Nice to see folk dabling with roads outside the NC500. You came through the village I live in, Nethybridge. The road from Braemar to Glenshee ski centre is one of my favourite stretches to be naughty on. Often nip up there for a coffee. See Dulsie bridge? I’ve jumped off that 😆 Great vid, cheers for sharing.
Great video, it’s lovely to hear your reaction to being in Scotland for the first time. But now you have been the magnetic attraction will bring you back time and time again. Bruce, me ans the clan were on those roads in August around Glanshee up to Tomitool etc, amazing roads probably the best in the UK. My only problem was having to blur my speedo in my TH-cam episode, at least in the little Honda and with no Bruce up your ass the speedo stayed nice and clear to read! Cheers.
So happy you explored the B976 it is the perfect introduction to highland single track roads .. Yes the views are breath taking hahaha .. Yow know your on the good roads when you pass through snow gates.. I did it in the golden hour and with snow on the summits. On my Braemar to Tomintoul NC 500 vlogs . Made me cry . we are less than dots on this landscape. 👌🏻👍🏻💯🎬📽📸
What a massive change selecting the correct music makes. The "I wish I was there myself" feeling kicks in. The more I watch it, the more I enjoy it, EP1 was good, but every next is getting better and better. Good Stuff!!!
After being stuck in London this week working, this has given me a nice slice of home. Cheers mate and glad you liked it 👍, next time I’ll make sure I’m home and I’ll join you
That's my back yard! Loving that you enjoy Scotland, listening to your commentary makes me think I take it for granted a little, I'll appreciate what I have a little more after that. That section of the 93 from Blairgowrie to Ballater is a regular weekend run. Lots more bonny roads around here though. Great vid, great job.
Great scenery up there and amazing roads,as for highest in the uk I was told great Dunn fell road upto the radar static was over 800 metres, sure was high last time I visited
I'm an American in the (American) midwest...made my first trip to Scotland last year. Made it up to the highlands too. This video brings back memories.
I loved that route, it the one we did for the Clan ride, stunning views mate. The roads encourage the bikes to push on. I live a lot closer to them than you and have not really ridden up there. Loved the video. 👍🏻👍🏻
Was on NC500 last month, 5th/24th Sept. Weather abominable but highlands majestic. Camping was interesting!! Will go back! People adorable. (2 bikes, 2 ladies, a Transalp and an Er6N)
Absolutely loving this series Mr Fish. Been to Scotland several times and just making me want to do it again, ummmm I’ve got 3 days holiday left 🤔. You’re doing it the right way, taking it easy, soaking it in . Great stuff. 👍🏻
I noticed in your last post you rode right past my house as I live in Carsie lol. I'm lucky to have the snow roads right on my doorstep and they're great on the bikes. If you're ever up this way again, give me a shout I could show you some of the other wee roads around here that are quite fun. Wee technical twist roads are the order of the day up here. Have fun and ride safe.
We went over that same pass in our camper a week later on beautiful sunshine & even stopped in the same layby for pictures. We were heading from forfar to Moray Firth. Absolutely love Scotland. Done it many times on bikes. Next year I'm taking the bike again. We also stopped at Glenlivet.🐟✊🏻
First came across your channel when I was researching the CL500, which I did go on to buy. Absolutely loving these videos of your trip to Scotland. Perhaps I'll have to get an NX500 next year!
Great journey Mr Fish, brilliant route avoiding the A9, glad to see the Struie is still open, last crossed there on my DT 175 around ‘97. Wait till you see the west coast, best is yet to come !
👍 love it , I used to drive (car ) to Glenshee A93 , most winter weekends in the early 1980's to go skiing 😁 , cracking road . Also ridden it many times , my perfect highland bike was the Yamaha TDM900 , 85hp, not too heavy , tall roader. Living in Suffolk now and have to get back home occasionally for the scenery and roads.
Wanlockhead? Been there, highest village in Scotland. Did your route on my RT1200 twenty years ago, snowing in the cairngorms, bloody freezing, heated seats and socks were essential! Thanks for the vid, love from leeds x
Awe man a hope you get a couple day sun buddy ,I feel ma country is letting you down but hey you can hear in your voice your still enjoying it superb 🏴💙
Turning into quite an adventure... you even stood up on the pegs... must be an adventure! 😀 That weather though... def need good kit when it turns, how did your fair?

Mr. Fish! I'm planning to upgrade my bike from Crf Rally. How do u feel about your NX500? Do u think you'll upgrade to another in the next year/s? I'm thinking about Aprilia Tuareg 660 but I love Honda so I'll look for transalp but if you feel like the NX500 Is more than enough then I'll buy the NX for my next bike. 😄
Fantastic video mate . I’m voting Mr Fish for poet Laureate for this year lmao 😂. The bike is doing great 👍. Looking forward to the next episode . 🏍️🏍️👍👍👌🤣🤣
I laugh at your comments about rain in Scotland when England gets far more flooding than Scotland. Just look at the massive floods going on in England for the last week. People that live in glass houses ........
Finally got the chance to start back on this trip of yours big man & still loving your enthusiasm & even while riding in the proper wet stuff! 😎❤️👍
Ha ha , privileged to be riding

Thanks
Great scenery up there and amazing roads,as for highest in the uk I was told great Dunn fell road upto the radar static was over 800 metres, sure was high last time I visited
I’ve been told that’s not passable for motors it’s cyclists only as it’s restricted access only
@@Mrfish2015 ah maybe it is now, it was a few years ago now me and two friends went up on our motorbikes, loving the series keep up the good work

The Cairngorms ❤ Defo one of the best riding roads in the country. Shame about the weather. Fabulous when sunny
