Depends how old the kids are, but the break wall is starting to fish really well for big bream and may even snag a decent flathead or you can spin for tailor and jewfish. The Forster boat harbour is always a good spot to find solid numbers of bream and the occasional flathead and is small kid friendly with all the different piers
It's the older FL model. Really enjoying the 1000 sizing and the new FM has InifintyXross so should handle the bigger fish even better then the older FL and last a bit longer

Ay mate is that the new stradic FM reel your using ,, , what do you think of the reel i am thinking of buying one
