From what I’ve seen, it doesn’t look like that’s too bad to do. Yeah, I think next time I’m gonna just do a screen record or set the camera up on a tripod. I was trying to hold it to show the screen, but that was a pain in the butt.
Are you considering adding the cup holder light and the glove box light/media bin light to this one too? I got a 23 tremor, and I just got the cup holder light part, glove box, and media light parts along with the wire harness that John sells from F-150 Forums to make it plug and play. I would love to see a tutorial to make sure I do it right ahahah! Shame that they don’t come anymore in the trucks bc I feel like it makes them look less luxury than the 21 models.
@@Livefreewhileucan depends on if you already have the heated steering wheel or not. if you have a higher trim level in it already has the heated steering wheel installed. The SCCM was around 60 bucks, and you can add a soft touch button on the screen, using forscan if you want. But if you want the air conditioner controls with the temperature display and the button on it like I have here that’s about 300 bucks. You still have to use forscan to activate the heat steering wheel and set it up as to pick it in the video. You just also have to look at the forscan spread sheet and enable sync unreal theme and the heated SW soft touch button if you got he cheap route. I think in total I spent around 400 bucks on my Platinum and it already had the wheel. I just wanted my factory heated steering wheel option back.

@@Livefreewhileucan doesn’t matter if it was deleted or not you can still add it. It just makes it a lot easier if you pull the airbag off and the cow the steering column and look to see if you have the wiring already in place. If the wiring is already there like I show in the video it’s easy. If the wiring is not there already, you can still do it. You just have to run a wire over to the BCM plug. I think it’s in the passenger side foot well. I think there were people on the F150 forum, selling a harness already made with the connectors on it.
It will. You will just need a custom harness to supply power from the BCM to the SCCM. You will also need a new SCCM and a heated steering wheel. Forscan changes are required as well.

good video, I have to run a power wire from BCM because my Lariat 501A didn't come with a htd steering wheel. Computer screen wasn't always visible

Maybe interested in the glove box light where did you say you get the harness? Who is John?

You think this would work on an XLT trim?
Idk. I know you can add it on a lariat. I would assume if you have the 10 in sync system it would. Check the f150 forms on that.
