Welcome to my channel! This is a music reaction channel. For the longest time, I've loved creating content on the internet. I started off with a gaming channel right here on TH-cam, which eventually turned into a Twitch gaming channel, but as time has gone on I've evolved into doing other things on TH-cam. For years now I've wanted to create a music channel on TH-cam, and recently just figured "why not?", so it’s time to give this a go! Give me any suggestion you have for music reactions, and I will do my best to get around to them. As music has fallen further out of my life, I figured this would be a great time to get reintroduced to music.

Glenn Shorrock is the lead singer. He wrote this song after years of touring with LRB, feeling the frustration of having so little free time, and having to be so organised. He left the band not long afterwards. Reminiscing is a beautiful ballad, Help is on its Way is one of their really big hits.

LRB was all over the radio in that 78-81 timeframe I suppose. I was 18-21 years old. Outstanding songs, brilliant musicianship.
My dad was also dying of cancer then, wow what a beautiful and heartbreaking time!! OMG.
Looking forward to seeing them in concert in a couple of weeks

I got an album with this song on it in the early 80s. I played this song over and over and over until I could sing it verbatim. I love it! In fact, Little River Band is just awesome. If you have not listened to lonesome loser, that should be on your list next for them.
So we had a family member murdered in the 1980s. He got shot by a guy who just wanted to watch somebody die. Had he lived, our family member would have gone up the gangplank onto a US Navy aircraft carrier the very next day. He loved the sea. So, we get a very different vibe than most when hearing this great tune. Thanks Shawn.

LRB's "Lonesome Loser" is one of my biographical songs, I even used it as a username every so often, so I highly suggest it if you have not reacted to it yet. Also, "Reminiscing" is a great smooth vibe that you will definitely dig.

Little River Band is a great soft rock band from Australia. You've done a few of their songs already. They had a lot of great hits especially in the 70's-80's such as "Reminiscing", "Happy Anniversary", "Lonesome Loser", "Help Is On Its Way", "Take It Easy On Me", "The Other Guy", "We Two" etc.

Crazy story about LRB, basically the band legal rights to the name got stolen away from all the original Australian members by some American guy who is touring now as "Little River Band" playing all their old songs. 😕
