2011 Ford F550-SCCM & clock spring R&R-washers inop

Hey guy today I went through the WSM diag for washers inop, had 2 replace the steering column control module to repair. Retested and all is good.

I had the same issue with a 2011 F-150 Lariat and had to replace the SCCM. Took down to the deal and had it programmed. Now I've got the windshield washer working again.

If I install this at home does it need to be reprogrammed? Or can I do it and no worries. Also is the BCM the same as installing and having it reprogrammed. Or can I just swap them. I’m having trouble with my blinkers. Passenger side has 9v doesn’t change to blink and the constant 12v and ground. The 9v is supposed to fluctuate but doesn’t. How ever my mirror and tail light work. Blinking wise.

@@PowerStrokeTechTalkwARod will the truck still start and run without programming the SCCM after it gets replaced? I will look and see if my scanner can program the module before I start the teardown. My turn signal switch got broke and broke the housing reason for replacement. Thanks in advance.

Does that include the steering angle sensor?
