I've walked on the famous unfinished obelisk. It was awesome. But I went right past Minya without knowing about it. Thanks for the tour. There's so much to see of ancient Egypt. It's overwhelming.
Thank you that was very interesting. I would really enjoying seeing that for myself one day. I personally find it just is interesting as the valley of the Kings. 👍😁
You need to do a better filming. We could see much, just got an overall impression. When you film, plan out what you are showing, i.e. the cut into the bedrock, couldn't see tool marks, could appreciate the depths, could see the carved outline of the giant, etc.
If the ancient Egyptians built this then why is it not finished? What happened to the people that built them? And why has all the salt removed from all the sites?
Fascinating but until now no one knows how they will stand and travel it🤔😓...Even the geniuses of scientist nor the hundreds of archeologist does not know until now
No statue, no obelisk. It is all melted buiildings. 4:51 partialy buried door and window 6:48 they are not tooling marks but striation marks caused by heat damage 8:45 omg. that's cooked out. not a quarry.
Thank you for covering this, no one covers this topic and it’s super important, it’s massive!
Love all this stuff, ancient architecture and building techniques are Impressive to say the least, thanks for posting

Спасибо огромное!!! Супер эксклюзивное видео!
10:23 no sure of an Obelisk out of limestone; this looks like monolitic slabs/ brics, you can see the cuts with relativly the same height
Im jealous you get t see all these places 1st hand, your living MY best life 😂😂😂😂
Interesting how the material was removed
There are similar unfinished obelisk and colossus 10km north of here. Were you able to check it out?
Unfortunately not. I only visited this place and Zawyet Sultan. There's much more to discover in this area.
I have been in Minya Malawi And Amarna......
Wow alright!!
Where are the indications that this was meant to be a statue? Looks like a quarry to me where small blocks were chiseled from the surface.

There are diagrams in hieroglyphics showing how they moved them and plenty of plausible explanations for how they stood them up.
