- It took 75 years and it’s a little different than I envisioned. Now on my birthday I get to fulfill my dream playing “Centerfield” in centerfield with my kids on the team. A home run! Hopefully it won't be long until we are able to have baseball back. Until then... “Put me in coach, I'm ready to play!” ⚾️🏟 #fogertysfactory

Yeah, he saw to it that they all became musicians so they would. LOL!!! Kidding aside, I truly believe that they wanted to do music because of him, they admire him that much. It shows you that even though he was and is on the road a lot, he still knew what came first and that, of course, is his family, not like some other musicians I won’t mention (“COUGH, Mick Jagger, Garth Brooks, COUGH, COUGH)

I just saw him last night in concert with his 2 boys and it was so awesome. He obviously loves playing with his sons and they are very talented. Tyler even sang on Good Golly Miss Molly and did great.

What makes John Fogerty special is not just his music, it's his ability to let go of the past and it's painful memories and enjoy the best part of his life with his wonderful family and loyal fans who will always remember Suzie Q and Born On The Bayou. Funny thing with that lawsuit is that it shows how irrelevant the others in CCR actually were, when John gets sued for sounding too much like a CCR song on a solo album😂

Centerfield has always been one of my favorites of yours. That opening guitar riff has to be one of the most recognizable in rock.
Every time I hear this song I think of the way it almost always made me speed in my car when it came on. I remember listening to it in my 1990 Acura Legend with Bose speakers. I would turn that sumbitch up almost as loud as it would go. One time, I was on the highway when it came on and I floored the gas and got it up to a top speed of 127 mph. Fastest I’ve ever gone, and it was to your music.
I’ll never forget it. And it was all while listening to those crystal clear guitars on those distortion free Bose speakers. Ahhh life!! Your music enhances life. So many memories when I hear your music. Thank you!
