Important to centre the fabric as well, especially with stripes! Might be obvious to some but not others. 😊

Thank you so much for the tutorial video. I bought some really cool French fabric with fleur-de-lis designs and the dinning room set took another step up look. Thank you so much.

I like how you did the corners and I really appreciate the video- the part I needed the most help with. But I wouldn't put tape on the underside of the cushion as it will simply fall off. Staple parallel to the edge about 1/4" in and you will be fine.

Great video! I wish there was more information on why you did certain things. Why do you use cotton batten? Why do you start in the middle? Explaining things help to understanding.

Why didn't you use backing fabric (looks like canvas) to cover the underside... It would have been more professional looking than tape and not harder.

Just a good tip. When getting the corners. I like to use button thread doubled, make a gathering stitch in the fabric of the corners, and ease in those gathers. You will have no extra bull to staple and makes a beautiful, smooth corner. ❤️

Nice video. FYI, the cotton material used on top of the cushion just below the cover is called "batting" not "batton".

Why not fold the fabric under and staple it, just like the original green fabric? It's much cleaner looking and not hard to do.

Didn't see end of video before I commented. You do not use tape on the underside of the seat. The extreme material is trimmed off.

First..you forgot to glue the piece of foam on the board..second..is important to glue the dacron and foam together..the finish of the seat cushion doesn't look good..Also black cambric material. Underneath of the seat cushion looks more professional
