On Ahsoka and Wolffe, I'd say that they had possibly known each other before that rescue mission because while Plo Koon protects their pod and Wolffe tries to keep the signal alive he hears her trying to reach them and calls her by her name. ("It's Ahsoka! She must be close!" is the direct line). For him to forgo calling her by her rank and instead by her first name implies a level of atleast familiarity if not intimacy. It's not too hard to believe that in the time before becoming Anakin's padawan Plo Koon would have introduced Ahsoka to his men to get her used to clones before being sent out. I noticed when they are taking her back after capturing her that while Rex and him are holding her up, she's pulled slightly towards the right (Wolffe's side). Ahsoka hadn't moved, Wolffe was just righting her so she didn't fall over. Another way you can see she was important to him is that fact that hes helping Rex hold her up at all when one of them would've sufficed; I doubt Ahsoka weighs much.
I suspect they might be clones based off of Crosshair while he was experimented on. Highly lethal, and the re-cloning could mean they degrade a lot faster and the empire wouldn’t have to clean up the mess.

Supah exciting episodes 6&7 ^^ Amazing content to wind-down with at late evening via Disney+ 🙂 Here in Generation Tech good subjects & talk as always 🙂
Im loving this rebel clone story arc, assisting senators to meet in secret to discuss anti empire things, setting up a base. I thunk it may be too niche, but personally i would love a series on this, with stories of how the defecting clones escaped the empire, how they found the clone rebel cell, the wins, the losses... Filoni would be keen too i reckon.
Its a shame this show is ending, seeing more of the empire through wolf's missions and some early storm trooper characters like we did with crosshair episodes would have been great. Plus i need more supercommando characters. Gregor is my favourite clone and there is nowhere near enough of him.
I was wondering if it was the same temple! I also think that while Wolff is a good fit for the empire, he doesn’t have the same values that the empire has because of master Plo’s influence and guidance. Maybe plo teaches him that the reason he’s fighting is to protect the civilians as they are the republic as the republic is them?
I think Rex and Wolfe survived the events of the og trilogy, I’d like to think they were in the battle of Endor. Wolfe doesn’t want to accept the situation with the Clones because he’s a soldier and the Empire gives him purpose, he’s afraid of losing that.
3:25 - Dave Filoni isn't the only SW authority but given the consistency of his track record, Plo Koon being his favourite is just MORE PROOF THAT PLO KOON IS THE GOAT. Of all the Jedi, he's one of the most committed and firm without being rigid or dogmatic like Mundi or even Yoda. Not perfect but none of them are, and I will swear up and down that he's basically Optimus Prime with a lightsaber.
Thoughtful summation of Wolffe’s character. One detail though: Wolffe commanded his men, “Shoot to kill!” when they were chasing Ahsoka. Anakin countermanded that order, “NO! Shoot to stun!”
…. How did I just find out bad batch premiered like a month ago….. Ig I’ve been way to preoccupied on homework! I guess I better binge watch s3 and your breakdowns / videos so I can be up to date.
I think the clone projects at Tantiss are moreso taking advantage of the surplus of clones rather than a definitive way to get rid of them, it would be too suspicious if suddenly every single active clone across the galaxy disappeared, which is especially true of well known high ranking clones like Wolffe
They didn’t just send millions of active clones to Tantiss for experimentation. The clones are getting gradually phased out over time, with the disobedient/surplus clones being sent for experimentation. Edit: Also thought I would provide some additional context. It’s a big galaxy, with trillions of beings and only a couple million clones. Even if the clones didn’t get phased out at all, they would still be outnumbered by the sheer amount of recruits flooding in from across the galaxy.
I kept thinking to myself in those two episodes is this is top tier star wars animation S3 so far is absolutely amazing dare I say it's up there with the best star wars has to offer
He basically killed himself. He disobeyed orders in front of a whole imperial battalion. He knew this was a death sentence but still let them get away ..
From his conversation with rex he definitely is not aware that this could be a death sentence. However he is the highest rank a clone can achieve, which might buy him some survivability.
Uhha, Ahsoka was not accused of masterminding the temple bombing at that time, she was only suspected of murdering Leta and perhaps killing some clones wile escaping.
@@RayvenTheNightthere’s a scene of Cody using a vibroblade in season 2 in a very similar manner to the operative’s fight against Crosshair. Wolfe also says to the operative ‘I outrank you’, and then him and the operative have an awkward stare down. It may be dark humour, as Cody and Wolfe were once the same rank!
@@captainrex4723 I think it would be a very cold a cruel parallel as crosshair would know that cody would have eventually became one of them after he sees the first one and just loses it
@@captainrex4723it’s much more likely it’s Tech. That’s why they are focusing on this character so much. And would be a more intense narrative struggle for the Batch to face him after they thought Tech died. Also the visor, build, and voice of the clone being hidden, kinda points to tech. Especially since we know Cody deserted in S2.
I think there may be a chance for more character development and redemption for Commander Wollfe in later episodes or series. He got a lot of hate for going after Ahsoka in Season 5 of The Clone Wars and I believe it is in his personality to follow missons without quesiton most of the time. I personally cannot wait to see what happens.
Am I the only one wondering why Rex is wearing a replament upper right arm piece because it doesn't sport his blue paint, and what point did he lose it.
I have always wondered if he has better vision with his cybernetic eye especially from a Star Wars fan like myself that also plays cyberpunk, 2077 lol you can scan and hack a lot with those optic implants
Yeah, I think it's Tech too. The way he speaks is similar, he makes some pauses that Regular Clones don't make (eg "They... are both" at the start of EP7), and his movemens are also different than a those of regular clones. He also suffers the same leg injury he suffered at the start of S2 during the explosion at the end of EP6. Can be considered a coincidence, sure, but I think it's intentional.
Yeah, I’m sure Wolffe’s end to serving the Empire is drawing near. One of his troopers will likely report Wolffe letting the targets go, no way Wolffe’s gonna be able to talk his way out of that.
One thing I also would like to point out; All of the soldiers with Wolff at the end of the episode are Clones. None of them are the TK troopers. Which makes it to me even more important
I am still waiting to see Cody again, since he went AWOL in season 2 and has not been seen since. It really is an injustice to just be done with such an important clone like Cody. It is great that we see Rex and Wolffe meet again, but I really want to see Rex and Cody meet again as they are possibly the most iconic and unstoppable combination of clones you could have, and Cody trained and worked along side Clone Force 99 (The Bad Batch) so not only seeing Cody meet Rex again, and for the first time after Order 66, but also see Cody meet the other members of The Bad Batch minus Crosshair since Crosshair has worked with Cody after Order 66, and well, Tech is gone so really would just be Hunter and Wrecker, and maybe Echo to some extent even though Echo originally belonged to the 501st and one of Rex's men, though Gregor is as far as I am aware, is one of Cody's original commando's, so include him in there.
I fear in the Empire, the punishment for treason is death. Although Wolf lives onto another future cartoon series, it would seem everyone that failed to capture / kill the runaway clones at the end of S3E07 would be eliminated upon return to Tantiss.
I think Wolffe is in a lot of trouble because he let them go. But maybe HE leads the way to Tantiss? Looking forward to the rest of the seasons. Right now, it's really great.
Its funny wolf is scared of the Empire season of rebels. But does his job in the empire. Easter egg, Wolf till checks heart pulse in bad batch and season final of rebels. It's interesting if no one noticed that.
I thought the same thing about that "Rebels" episode where Wolf freaks out when he sees Kanan and Ezra, I instantly thought that's why he acted like that, because he stayed with the Empire and didn't leave until much later, he had greater indoctrination, also he probably never had his chip removed!
Rex kind of did say in Rebels that surviving Jedi constantly attacked them before meeting Ezra and Kanan. In other words, they met paranoid Jedi Knights and Padawans who lost all trust in clones and were willing to kill them to survive. Ezra and Kanan were the first Jedi, aside from Ahsoka, to actually have a decent conversation with them.
Does anyone else feel like the shadow clone is actually Tech. Idk I may just miss Tech too much. But it’s just the movements and the talking patterns. I miss Tech.
LAST COMMENT I SWEAR- The clone commando didn’t believe Rex were traitors but he and the other clones there never seemed to think above their pay grade (Yes they don’t get paid, I know). But in asking that question, the commando seems to truly question his purpose and overall mission
I'd rather a video on everyone being English in The Empire!? Dd the British colonise the stars and run the empire from the shadows like in real life.!?
I don’t think it was personal feelings when he was hunting for Ashoka. It’s not like he was sent on his own. He had Anakin and PLO-Koon there too. He was with his commanding officers to bring in someone he was close to as well. If he wasn’t sent with Jedi I’d agree with you on that. But he was sent with who he knew best and who would in his mind handle things properly afterwards
The Rebels depiction of the clones is such a spit in the face of Clone Wars Fans. Turned the clones into a few overweight hobos living in a walking shack. Even more reasons why that show was bad... They probably did it cause they knew The Clone Wars was a better show, and Disney was jealous. (Just like they did to luke...)

Supah exciting episodes 6&7 ^^ Amazing content to wind-down with at late evening via Disney+ 🙂 Here in Generation Tech good subjects & talk as always 🙂
I always watch your videos after watching the recent episodes
I forgot about Wolf turning them into the Empire.🙁 Maybe I should rewatch.
Thanks Alan👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
He didn't turn them in. He let them go.
@@CryptidRenfriIn the rebels TV show. Stop spilling your brain cells.
Wow such a deep breakdown of the episode! Keep them coming
It's also worth noting that all of the TK troopers died prior to Wolf and Rex meeting at the end.
I wanna see the clone assassins from the revenge of the sith video game make an appearance those guys were sick
Maybe I’m wrong but in that final confrontation with wolf I noticed only clones managed to survive, no TK troopers board the shuttle at the end
I think they were all pretty much taken out during the First Team's fight with the Rebel Clones.
A lot of the TK troopers were killed, the rest were stunned and unconscious. So you're right that final confrontation consisted of exclusively clones.
Its a shame this show is ending, seeing more of the empire through wolf's missions and some early storm trooper characters like we did with crosshair episodes would have been great. Plus i need more supercommando characters. Gregor is my favourite clone and there is nowhere near enough of him.
F for the fallen.
I watched this entire video. I believe in Commander Wolff. I am Generation Tech!
Great video! You always help me see Star Wars in a new light and understand things deeper. Just good writing too.
Daylight burning apartment. Usually when i've watched your content, there is dark outside 🙃
The thing I don't get is why they kept Wolffe the way he is and not sent to Mount Tantiss? He was useful the way he is or did not "open his mind"?
I think the clone projects at Tantiss are moreso taking advantage of the surplus of clones rather than a definitive way to get rid of them, it would be too suspicious if suddenly every single active clone across the galaxy disappeared, which is especially true of well known high ranking clones like Wolffe
He was a loyal clone that followed orders. The clones on Tantiss are the ones who were disobedient
That episode on Aleen was the best. Those little dudes language made me laugh. “Cana do Cana do! Tip tip!”
2:59 Not sure what you mean by him not being armed, but you can definitely see the blaster pistols in his holsters when the shuttle ramp lowers
I wouldn’t say an entire battalion. Battalions consist of several hundred men.
Judging by the commando body launguade and how he handled the situation plus the clones walking away, I’m sure they all agree with him
I disagree with this statment 09:31
Wolff is not a bad commander. The target is the one with plot armor
Season 1 Episode 2 of Clone Wars is one of my favorite Star Wars anything
All your videos are worth watching all the way thru, but this one especially. You know what you did 😂
Uhha, Ahsoka was not accused of masterminding the temple bombing at that time, she was only suspected of murdering Leta and perhaps killing some clones wile escaping.
3:36 bro what am i looking at
I like how they all turn around to face the door as it goes up. That would feel pretty silly once it closed.
I reckon that secret clone is cody
I think it's tech
@@RayvenTheNightthere’s a scene of Cody using a vibroblade in season 2 in a very similar manner to the operative’s fight against Crosshair.
Wolfe also says to the operative ‘I outrank you’, and then him and the operative have an awkward stare down. It may be dark humour, as Cody and Wolfe were once the same rank!
@@captainrex4723 I think it would be a very cold a cruel parallel as crosshair would know that cody would have eventually became one of them after he sees the first one and just loses it
I never even considered this, why would you make me think about it
@@captainrex4723it’s much more likely it’s Tech. That’s why they are focusing on this character so much. And would be a more intense narrative struggle for the Batch to face him after they thought Tech died.
Also the visor, build, and voice of the clone being hidden, kinda points to tech.
Especially since we know Cody deserted in S2.
I also would really like a Captain Rex show about the clone resistance/rescue movement
I want to see Crosshair tell them about Cody and how we defected
Why would the empire send the few clones they have left on mission to eliminate clones? Almost asking for mutiny, but maybe that’s the point?
I think there may be a chance for more character development and redemption for Commander Wollfe in later episodes or series. He got a lot of hate for going after Ahsoka in Season 5 of The Clone Wars and I believe it is in his personality to follow missons without quesiton most of the time. I personally cannot wait to see what happens.
It's interesting the ones of wollfes force that die are mostly tk troopers and when he's face to face with rex he's got all clones around him
Stormtroopers are amateurs compared to clone troopers. Nevertheless, Wolffe's moments were amazing.
Has anybody else noticed that Rex’s left shoulder is cleaner than the right because it’s where his shoulder cover used to be?
Ah yes the floating helmet clone, a truly innovative piece of tech from the empire that conceals the whole body except the helmet. brilliant
Am I the only one wondering why Rex is wearing a replament upper right arm piece because it doesn't sport his blue paint, and what point did he lose it.
I love how Rex became even more bad ass in this series
Interesting that Wolffe still has Plo Koon's insignia on his left shoulder
I have always wondered if he has better vision with his cybernetic eye especially from a Star Wars fan like myself that also plays cyberpunk, 2077 lol you can scan and hack a lot with those optic implants
I swear to God, I'll bet money that the shadow op that survived at the end is gonna turn out to be Tech.
I think cody
You’re gonna lose all your money 😂
Could be, because the way his "sigh" sounded was way too similar to tech’s
@@grandmoffjake6871I doubt it. Cody’s a deserter. He would’ve went into hiding
One thing I also would like to point out;
All of the soldiers with Wolff at the end of the episode are Clones. None of them are the TK troopers. Which makes it to me even more important
Alan may I ask where you got your glasses from I'm looking for a new pair and I really like yours, keep up the excellent work btw
Second comment as well lol love the channel and show
I am still waiting to see Cody again, since he went AWOL in season 2 and has not been seen since.
50th like. 🎉 i hope your day goes good 🔥
Still think the shadow operative is a clone of crosshair.
Ah yes, commander Wuff, from the Wuff pack.
I think Tech will be revealed as the Shadow Trooper.
I fear in the Empire, the punishment for treason is death. Although Wolf lives onto another future cartoon series, it would seem everyone that failed to capture / kill the runaway clones at the end of S3E07 would be eliminated upon return to Tantiss.
Please do a Video about how Palpi was able to transform from republic to empire from a legal point of view
Wolf is like a jedi who obeys the no attachments rule
They only have 1 attachment and that’s the empire
You’ll never know my internal thoughts >:3
Love the pfp Natali!
Definitely looks like Teth!
Anyone else notice the floating helmet behind and in between Wolffe and the commando?
Also how the clone behind the commandos legs doesnt appear fully?
Chow time!! lol just wish we got to know our clones more. Other than that. Episode is great!
Wolffe will get betrayed at some point and he’ll come around as he always does.
Nope in rebels, its revealed wolf had his chip removed
@@nopenopetheknight7519 Yeah, forgot they said that, but I think the rest still applies!
14:23 Oh look, a floating helmet.🤣
LAST COMMENT I SWEAR- The clone commando didn’t believe Rex were traitors but he and the other clones there never seemed to think above their pay grade (Yes they don’t get paid, I know). But in asking that question, the commando seems to truly question his purpose and overall mission
Can you guys do a video on the parallels between Star Wars and Hinduism?
I'd rather a video on everyone being English in The Empire!?
Dd the British colonise the stars and run the empire from the shadows like in real life.!?
@@jayjoes940let’s be honest, the empire seems way cooler with British accents
Did anyone notice delta 03 at the end with echo
If the Empire wants omega's blood can't the bad batch just give them a sample and tell them to go away
Very Nice
Surprized Palpatine didn't put a Seppuku order in the Inhibitor chips. Just for good measure.
generations tech do you think we will see quinlan vos again and the bad batch another anime series or live action Ahsoka season 2 come on sure in the years that follow of Ahsoka he might be in his 50s but still in good shape to fight value of moving slowly is that one can always see the way of ahead with age comes wisdom who's with me where do you think he will appear next
I figured the whole reinforcement team would leave with Rex and the gang.
