The sambar deer was wagging his tail because he was happy to offer up his delicious and nutritious meat for this beautiful tiger. You can also hear him screaming with joy, I think the deer can sense that this is for a worthy cause. Hopefully this is a mother tiger and she can feed her cubs. The tigers are actually a lot more merciful than many other predators, they go for the neck and make a pretty fast kill. A lot of predators would have eaten this thing alive and made no attempt to kill it before eating it.

It’s soo irritating that people talk out loud while these animals are living in their homes doing their business. Instead of respecting its space and keeping silent “vishal” was constantly told what to do and what not to do. These are once in a lifetime kind of experience but that noise in the background 😡
We must learn to keep quiet and observe, the least whisper at least!!!
You are forgetting that the guide is paid to explain to tourists. This is not a nature documentary made by a huge TV station with camera people who don't talk. These are ordinary people.
@@fablewalls It is not the guide's voice in the background, Suggest re-watch it. And be it "ordinary people" or "tv channel", everyone should be silent during encounter with a wild apex predator cz anything can trigger them also their sensory organs are different than humans. Well, the background noise was very irritating, REGARDLESS.
You should be thankful that they didn't remove the sounds and replace it with music.

@@actionjksn Yeah no you are probably sick and really like hearing that. Lets use some logic here, when an animal is being suffocated their body reacts involentarily in several ways, the tail wagging is basically just the deers body sruggling due to lack of oxegen. Prey will fight back in any way it can and sometimes it just does not go well, life is unfair and no one actully likes dying.
In this case the tiger hamstrung the deer. It couldn’t stand after that and then tiger chose its moment to go for the kill. They do this with larger prey animals.

I find it fascinating and incredible how, while hunting this large species of deer, the tiger always waits for the opportunity to leap directly on top of its prey in order to completely overpower the deer.

How many lions would be required to kill that sambar deer? I'm sure it would take at least four Lions to kill that deer. A single lion would probably die trying to take it down.
I disagree, a lioness can kill zebras, wilder beast single handedly, all it takes is a swift bite to the throat of its prey.
@@seanaikin8946 before that swift bite four to five lioness should be tracking it nd setting the deer into the trap where the main lioness will be sitting nd waiting for that deer to come into its grasp. It's impossible for a single lioness to track the deer nd successfully hunt it down
@@mayurdamodar3652 i just gave an example of what a lioness is capable of, but since @actionjksn mentioned Lion (male) trust me ive seen a male lion take down a grown Baffalo which are way bigger and lethal than an Indian Sambar.
