Me fascina A-HA, Bravo!!!👏👏👏💖
Love this song, love the oboe, the lyrics, Morten‘s high notes and the orchestra members of the Royal Albert Hall enjoying themselves at this concert. Thank you for reacting to it and thank you Kari for requesting it.
So nice to come to your channel for my two favourite artists! (A-ha and Voiceplay 😉). Morten is 51 here... incredible... this is a beautiful song from the Hunting High and Low album. They have such a vast body of work... loads to go! They always write deep (and melancholic) songs with beautiful, almost uplifting/euphoric melodies.. awesome juxtaposition. Thanks for this! 🌹🕊
I was about to attend that RAH gig together with my wife and cousin but missed it.We wanted this so much, they played material from their first 2 fantastic albums. We finally watched them same year in UK Wembley November 2010.A marvelous gig in freezing London.
THANK YOU to the requester ! I stumbled on this live show this a few months ago ... It's a good one ! The album studio version also has an intensity of slow build that SOARS at the end ... as he's singing " Ah Ha " ... Loved this album and song when it came out ... Their debut album this song is from ' Hunting high and low ' has a few songs with cheeky lyrical easter eggs referring to the band ...
A song that always made me wonder why the oboe isn't used more in modern music. Claire Jarvis on the album recording perfectly set the tone for this song with its melancholic tone.
the album this is from, HUNTING HIGH AND LOW, is phenominal. if you loved this haunting tune, the album title song is even better, my most favourite of a-ha. yearning, melodic, melancholy but hopeful - it is amazing and should be your next reaction ❤
Thank you again, Saeed! A-ha's debut album has gone down in history as a very strong debut album. The album is so full of good songs that this song was not allowed to become a single. Their second album, which many consider their best, showed that the band was not at all a boy band playing light pop music for girls, as many believed. Which actually led to me, being a young girl at the time, writing them off as too serious for me. While he was waiting for Magne to finish high school, Pål/Paul read a bookshelf of classical literature in English and poetry from a 60-year-old Norwegian, award-winning female poet who suffered from depression in order to gain inspiration and become able to write lyrics with the quality he sought. "Living a boys adventure tale" with its soaring vocals, caught the attention of Coldplay's Chris Martin, and became the direct reason why he chose to pursue a career as a singer. He himself says that without a-ha there would be no Coldplay.
This song is one that resonates with me on many levels. Love it. Thanks for sharing a bit about the background. And that is amazing Chris Martin was inspired by them.
@@SaeedReacts. He is not the only one. Several other international artists say that a-ha has been a great inspiration for them, such as Keane, Oasis, Adam Clayton from U2 and Kanye West.
One of those songs that just takes you away. Dude, adventure take book recommendation: The Walking Drum by Louis L'Amour. Seriously, read it if you haven't!
Essa canção é como uma prece, eleva a alma.❤
This song literally kills me !!!
I love it !!

Definitely a song that speaks to me! Great performance too. Thanks for watching!
My pleasure. The musicians belong to the Oslo Philharmonic. A-ha flew them over for the occasion.

Magnificent version... I suggest you react to the studio version which is just incredible, especially Morten's "ahah.." which are just a treat.
Will give the studio version a listen.
