me of one thing. I'm glad I didn't go to school to become an engineer. Who needs it? Just slap whatever rockets on your legs! Voila! I'm an engineer! Honestly, this is the kinda stuff I did as a teenager.
I mean, if you really want to get into it (on a strictly basic, high-school level) for probability, then your significance test doesn't actually mean anything because you failed to follow standard procedure which is: making sure that your data was obtained through a randomized experiment and since this is a t-test for a mean you also need more than 30 samples. Independence can probably be ignored in this case though. so you met 1/3 of the necessary conditions.

You are probably not gonna read this, because i'm late but the t-test with 0.05 ain't that bad that is a trend you are observing, but for real significance you need to increase the number of tests. So you would need to do this quiet often. Anyways I love your rocket leg tests and that you keep it sciency!

Nope, 2-30 should suffice, and past 30 the t-distribution is basically just the normal distribution.
