normally done on every second service which is 20000 kms or 2 years
chocked filter can create problems like , pickup drop and false missing action due to restricted fuel flow.

My 2009 safari dicor seems to be leaking air or vacum on the left side of the engine(passenger side)and it hesitates while accelerating. Any advise will be helpful.
Finding the source of vaccume leak can be very difficult
You have to carefully observe each of the hoze
Check the linea to 2 actuators situated on left of engine
M also having the same problem bt it happens only in running period pls help me
Whether that Black Squizing pump is supposed to be tight all the time or it gets loose as the time passes

Bhai ji mere pass 2.2 dicore engine vali sumo grande hai .usmy do fillter hai ek 3pipe vala or ek 2pipe vala ek shaath ekhethy hai dono. to konsa kyaa hai or kab change kerna hai konsa .

Filter 40-45k kms ke aas paas change hota hai and sedimentor jab tak jaroorat na pade

Sir kar hi do , waise to sedimentor and filter totally depends upon the quality of fuel you are getting from the fuel stations , sedimentor ki agar light nahi aa rahi hai cluster me , to need nahi hai use change karne ki use bus drain karne ki need hai

Acc. To you location of filter is right by the diesel tank ? If yes then its diesel sedimentor
And the work of sensor is to tell you that diesel have more contaminants than the allowed tolerance , contamination in terms of water moisture , if you had already got the sensor changed then please
Drain the sedimentor and *change you fuel filling station*

If one out of 2 fails you won't be able to start your car

A high pressure fuel pump is in the engine bay
And low pressure fuel delivery pump is in the tank

Sir thats a low level pipe cleaning system by disconnecting the tank pump , its much better to use a cleaner with diesel fuel itself

Sir its about lesser flow of fuel in one injector , so you can use a diesel system cleaner along with diesel that will definitely help

Sir egr cooler , egr valve , intercooler and MAF sensor needs to be cleaned . It will be perfect again .
And if possible run a diesel system cleaner along with diesel , it will clear off any deposits or gum buildup in the injectors.

Bro, I am facing an issue recently. My safari Dicor starts on for the first time, but immediately gets turned off. How much ever cranking doesn't help. Out of just trial and error, i just pumped the fuel filter pump a few times till I felt enough diesel was in the filter and the vehicle started magically again. This is happening everytime I start now.
Let me say that i changed the fuel filter a month ago. The vehicle was cranking up well the first time around. Only since last one week i am facing this issue.
Can you help me understand what could be happening? Thanks

One more observation, in ADDITION to above - When the engine starts for first time (say overnight or few hours of gap) and i press the accelerator down and rev up the engine...it doesn't stop...but if i start the engine without revving (idling)....it stops..and the only way it will start is as mentioned above (by pumping the fuel filter pump)
Sir there is a check valve inbuilt in the fuel delivery system , if its not keeping the lines full even when the system is off then fuel will slowly seep back into the tank and air will enter the system , which is pushed out when you pump the fuel hand pump.
@@yourDIYneeds thank you. All the symptoms point to exactly what you are describing. Do you suspect this valve may have become faulty? And how can I check it? Can you please give me an idea of what else you might want me to check? (other components of the fuel system i can check.)

As all the engine oil will seep down into bottom and it will take around 10-12 second to circulate again once you start it
So wo 10-12 seconds sabse jada dangerous honge
Baki agar 3-4 din me ek baar bhi around 5 mins ke lie start kar denge to bhi koi problem nahi

And just for your information safari dicor which were manufactured before 2010 have a diesel fuel filter with one inlet and 1 outlet so total 2 connections and after 2010 models use a filter with 3 connections .
And i know there is a diesel sediment filter with a conductive sensor at its bottom so that it can put up a light whenever your vehicle is fueled with diesel which a more of water content in it and it is located just beside the fuel tank with 2 bolts .
