Superrr. I saw a Balance catamaran in Richardsbay and was immediately in love with the lines. I ‘ve been sailing smaller cats like Tornados, A-cat and Nacras. I own two Wharrams now: one in Richardsbay and one in the Netherlands where I live. They learned me more about design and construction, seaworthyness and single-handed handling than I had from all the years before.
Congrats Phil and all at Balance. Glad to hear about a forward cockpit. I assume you're not planning those for boats smaller than the 750. Also I notice no helm at the forward cockpit. I really like the idea of Chris Whites boat's with a forward helm and inside helm for bad weather. I think those are a great solution.
Get over yourself man. The history and culture of South Africa has a lot to do with why the vessels are built there and how they are able to achieve that quality. Supporting and celebrating that is important in a company like Balance.

your doing it right all the way around it seems
When I drive home on Las Olas And see the orange Balance catamaran, I think to myself one day……
Keep saving. You'll have one soon!
I want one
You should go shaft drive !!
You lost me at the diversity shoe-licking rant... sorry. That was so not genuine and artificial. And what has that to do with the boats...

Michael is right. Balance is very much a South Africa story, not a US shoe-licking one.
phil would you be prepared to half your profit so the labourers get paid more?
didn’t think so.
