Hi girls, I’m in the UK here and let me tell you please please please do your research before launching a POD business I learnt the hard way and spent 1000s on all the gear but had no idea and the market is SATURATED every man and his uncle is making T-shirts, mugs etc. pick your niche very carefully. My Etsy store took off and then very quickly fell flat on its face 😂 so I’m here stuck with all this stuff earning no money from it and I’ve tried everything from posting to paid ads. I’m not downing it..as some people make it but I’m just gently warning you to not spend a penny until you’re sure it’s going to work. Test the water before diving in x

When I started my business, I didn't even tell my friends and family and not because my family wouldn't be supportive, i was just scared honestly. Just do what's best for you and pray. You got this!!

One sells his online music show brand on mugs, hoodies, tshirts etc and the other has his dance party brand on tshirts, hoodies and hats. These are not their main sources of income but at a glance I would say they both clear from $500 - $1,000 per month. Both U.S. based.

I am 58 .. a nurse.. lost my fiancé from a brain tumor.. my 18 yr old dog died.. I lost all 12 storage units FULL of antiques and any and all of my possessions that I had had and had handed down to me from my grandparents and parents .. my dad passed already and my mom went in for knee surgery last yr and came out with full blown vascular dementia 😢 I had to have emergency back surgery last yr and had just lost my job because I had to call off 1more day that you are allowed. I had to pull out the little retirement money that I had. I have nobody to lean on and Drs are telling me that they don’t think I can go back to work due to the pain and other symptoms that remain despite surg. I had to go to an acute rehab after I was d/c from the hospital after my surg surgery.. after I was done there I had to go to another rehab for more PT and OT .. Almost a yr I am still here. My car that had 3 payments left was repossessed and the place that I was living at before surgery turned into a place that was not safe for me to go back. The landlord turned into an ass. A narcissistic one. So now I have no place to go so I’m basically homeless which that’s the first time I said that out loud. So because I don’t have a place to go they basically are leaving me here until I can find a place and or if I do a job but my doctors don’t think I’m gonna be able to do that. So how am I supposed to find a place to live when I don’t have a job or any income and how am I supposed to get a job but I don’t have a place to live? I’m fucking stuck. I’ve asked everybody that I know and nothing is working out. I have wasted so much time being here this long and not doing anything.. but honestly I have been pretty depressed thru all this and on a couple meds for it. I do know that you figure out who your real friends are real fast. So tell me is this something that I could do that would help me get out of this hole and at least be able to slowly work my way up. I have lots of time to dedicate to it. I just have to figure out how to get a job without a place to live. But I think I could at least TRY to do something while I am in this rehab with nothing to do.. please. Can someone point me in the right direction?
