I had a whole other video planned for tonight but hopefully it’ll be released on Wednesday or Thursday (due to copyright issues) anyways, hope y’all enjoy this video!
What kind of filter are you using to make your eyes so beautiful? "Lady" from Little River Band or the ultimate yacht rock song is "Sailing" by Christopher Cross would be great choices for you to react to.
Joe...awh when you were a little boy...oh I was too..haha. My fav was Karen Carpenter...it's all I could do is listen to her and this great music on my headphones to get away from a horrible...but still got the beatings.....
It warms my heart to see a young person today loving this sort of music. I was in my 20's in the early days of this century blasting their greatest hits CDs and it was "older" music then.
Great song from my high school years, thanks always brings back memories of winter time on a date kissing and cold noses touching, magical, now in my 60s , life goes so so fast, thanks!
Hi Lizzie, This is definitely a "Gangster Hippie Vibe!!!" #1 Song on the Billboard Chart September 1978!!! Excellent reaction & analysis by you my friend, well done!!!
Late 70s, high school dance on Friday nights waiting for a slow song to grab a girl to dance with - what a time for slow dancing....I miss those days/nights....
Beautiful sister I love the little river band when they came out 8n the 70s they are a smooth band you will like them too...I was 16 back then ...music was very magical back then...black people were more natural black women where more open and caring in those days.
I'm 65 years old and I go way back with a good chance I could flood this girl with so much music she wouldn't believe how much good music she's missing out on or that she hasn't heard yet
I've had a bad day, and vibing with Miss Lizzie is exactly what I need to make everything alright. I don't think anyone can see your gorgeous smile and not smile right along with you. Much love, as always. ♥♥♥
He was talking about a “life-time plan.” Not something girls hear very often anymore, unfortunately! Took me a while to find a man like that (and many misses), but I’m thankful for him! 😊 Thanks for the song reaction!
What's going on Liz? Another great 70's band "The Little River Band", Reminiscing love that song a deep meaning for me, great lyrics, harmony and music what else could you ask for in a #1 song in 78! CHEF'S KISS !! Well my Dear your take care and stay safe! Vibe Squad Out!
❤This takes me back to 78 when i was 12 school was ending and this song came on the car radio ride home. My dad is gone now Rip 🌹 They have many hit songs since.
A true blast from the past. A great song from a great band. Their biggest hit was "Lonesome Loser" which is also one of my biographical songs of my life. Love it when seeing "young-uns" enjoying and appreciating songs that we grew up on.
I think this was their biggest hit-it got to number one on the Billboard Hot 100 in '78, I don't think "Lonesome Loser" ever hit number one, or number two, even. Good song though.
When I was sick and home from school, my mom would play an AM radio station that had this group on heavy rotation. Cannot forget the memories behind this. Thank you for this...and yes, I am a new sub!
This is another peaceful and relaxing video posted by Lizzie The Gangster Hippie. You always look great in your videos, Lizzie. "Reminiscing" by The Little River Band is a perfect match for your persona. Yacht Rock is a very pleasant genre. "Call On Me" by Chicago would be another great addition to your Yacht Rock playlist, Lizzie. It would set the mood for your channel and 'The Stuffed Squad'. Thank you for posting a peaceful and relaxing 8:03, Lizzie.
"Reminiscing" was played quite often when it was released. Back then I was extremely busy. My days were made so much better listening to this song when I was driving out to a project.
Two stepping my ass off ha ha just beautiful music that puts a smile on the hardest person notice he said a life time plan not a one night stand difference between now an then
I really enjoy watching the younger people enjoying the music I grew up with. It was a great time to grow up with a vast of amount of different music. Glenn Shorrock has such an easy listening voice.
It’s true that when your young life seems to be a never ending world, until you mature and those close to your age, leave this world, and your kids are grown, that you realise it is not infinite …..and that my friend is when you realise that you have to enjoy all the moments you can……and reminisce too on the years before. I do love some LRB…. I am subscribed to Shorrock Birtles Goble Little River Band Founders YT page…… the lead singer here is Glenn Shorrock, and the YT page also features Beeb Birtles and Graeham Goble. I am also on Roger McLaughlin’s page who at one stage was their base player. Their harmonies are second to none. 🎉🎉🎉🎉

Do "take it easy on me" by them.
loving your 'takes' kiddo. Hope you are well, sending love from Maine, all the best to you
I was a little boy when this song was a monster hit on the radio. Songs like this one shaped me as an incurable romantic.
Joe...awh when you were a little boy...oh I was too..haha. My fav was Karen Carpenter...it's all I could do is listen to her and this great music on my headphones to get away from a horrible...but still got the beatings.....
This song was made by those who loved what they were doing, and knew how to do it well...

Underrated band...lead vocalist is very good...this song got a lot of radio play back in the day....i love your hair and reaction.😊
They weren't underrated.
Late 70s, high school dance on Friday nights waiting for a slow song to grab a girl to dance with - what a time for slow dancing....I miss those days/nights....

They have so many hits. Follow the LRB rabbit hole.
So great!! They have many good old songs! Suggest Lady, Cool Change, Lonesome Loser, Night Owl. Ambrosia’s twin city!!
I've had a bad day, and vibing with Miss Lizzie is exactly what I need to make everything alright. I don't think anyone can see your gorgeous smile and not smile right along with you.
Much love, as always. ♥♥♥
I was 5-15 years old during the '70's. This was a big hit. There was SO much great, groovy pop music in the '70s.
"Little River Band" had some of the tightest vocal harmonies of any soft rock band out there.
He was talking about a “life-time plan.” Not something girls hear very often anymore, unfortunately! Took me a while to find a man like that (and many misses), but I’m thankful for him! 😊 Thanks for the song reaction!

Hi Lizzie!!! Help Is On the Way, Lonesome Loser, Cool Change, Take It Easy On Me, The Night Owls, and Lady are awesome by The Little River Band❤❤❤
I second this!

One of my favs ... growing up. Great band too.
A great Australian Band, very underrated!
This reminds me a little bit of Steely Dan, somewhat jazzy, good song!
Hi Liz: Gino Vannelli - "Brother to Brother," or "I Just Wanna Stop."
This makes me want to twirl around and dance all night! 💃💃💃💃💃 legendary song and band
John Farnham’s live Reminiscing with LRB (1982) is sublime with improvised jazz moments & audience interaction
Love them! Great reaction! Love the Cole Porter reference (Night and Day)
Imagine A lot of us lived through these songs in 70s ❤
brings me right back to my childhood. God i love this song!
This is a homage to the Big Band era. John Lennon said this was one of his favorites. If you haven’t listened to Lennon, try Woman or Jealous Guy.
First, I have loved this song for a very long time. A lot of their music. Loge your hair style it fits you your very beautiful.
Lady should be the next. You’ll love it!
👍👍💯💯
I was just about comment LADY when I saw your comment !!😊
Was going to say the same! 😊
@@melaniewells9934 great minds think alike!! ❤️

I love this song. I was 17 and a junior in high school when this song was released. It played at school dances. It brings back sweet memories.

Love this one. Reminds me of my husband and our going n 42 years.❤
I've loved Little River Band since the 70's, great song and many more hits to choose from! Thank you!
First comment -- great band! I love Take it Easy on Me, and Help is on Its Way
I heard you say I shouldn't have played this or something like that early in the song! I could tell it just hit you in that sweet spot! ❤
I would use just one word to describe this song and that word is SOPHISTICATED!
Another classic, as I recall that cut wa also popular in the disco dance scene as well, slow dance of course. 😎✌
Thank you, Liz!!
They have a greatest hits album. Yes they have a lot of great songs.
You should check out FM by Steely Dan
LIZ!!! Did you say ''yacht rock''? I'm all in. Loved this one BTW. My first suggestion would be ''Lowdown'' by Boz Scaggs.
If she listens to lowdown I'm going to lose my mind
"Reminiscing" was played quite often when it was released. Back then I was extremely busy.
My days were made so much better listening to this song when I was driving out to a project.

Lizzie is just too cute!
It was 1979, I was getting out of the US ARMY. The music is at that time, for me. Way cool. Lol
LRB - IT'S A LONG WAY THERE (EXTENDED VERSION).. it's a masterpiece
Moonlight Feels Right by Starbuck!
