- In the early morning, Chris set off for the Red Pyramid and thus had the unique opportunity to explore the massive pyramid all alone. The Red Pyramid is located in Dahshur, about 20 km south of the Pyramids of Giza. It stands at a height of 104 meters, with a base of 220x220m, making it the third largest pyramid in Egypt.
What makes this structure so mysterious is the fact that only three chambers have been found, all of which look almost identical. Nothing has been found inside, and its true purpose remains completely unknown. Also, the exact position of the three chambers within the pyramid is not conclusively determined, as it is still very difficult to determine the height of the chambers in relation to the ground level. Some claim that the rooms are at the same level as the base of the pyramid, while others assume they are up to 3 meters higher.
As with all pyramids in Egypt, the passages and corridors connecting the rooms are very narrow, and one must bend down to pass through. What could be the reason for this? We also wonder why the entire pyramid is covered with wooden floors. Is there something to hide here?
As you can see, the third chamber can only be reached with the help of modern staircase construction. Without it, it would be impossible to access this space. What could be the purpose of these rooms and architecture? Given the fact that nothing has been found inside and there are no hieroglyphs or inscriptions, it feels more like a giant machine fulfilling a technical purpose. According to Egyptologists, it is, of course, a burial site, although no mummy or corpse has ever been found in any Egyptian pyramid.
Is it possible that the third chamber holds some answers to these questions?

You can even see the opposed door sides to confuse diggers in case it was sealed, which it was not. At 7:03, those are for sure previously excavated layers. You can see that the original passage wasn't heigh enough for previous treasure hunters to excavate what you have considered a 'previous building'. The weathering you've mentioned is a desperate move from them since they couldn't find another room, so they followed the passage at your bottom right hand. 7:13
