One interesting fact about the Christ the Redeemer statue in Brazil was that one of the designers was a French sculptor named Paul Landowski who was of Polish descent.

@ Nice. For me Cristo Rei in Portugal was always more important, i wasnt even aware there was in Brazil too. Good for you, for me 7th wonders of the world, is statue of zeus, colossus of rhodes, temple of artemis, lightouse of alexandria, great pyramid of Giza, hanging gardens of babylon and masoleum of halicarnassus.

Im from Philippines, Praise the Lord, ive been there alwsys everytime ive no work in Christ the King/ Cristo Ray in Vung Tau City Vietnam where we can go inside of the body of Christ and climb in wide concrete stairway going to His shoulder while you pray, and you can see birds eyeview part of Vung Tau City. I wish we could go back there and touch my Christ the King with my family.
