My 5AM(ish) Mindful Morning Routine

  • Hey! So excited to share my mindful morning routine with you all. I have built up these practices over 8 years and i truly can say they have changed my life in so many ways. I called it 5am(ish) because sometimes 5am just doesn't happen 😂 but for about 7 years now my wake up time has been 5:30am or earlier...and believe me it is a magical magical time of day...i spent a year and a half of my life waking up at 3.45am to to start a mindful meditation practice (which i talk about more near the end of this video) and that time of my life really built the foundation and excitement of waking up early!

    Morning routine: 6.30 a baby jumping on my face
    6:40 feeding baby
    7:00 getting ready for work
    7:20 eating breakfast

    You are such a positive influence for people, especially women around the world, it’s so inspiring. I am still a novice but I want to make meditation and positive thinking an integral part of my life and it was amazing when you said that you started off with 5 minutes and have climbed up the ladder. I feel my thoughts wandering off and I have to consciously bring them back and start concentrating all over again. I even heard you on the first episode of “On Purpose with Jay Shetty” and your words resonated with me (I am sure, even with many people out there) on so many levels. Keep doing what you’re doing and I am sure people will thank themselves to have listened to the voice of reason. Since I am a teacher, I start my day very early but I manage to meditate and I feel the difference already!!

    Meditation 🧘‍♀️ is peace of mind, when it is in our control, we don’t have to worry about mind, skin, hair, body. Itz automatically fall in place. That’s what radhi is into she is into meditation for 10years Itz actually too much. She got that aura around her and her talks and smile is amazing.
    We all have to dedicate our little time, get up early in the morning and do yoga and pray god and do good things in life like Radhi.

    I'm so happy you're making videos on youtube. A year and a half ago when i listened to Jay Shetty's first podcast episode you inspired me to learn more about Ayurveda and how essential a morning routine is. Since that time i followed you on Instagram and I am always in awe of the knowledge and wisdom you've acquired in your life. I can literally hear you talk all day and just learn as much as i can.

      try to buy something handmade and authentic:) support artisans although they are more expensive they are better quality, it will help the artisans continue their craft, as well help us do our part to try not to buy from factories:) just an idea, the amazon ones that got mentioned will also do the trick

    Im muslim and so many things you do remind me of my day! The oil detox massage- our wudhu, Meditation- our salah, chanting- our tasbih and Salawat, and my religion is a big reason why I started eating healthier, we are supposed to leave 1/3 food, 1/3 water, 1/3 air! fascinating really how many similarities

    I am usually not into this meditation , waking early stuff but I came across this video and I was surprisingly inspired. I have started a new routine something like this from today.     Yes, please do a video of your nighttime routine! I would also love to know more about mediation and the different mantras and just how to begin and not get discouraged. I find it really hard to keep my mind from wondering off or even being able to stay still in a sitting position. I really love that you created a channel and I'm really excited to see your content!     I also switched the traditional alarm to calming music, so much better to start your day with a nice song than with a noisy alarm :)

      Yeah exactly! Like waking up at 5, how we offer Fajar before sunrise. And especially when she mentioned that Abhyanga Massage, it reminded me of Wudu! There are so many benefits of following this routine. And this video gave me even more inspiration!

      Yes..i wake up at 3.45am.
      Read Quran from 4am to fajr.
      Its the last 3rd of the night.

    I really love your routine radhi! From waking up early doing meditation,mantra chanting, doing exercises workout and the getting ready for office like a pro. Being grateful towards eating ❤ I follow all of this .. feels wonderful within.
