Absolutely fantastic boat. I really appreciate, that Privilege put so much focus on safety onboard, and the raised helm position, solid steel railings all around and also those dual anchors are all great examples on that. Unfortunately, this is, where most boat manufacturers chose to cut corners.

Such a beautiful boat the 510 and the way they are being set up for long term live aboard is just stunning I know if i were to order one it wouldnt be through our agent in Aussie it would be through Rob as just to much knowledge.
Rob the 580 can it also be set up with the full beam master as a 510 ??

Sorry, the full beam master is not available on the 580.

Full beam master on 510 has a bit low ceiling. 580 wouldn’t be still high enough. Only 650 is big enough to have it. Current 580’s masters are actually pretty good.

Have you had any Privilege installed with Integrel Solutions, or is that not an option for replacing the generator(s) ?

Interesting how the helm is always touted as the best, and while it’s a great helm I still think most with a raised helm will eventually have a versa helm style. I would very much prefer the be lower and more protected for longer cruises and not need to put up the extra protection.

here is the new EQUIPPED FOR CIRCUMNAVIGATION price:
2,332,600 EUROS + a couple of surcharges and you are already at 2.5M + tax and the price of this catamaran breaks through 3M euros. Even the former owner of Sailing Mana writes that he needs a strong wind to have a speed of 6-10kn

You apparently can make that conversion already on your own and it will cost you a mere 200k US Dollars. An American couple already did, though not from a Privilege, but a Voyage 440, that had been hurricane damaged, not submerged, but with a completely devastated rigging. So, they also got the catamaran hull cheaply too. Look up Wildly Intrepid Sailing and interview with Indigo Lady (names of two sailing channels, apparently). You could do that with any boat really. Windelo is the closest to offer that already. Windelo 50 and 54 both offer fully integrated hybrid drive and a sail plan. Privilege is also my dream yacht for so many other reasons, but they also will have to go down this road, to accommodate customer demands. Windelo comes with so much solar and electric engines, that also acts as hydro generators, that no additional power source is required in most conditions, but they also have gensets installed for backup. No diesel engines.

Sigh,Bring the Privilege 37, a catamaran that the majority of sailors can actually afford to purchase. Your current array of Cats can only be by the very wealthy.

Too heavy. Poor toward visibility from saloon. Why doesn't privilege make performance yacht. Something that can sail fast in light breezes. This boat is a motor boat.

This 510 is just a make-up of the old 5 series with an inflated price (this applies to max 1.5 maximally equipped). But 2.3M eur + a few extras + tax at least 19-27% EU and you have exceeded 3M eur 🤦. Hey, 3 million euros. For a new car/boat, 24% is lost in the first year !!! so after 3-5 years you lose up to 60% of the new value. There is one 510 for sale ,launched on December 2020 and is being sold as if it had been produced in 2021. The price is 1.55M eur + tax 😂and there are no buyers in line. So who is naive to believe that you are paying 250% more for parts and labor if these are skin-baring prices. Check out the aluminium cat Portofino 47 or 52 (price for full eq 52 model with platform 1.5M $) that is a spaceship...

You had me drooling until you mentioned the safety package. The life raft shown is a particularly poor raft. Anyone doing proper research would know that square life rafts are to be avoided. If you want to know more just research the 98’ Hobart race.
I’m surprised that a quality boat built for ocean sailing would package such a poor choice of raft. There are so many better options out there.
