You are definitely a hero! Showing us the utter glamous life of a motorcycle vloger😅! Every bikers favourite riding conditions, rain, muddy roads, wet grass, I bet Honda were as pissd off with it, as you lot were pissd through 😓! Seriously Kate, well done for keeping going. Oh yeah, the e-clutch seems very interesting.
Kate, The ride did not look like fun, but you certainly made the best of it. I love your stream of conscious narration and, of course, your lovely British accent. I hope you keep sharing your rides with us.
Kate the summer you were pining for was in new zealand this winter just gone... generally sunny, nice and warm for the time of year... so thanks sooooo much for your summer donation....grin. Love the bike, tho, wish i had waited a year to get my e-clutch version...
It looks the best of these e-clutch bikes, as it shows in the mud the leaver helps with slippery conditions, and in town where a clutch can be a pain you can use it without the leaver, all the other manufacturers are making it without the leaver, so a test on one of those would be interesting as you have this knowledge Kate.
Those pastries were really worth it, after riding in that appalling weather. I literally had to pause the video and go get some cookies, my mouth was watering 😂🤤🤤🤤 Flowy forest roads are the best 😎
I'm gonna watch ur videos regardless of what ur doing. Reviewing, camping, building a model with Mike, getting coffee. Doesn't matter. I like it all. But I think from now on, I'm gonna be slightly disappointed if you don't end ur videos with a little song. That made my day.
I love my microwave and air fryer ...But am not going to be telling my mates down the pub with a huge grin.....Will stick to the normal clutch and quick shifter......But to your vid 🤔 How mad are you in that weather 👏👌🥃🏴
I think it's raining in every one of your videos that I've seen...except the one where your father was trying the Norton. It's been the same weather here in France for....a year!
I grew up in Sussex riding most of my teen years in the Brighton, Haywards Heath, Petworth triangle, so I was chuffed to see some of the places I know. You brought back some good memories, thx. Such a bum Sussex dindn't wanna show it's beautiful self from it's sunny side... but, you made a good job out of it and an interesting video 👍.
Goodwood festival of raincoats and umbrellas😊🌧🌩. When those bixe were registered in Spain I bet they thought they were set for life, Nope a holiday in England for them first😂
Moaning about our beautiful southern English weather, I thought you lot from the grim north where it rains every day were tough and robust. Anyway a good review, I can see the benefits of an E-Clutch. Yeah, OK, it was a tad damp. Keep 'em coming always enjoyable.
Great vlog Kate , driven through Petworth etc many times before the m25 was built 🤪 Summer riding oh the joys of forgetting you waterproof over suit gloves , boots as well🤪🤪😂😂 .
It's days like that when you wish modern day bikes had decent mudguards fitted anyway you'll soon be going back north for some decent weather. Personally i like DCT and think this e-clutch will be a game changer, would like to see what it's like on some more run of the mill models.
Great review Kate, Biblical weather!!! Who does a launch in the Uk summer??? . I do see a potential challenge laid down to Teapot, Chopsy, & TMF to do a little singing sign off at the end like!!!!
Too much rain and Kate looked so comfortable giving in to it. Cute in the big cap too. Was Deimante the only rider that used her legs as outriggers on the slippery section? Sure hope no one ended up with pneumonia. Take care 'n hunt for some sunshine Kate.
Not all of it... I was in the UK the whole of August and only had one day of rain! But got wet regulary despite that, due to sweating in that heatwave. Lucky me I suppose.
Of course we had Summer... it all came in August while I was there. I had just 1 day of rain, and boy did it rain! And it came on the one day I could not change my itinery... That was the Sat. of the Bank Hol weekend. There was actully more beautiful summer days than you think. As proof, look through your back catalogue of uploads since May.
Before I left the country, I did virtually all my teenage riding in Sussex, so I was thrilled at seeing several places that I remembered both in Parts 1 and 2, especially round Petworth way, where my brio lives. As far as the clutch /no clutch is concerned, I wanna keep riding as near to what it's always been. Manual gear and clutch changing. So, it's defo nothing i'll ever be spending money on. Yep, pity my home county didn't show itself from it's sunny side, but despite the rain, you managed to get a good video out. Thx 4 the fab ending... I'm up for getting you on the next BGT, will ya help me Mike😊?
You're a tough lady, Kate. And you're all healthy now, so that's great. (Hondas like Ferraris should be Red.) Cheers from the Pacific West Coast of Canada.
I'm not sure how I feel about the E-clutch. On one hand it's great for riders with either weaker hands, or a disability that prevents them from using a "normal" clutch. On the other hand, it's one less thing keeping the rider engaged with what they're doing, and could potentially lead to them being more easily distracted, and possibly increasing their risk of an accident cause they zone out. You might hate that you're heading into winter, but I love it cause it means we're headed into summer here in Australia. Maybe you could organise yourself a working holiday, and come check out Australia by bike? Stay safe in that horrible liquid sunshine, and it's also good to hear you're well enough to get back on a bike again. Keep you're head on a swivel, keep it shiny side up, and keep up the good reviews. 🤘
@@UsernameKate It would be my first bike, so what do you think of it as a first bike? How is the riding position for longer trips? Is the power manageable for a beginner (in Canada we don’t have to restrict the bike). Thanks a lot
Had mine nearly 2 weeks now after the delays. So far I'm extremely impressed with it. The one.. not issue but.. limitation? Is like you say trying to set off with a lot of steering lock on. Otherwise it's pretty much flawless and I can ride further than 50 miles again. :)
It made the channel tunnel crossing easier with holding documents for sure! Haha, I left that in as an experiment to see who watches til the end. Thanks for being there!
That constant switching from day to night dash illumination would do my head in. Also, with the unit sticking so far out, it's surely prone to new rider (dropper) damage. You did well to remain neutral in the summing up so as to not get a black mark from Honda. 😉👍

Yep first thing I thought, if you drop the bike on that side the cost of that unit would probably write the bike off.
That weather look atrocious 😢 After your last vid I was chatting to a friend who does a lot of city riding and currently rides an AT DCT. They are quite excited about the e-clutch and after chatting I can see why. Like I said in my last comment, I really hope manual bikes don’t disappear but I can see a place for this tech.
Hey Kate how are you doing today looking forward to seeing you riding this soon wearing your biker gear and your world famous swanky helmet and dark visor ride safe lovely only one username Kate 😂
Sounds like it needs a Positive Neutral Finder like Kawasaki transmissions have. And I'm American, so I still don't know when "half five" is. Is it 2:30 (2.5)?
I would like to see you partner with someone who can get some shots of you riding the bike showing how you are positioned on the bike and how the bike looks as you ride it. Nobody is doing this and so your videos would really stand out. I am particularly interested in seeing you ride the CBR650R down the road so I can see you on it from all angles. Close and distant shots. I have subscribed and will be watching.
Blimey Kate, it's no wonder you ended up ill :( shocking weather. I didn't realise the 650R had proper clip ons, it's almost a proper sportsbike! I think both versions of this platform offer great value for money and I'd choose them over the GS8 Suzuki range or the new Triumph "Daytona but not really" 675.
On your way to Petworth, you missed the gate to Petworth park, I sore you pass it, in video. It is free but not advertised, looks locked but not so, it is special, I took my parents there and sore true love between them, by the lake on a seat looking at Petworth house.
I tried them. I loved them. I wouldn't pay the higher price for it. I had a CBR650R (2023) and i payed about 13K (In Norway, in our currency). I loved that bike (got hit by a car and totaled the bike. I was perfectly fine) The new E-Clutch 2024 version however is 15K (In Norway, in our currency). I wouldn't in any way say it's worth the extra money. You get half an automatic for the full price of one. If i got the full DCT system, i might consider it an ok deal. But for a "prototype", half a DCT system. No.
I’m looking at this like you can scream around on your sport bike banging gears, wringing its neck, screaming down roads but then it can settle down and make run of the mill riding and filtering much less stressful. It’s a sound idea, in theory.
@@UsernameKate I did the Wirral Egg Run. On my 125 it was no problem. I could hold the clutch for hours. 15 minutes in on my 500 and I’m a master at finding neutral in short order!!
After so many years riding the traditional way of clutch-throttle-gear changing, I can't see me wanting to spend money on a bike with no "proper clutch". I need to know that i'm the one conducting the orchestra and not a bolt-on "something". But hey-ho.., whatever rocks ya boat !
I did some heavy narrow lane filtering on this on the motorway yesterday coming home from the channel tunnel. Not needed to pull the clutch in on the 5 hour journey was blissful :)
Christ another washout ride, its depressing this weather, i bet your so pissed off, one of the downsides of being a motorcycle vlogger, you need a medal and a dry suit.😅
Staying positive in that weather! Well done 😳

not having to keep pulling on the clutch has to be better for the rider and bike over years of ownership . the vocal at the end was enchanting .
