Just picked up my Honda transalp A week ago looking forward to doing a Scottish or Welsh trip next year.

I laugh at your comments about rain in Scotland when England gets far more flooding than Scotland. Just look at the massive floods going on in England for the last week.

Mr. Fish! I'm planning to upgrade my bike from Crf Rally. How do u feel about your NX500? Do u think you'll upgrade to another in the next year/s? I'm thinking about Aprilia Tuareg 660 but I love Honda so I'll look for transalp but if you feel like the NX500 Is more than enough then I'll buy the NX for my next bike. 😄

Even the main roads in Scotland are scenic...sorry you got so wet...west coast is drier lol...if you think they were mountains wait till you get to Glencoe!. I got my little CBR 250 over the Cairngorms...woznt sure she woz gonna make it to the too but she did lol

We went over that same pass in our camper a week later on beautiful sunshine & even stopped in the same layby for pictures. We were heading from forfar to Moray Firth. Absolutely love Scotland. Done it many times on bikes. Next year I'm taking the bike again. We also stopped at Glenlivet.🐟✊🏻

That's my back yard! Loving that you enjoy Scotland, listening to your commentary makes me think I take it for granted a little, I'll appreciate what I have a little more after that. That section of the 93 from Blairgowrie to Ballater is a regular weekend run. Lots more bonny roads around here though. Great vid, great job.

👍 love it , I used to drive (car ) to Glenshee A93 , most winter weekends in the early 1980's to go skiing 😁 , cracking road . Also ridden it many times , my perfect highland bike was the Yamaha TDM900 , 85hp, not too heavy , tall roader. Living in Suffolk now and have to get back home occasionally for the scenery and roads.

All that roads are within a 2 hour ride for me, so because its local i think its nothing special. Lol. Seen much better on my Europe tours.
There are great roads anywhere near mountain ms to be fair lol

I loved that route, it the one we did for the Clan ride, stunning views mate. The roads encourage the bikes to push on. I live a lot closer to them than you and have not really ridden up there. Loved the video. 👍🏻👍🏻

What a massive change selecting the correct music makes. The "I wish I was there myself" feeling kicks in. The more I watch it, the more I enjoy it, EP1 was good, but every next is getting better and better. Good Stuff!!!
Hi being fairly local to Scotland (cumbria) Scotland and our area never gets old.....🙂 as a long time pondering on cb500x aka nx500 I've finally got that motor albeit in a voge DS525x....and wow what a bike this is for the value👌👌👌 I'm impressed that your comfy on that NX being big lad....ps recommend you try Orkney and Shetland....all the best...

Great scenery up there and amazing roads,as for highest in the uk I was told great Dunn fell road upto the radar static was over 800 metres,sure was high last time I visited
I’ve been told that’s not passable for motors it’s cyclists only as it’s restricted access only

I noticed in your last post you rode right past my house as I live in Carsie lol. I'm lucky to have the snow roads right on my doorstep and they're great on the bikes. If you're ever up this way again, give me a shout I could show you some of the other wee roads around here that are quite fun. Wee technical twist roads are the order of the day up here. Have fun and ride safe.

Wanlockhead? Been there, highest village in Scotland. Did your route on my RT1200 twenty years ago, snowing in the cairngorms, bloody freezing, heated seats and socks were essential! Thanks for the vid, love from leeds x
