    I've learned a lot from these videos. Saved myself a small fortune doing it myself rather than pay for someone else to do it for me.

    Excellent tutorial video for the DIYers ! Obviously the professional joiners will use special jigs and power tools. But if you fit a door handle only now and then , this is really good.

    Thank you for the you tube videos! I have so far produced some pretty impressive woodwork ( Im no DIY expert) and saved money on getting a tradesman in, so therefore, i am able to do more work with better quality materials! Excellent chaps, keep up the great vids!

    Do you have a video showing how to hang the door itself? Couldn't find one? These videos are excellent - I'm looking forward to building the interior of my house using these as a guide!

    I like that hardware better than what we use here in the US. We have to drill a monstrous 2 1/8" diameter hole that takes most of the strength out of a panel door frame.

    are you able to replace these type of door handles with a door handle and lock easily?

    Really good video, but I would agree with not using a flat bit, I did and I have a pine panel door which means that the bit would probably show through the panel if I drilled it to the correct depth. I was cautious and chiselled the last bits. I'd also add that chiselling is not as easy as he shows!

    Use an Auger bit instead of a flat bit.

  • @Joecook1234
    @Joecook1234 7 ปีที่แล้ว +12

    No... it's fine, just scratch the new handle with the chuck of your drill when you drill it

  • @Danechip
    @Danechip 12 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Ah, this was as funny as anything. Where do you get one of those "Approved by Tommy" shirts? That was as rough as anything, especially using the same 24 bit to cut the holes for the handles. Thinking about it, I've always used a 22mm to fit those locks, although i've never had 1" thick spindles to cater for :D
    Thanks again for the crack, I've saved this to favourites.
