Coz from my understanding there are call centers there that pay a lot more if the agent knows how to speak French or other European languages. A lot of Filipinos also dream of moving to Canada and they know that knowing the language would be an advantage especially if they plan to move to Quebec. The hardest part of learning a language is immersion in a conversational setting to enable the learner to practice and having someone to correct his/her mistakes in real time.
