I’ve found when a show decides to focus a season on a particular character’s story, you need to be prepared to say goodbye to that character. They do this on purpose so that the final outcome hits the hardest.
I bet they cloned Crosshair as the base for Dark Troopers. It makes sense because in legends the Imperial Dark Troopers ORIGINALLY had clones inside them and that enhanced their life-span and protection for valuable soldiers. They were essentially the B2 Super battle droid of the Empire.
I really hope tech isn’t one of those cwx guys. I’m definitely in the camp of them being a prototype iteration of the dark trooper and it’s haunting to imagine him being forced into it.
With where Rex is at mentally in Rebels and where they depict him at now fighting the empire I wouldnt mind if they give the Batch Crew minus Omega the Rouge One ending (all die permanently) it would go alot to explaining the set up of Rex.
If this Bad Batch final season doesn't end with an older Omega over a memorial with all the Bad Batch dead (ala Saving Private Ryan.) I'll be severely disappointed.
would be even better if she was in Hunter's armor (or a modified variant of it). maybe a mixing of all the Batch's armors together, as a way of saying they'll live on in her.
Not gonna lie you're right...about the money thing. The more profitable they are, the more likely they're gonna get resurrected... Story/realism be damned
I fully expect Tech to have been recovered by the Empire and subjected to the same type of cybernetic augmentation that Echo was, but more extensive. His mind is a valuable asset that can be used.

I hope that Techs´ fate stays permanent, but if they want to make something bitter sweet, they could make it so that he gets made into a droid-like being, like griveous in legends after Obi Wan defeated him, where he basically gets a droid brain. Would make it even bitter sweeter, if he had to fight the bad batch.
I don't see how he could survive such a fall, especially with the railcar above him. I can only imagine the Empire uses his body as a Phase I Dark Trooper, the ones that are mostly human with cybernetic enhancements. Imagine the gut punch of the Bad Batch being on a mission, and finding their ship hacked or something, and recognizing the sequence as Tech's, or being attacked by some Dark Troopers, and exposing his face somehow, realizing he is nothing more than a mindless puppet now, and they have to kill him. I won't have too much of this rescue, miraculous survival, or no one actually dies nonsense, because it gets unbelievable when used often. It's like Allan(possible spelling error) said, most the time people return only because they're popular/can be used to milk money.
Ever since Tech fell I've been thinking they're gonna do a Winter Soldier storyline with him. It just seems obvious. Personally, I hope for the story that he's gone, but for his characters sake I want him to live cause I think he's great.
I think they might take the "Winter Soldier" approach with Tech. In the trailer we see what we can assume is a clone in black armor with a visor that we can't see through. That, along with the fact that the Bad Batch's armor is already a dark gray bordering on black and that Crosshair wore black armor during his time working for the Empire, makes this one of the more likely scenarios for if Tech survived.
I watched those final scenes many times. He still had another handblaster (he carried two) and it was the one he used as a grapple gun. He think he got banged up, but then, like a special forces soldier, he went into evade and survive mode. And because the Empire didn't want the best in their stormtroopers, just "good enough" he could easily outwit the local ST. I think he is waiting to recover enough until he can steal a ship with a hyperactive to escape off world.
I know that's an autocorrect fail for hyperdrive, but I just got a delightful mental picture of a seriously banged-up Tech having to ally himself with some plucky orphan kid with very bad ADHD.
If they can bring back Ecco, they can bring back Tech. We all thought Ecco was blown up. Tech may have just landed somewhere below the clouds and be slightly hurt. The glasses could be anyone's.
tech never, never does anything without a plan... ever! you also see tech falling with his acension cable still attached. As high as he was and as smart as he is, he would have realized that he could glide, and his visor could have calculated all the physics and flight angles he would have to follow to re-deploy his accension cable and thus save his own life... (therory) Tech is alive and will be an ark in season maybe... right?
Andor Season 2: *Finishes* John, Tony, and everyone else: "Well, that's that story done. Time to move-" Kathaleen: "Wait. People love Andor. Bring him back." John, Tony, and everyone else: "But... he died in Rogue one." Kathaleen: "SOMEHOW ANDOR WILL RETURN."
Big give away that the Clone operative is Tech. When the operative is fighting Crosshairs, he says to him. " you had our chance to be one of us. You chose the wrong side," he meant when Crosshairs chooses the Empire and not the Bad Batch on kamino.
If he survived, he’s Tech. He’s not going to let himself be found by the Empire if possible. Rex and his clones could have been closely following the lead Saw and his rebels had but were weary of the effect it was going to have or do. The left over goggles could have been Tech or even Rex leaving them there to throw off anyone looking for him
Most people who have survived falling out of airplanes with no parachute survived because they clung onto a piece of wreckage, and from that shot, there seems to be a LOT of wreckage for tech to grab onto and survive the fall
God I hope they let Tech rest in peace. The crying that would ensue from “fans” would be insane. Plus his sacrifice for the group would be undone. That said, I really like Tech and personally wouldn’t be upset if he does come back.
The only thing that makes me even slightly question him surviving that is the fact that he's directly under the cable car as he falls, meaning that no matter what he'd hit, that massive hunk of metal will land right on top of him. Regardless though I'm pretty confident they're going for a fake out, which I am kinda disappointed by. Wish these stories would actually have stakes.
Loving the 2nd season of TBB, still watching the last half of the season. I highly enjoy all of the characters (Tech is amazing and stands out for me more now) and the interactions , they are growing on me in a positive way like the SW: Rebels characters did. I like the treasure hunting focus in the episodes with Phee Genoa, had a bit of an Indiana Jones/archaeology feel, which I enjoyed. Somethig different from going into areas controlled by the Empire and getting trapped there ... If Tech survived somehow it would be immense bacta therapy combined with General Grievous/Darth Vader level prosthetics ...
Walk the Trail of The Cedars in Glacier Natl Park and you'll see a few of the same type of gigantic trees (Hemlocks)Tech fell into. Not a better scenario to survive such a fall. Peace/JT
the supports for the track go all the way to the ground it is possible tech is alive not badly hurt and ditched his goggles and parts of his armor to fake his death he could be in hideing waiting for back up.
I thought it was a reach to presume he survived the fall… … but those were all very good points. Plus now that I see that new black armored clone trooper in the trailer… I think Hemlock has made Tech an imperial asset…
What was Saw Gerrera's extraction plan? Have someone waiting outside to scoop them up perhaps. When the detect a fire fight on the cable car it would be natural to assume that that was Saw and his team. But which side is which. Saw and his people are in storm trooper armor. The odds are that the extraction team would use their ship or flying craft to grab everyone falling from the fight. With force fields, tractor, beams and a matching velocity dive you could catch people. The lack of hand rails in Star wars implies that few fear falling. Tech could be with Saws people. He's too beat up to head home and may think they're dead. Hemlock only found the glasses and is lying about the others. There are also some interesting flying creatures in star wars than may snatch a falling snack from the air. With his gun dropped tech would need to get creative.
I honestly hope they bring him back as a shell of his former self. An imperial mindless experiment. The Tech we know is dead, his body is now the empires.
Reactions of the fans when Midnight and Sasha died: HOW COULD THEY DO THIS?! Reactions of the fans when Tech has been hinted to survive: We wanted him to remain dead!
Star Wars being Marvelized...nothing "dies". Every character returns at some point because reasons. Might as well resuscitate Anakin's mother and Padmé while at it.

@@Iggy1eco TBF, i never could understand this point. In prequels it was pretty obvious that both Anakin and Obi-Wan won't die no matter what. Does this make their story wors? I don't think so. There are many franchises were almost nobody ever die, and they pretty popular newetherless. In comic book industry "resurrection" of characters is the norm, and there is good reasons for that. This industry is almost century old.. That ignoring fact that mortality rate in SW actually unrealistically high. At least in comparison with competent armies in real life.
Exactly. I wish people would realize this kind of stuff is realistic, and is actually part of what makes him so relatable to people. He's simply a neuro-diverse individual, which makes him unlike his brothers (even though they are also mutant outcasts), and their sister, Omega, in this way. His intellect was his greatest strength and, therefore, his greatest weapon, including his emotional intelligence. That doesn't mean he has to convey that through his actions all the time. Nor showing emotions constantly. He only needed to be himself.

The easiest-ish way to make a Force Sensitive Clones is by adding in some Sith Alchemy mixed in, while trying to make a Force Sensitive Clone the Kemonioan way pretty much comes down to luck
I knew Tech wasn’t dead the moment Hemlock threw his goggles. That’s what the bad guy does when he’s LYING about the character being dead! Lotso did the exact same thing with Woody’s hat in Toy Story 3, making the other characters think he had possibly killed Woody, when in reality he had no idea where Woody was and Woody had simply dropped his hat during his escape.
I would prefer that he stay dead. Not because I don’t like him, on the contrary, his sacrifice was one of the most meaningful in recent star wars media. To bring him back would undermine that and it’s a way overused trope that’s getting old. However, I may not mind him returning if he is changed. I thought Maul’s return in TCW was brilliant because he was twisted and broken (it scared me as a kid). Vader, who by all rights probably shouldn’t have survived became a machine, and the face of evil in the Empire, lacking his former youth, agility, and humanity. But when characters “die” or survive usually fatal injuries (grand inquisitor, Reva, Sabine, etc), and aren’t changed, it’s just an inconvenience, is not meaningful at all. If tech becomes an unfeeling robot, or seems unfeeling but it actually being tortured and broken on the inside, showing the cost of artificially extending life could have some meaningful story value (plus pulling on heartstrings). Sorry for the rant.
Tech is probably gonna get the robocop treatment. If he comes back evil, I hope he stays evil. I hope it goes something like "One flew over the Cuckoo's nest" and how that ended.
That is a good theory but there's one flaw with it Weather Tech lands the big huge heavy car thing he shot down with him would land on top of him or the best case pending him down he would not be strong enough to push it off or anything although it is Tech you'll figure out a way
In one of the first three episodes, there was a very quick glimpse of a "Black Ops Assassin" clone standing in the corridor - just watching as everyone walked by (I believe it was episode 1). I am hearing rumors/theories that this "Assassin" clone is really Tech. That somehow, when Hemlock found Tech's body, he was barely still alive (probably near death-comatose). And Hemlock either resurrected what was left of Tech's body and reprogrammed him, or created a clone of Tech and reprogrammed him - to be a "Black Ops Assassin" clone. Can it really be a version of Tech under that black suit? I means, Hemlock did retrieve Tech's goggles and threw it at Hunter's feet. If this is true, that would be heartbreaking on top of the heart break we felt at the end of the last season. And then the Batch will be forced to actually kill him again, for good - or die themselves (probably Crosshair will do it because Hunter or Wrecker can't pull the trigger). Maybe that's how the Empire found out about the island of Pabu (from Tech's memories). Because we see the Empire landing there and firing shots at the citizens. Oh God...., Please no.

Its obvious he will be back. They've already confirmed his voice actor will have a credited part this season.
Dee voices every clone
LMFAO DEE BRADLEY BAKER IS ALL THE CLONES
I really hope tech isn’t one of those cwx guys. I’m definitely in the camp of them being a prototype iteration of the dark trooper and it’s haunting to imagine him being forced into it.
With where Rex is at mentally in Rebels and where they depict him at now fighting the empire I wouldnt mind if they give the Batch Crew minus Omega the Rouge One ending (all die permanently) it would go alot to explaining the set up of Rex.
As Colonel Meebur Gascon once said, “He’s doing what a soldier does: sacrificing himself for the lives of others.”
If this Bad Batch final season doesn't end with an older Omega over a memorial with all the Bad Batch dead (ala Saving Private Ryan.) I'll be severely disappointed.
That would be so fucking good.
would be even better if she was in Hunter's armor (or a modified variant of it). maybe a mixing of all the Batch's armors together, as a way of saying they'll live on in her.
Not gonna lie you're right...about the money thing. The more profitable they are, the more likely they're gonna get resurrected... Story/realism be damned
Why else is ventress back or baby yoda in boba fett show
I believe that Tech's survival might go down the same route as the Winter Soldier in the MCU.
I'm probably a bit like tech because on the sunset scene all I could think was, Are they using timers for their lights because that's pretty uniform.
I fully expect Tech to have been recovered by the Empire and subjected to the same type of cybernetic augmentation that Echo was, but more extensive. His mind is a valuable asset that can be used.
When Tech did what he did i I yelled at my screen and then I sat there mouth opened and in denial.... I really hope that they bring him back🤞🤞

@@EmperorCaligula_EC The difference there is Gandalf DID die... he was actually sent back to Middle Earth by Eru Iluvatar, a.k.a., God. One of something like 2-3 people that Iluvatar personally brought back.
Nope, he's actually dead.
Great video Allen, putting the Tech in Generation Tech!
For some reason I thought this was going to be a video about how the Techno Union was going to make a comeback.
(therory) Tech is alive and will be an ark in season maybe... right?
Andor Season 2: *Finishes*

Kathaleen: "Wait. People love Andor. Bring him back."
John, Tony, and everyone else: "But... he died in Rogue one."
Kathaleen: "SOMEHOW ANDOR WILL RETURN."
I think rather then tech surviving we will get crosshairs back in the trailer you can barely see his rifle over Hunters’s head
Big give away that the Clone operative is Tech. When the operative is fighting Crosshairs, he says to him. " you had our chance to be one of us. You chose the wrong side," he meant when Crosshairs chooses the Empire and not the Bad Batch on kamino.
It would be a powerful tool against the empire with them thinking one of the most smartest clones is dead
If he survived, he’s Tech. He’s not going to let himself be found by the Empire if possible. Rex and his clones could have been closely following the lead Saw and his rebels had but were weary of the effect it was going to have or do. The left over goggles could have been Tech or even Rex leaving them there to throw off anyone looking for him
One of the first stages of grief is denial
Watch tech and omega are the only survivors in the series
Wish these stories would actually have stakes.
i'm skeptical he's coming back, but he might. i personally think they showed us a more human side of him, so it hurt more when he sacrificed himself.
Na, he didn't show up in the finale, he's actually dead, I really respect the show for this decision.
Dose anyone else think that Tech will be the first Dark Trooper?
Even though phee and tech weren't together officially, the time they did have was great while it lasted.
I have a feeling that if Tech comes back after Eriadu, he might come back as a canon version of the Phase 0 Dark Trooper.
Somehow Tech has returned
No one is ever dead with Disney
Not even Walt Disney
Walk the Trail of The Cedars in Glacier Natl Park and you'll see a few of the same type of gigantic trees (Hemlocks)Tech fell into. Not a better scenario to survive such a fall. Peace/JT
What's this? Tech fell into some HEMLOCKS? Um, yeah, no survived-but-was-captured clues there....
the supports for the track go all the way to the ground it is possible tech is alive not badly hurt and ditched his goggles and parts of his armor to fake his death he could be in hideing waiting for back up.
Well this hits different after the finale
Falling into abyssal fog is equivalent to being stabbed in the gut with a light Saber...

He’s gonna be a dark trooper like from the battlefront games
He landed into an empire pillow making factory 🏭 & yes
They also manufacture military grade trampolines 🤫
Didn’t the bad batch panel at Star Wars celebration confirm he was dead dead by multiple people?
Reactions of the fans when Midnight and Sasha died: HOW COULD THEY DO THIS?!
Reactions of the fans when Tech has been hinted to survive: We wanted him to remain dead!
Heaven forbid any character in Star Wars actually remain dead... sigh...
If Tech comes back, I will immediately turn off my TV and not finish the series.
I mean… Yeah. Tech obviously survived. We’ve seen it time and time again. There’s no fall damage in the Star Wars universe
Star Wars being Marvelized...nothing "dies". Every character returns at some point because reasons. Might as well resuscitate Anakin's mother and Padmé while at it.
But SW was like that for decades. Why people only notised it now?
@@sirtaelellevalerie1056 oh it started with Lucas? Safe to say Newman and Filoni inherited the style then
@@Iggy1eco Resurrection of Palpatine was in old EU (except better done), same with Boba survival. Maul and Echo survival was planned before disney, Asajj Ventress was "killed" like 3 times, once in old cartoon and twice in comics (made before second Clone Wars series). Last time she returned to life literally on very next page after her "death". And that only cases i know about, and i unfamiliar with most of EU.
Additionally, very few named characters actually died in original trilogy. Only in prequel era (including EU part of it) named characters was at real risk.
@@sirtaelellevalerie1056 I'm part of the fan base that watched all SW movies as one eventually would, but started enjoying it most when Rogue One came out. That's when I can say to have become a fan (not meaning I like all content, but I don't worry with what I don't like). Seeing these revivals take away a lot of meaning to characters, and make a lot of sympathy simply wasted on them. I can tolerate the Palpatine clone stuff, tbh, but these retcons and fake deaths do nothing for me. Just let them rest and bring something fresh to the continuity.
We didn't see a body. Hemlock lies. I believe Tech is alive.
Tech is the Sheldon of the group. He may *seem* detached, but he is very emotionally intelligent when the time comes.
Am I the only one who noticed Tech use a jet pack on that episode?? He used it (one time, quick burst) when jumping from the top of the rail car to the next. rewatch!
I hope tech gets saved by the bad batch and the mind control goes away. But in the final season the bad batch and the clones retire in the vacation planet
Tech coming back is even less a surprise than Jon Snow coming back -- and that wasn't a surprise at all
Come again? You might have missed by a few zip codes
The star wars universe sounds wonderful, everyone but qui-gon is immortal
I have a suspicion this season will be dark. Tech will come back, but he'll be a prototype Dark Trooper.
i really hope they dont do em dirty
A character we thought was dead is brought back? This is shocking!
What if they made two Techs? What if the Kaminoans made backups of each member of Clone Force 99?
I don’t think they are willing to kill of any main character anymore.
I remember when you talked about Tech's death last year. I made the comment of, just like Mavel comics. Tech will somehow survived his fall.
Am I going to be surprised? No, I've read and seen way to many books and movies to know... I'll just be happy to see Tech again.
When crosshair looks through his eyepiece at the clone X it has prosthetic limbs, go bck and look closer.
Tech is probably gonna get the robocop treatment. If he comes back evil, I hope he stays evil. I hope it goes something like "One flew over the Cuckoo's nest" and how that ended.
Tech came back... somehow.
That is a good theory but there's one flaw with it Weather Tech lands the big huge heavy car thing he shot down with him would land on top of him or the best case pending him down he would not be strong enough to push it off or anything although it is Tech you'll figure out a way
Man this video is making me miss tech. I loved his scenes in season 2
They didn't show us, the audience, a body.
With no body shown, one can't assume death.
That's not a good thing in this case. Happens way way too often
You know very well that not just any Jedi can become a force
I think an interesting theory would be that tech did die but Hemlock cloned him to practice his methods and attempted to make him side with the empire
I accidentally spoiled Tech's death for a friend. So now I'm faced with the option of letting Disney retcon my mistake, or spoiling his return. 🤔
Looking at the clips of tech falling.. His back pack has a booster jet system... I wouldn't be surprised he used it in someway.
It’s Disney Star Wars, did we really expect he would stay dead?
