Lucia! Mario Lanza is one of my favorite tenors of all time! You really should listen to Alfie Boe as Jean Valjean in Les Miserables! He has the same kind of voice that would fill a room, even when he is doing a high pianissimo! I am at work right now, so I can't listen. But, I am so glad to see you back on TH-cam! Much love. Susan
Hi, my dear friend Susan!😊 Thanks to your lovely comments. Les Miserables! Your comment reminds me Cosette's songs which I love a lot. (Many people prefer other characters' songs more, but I prefer Cosette's songs most in Les Miserables :D) I gonna listen 'I saw him once' sung by Rebecca Caine again. Dear Susan, which song do you love most in Les Miserables?
@@fanoftheopera95 Hmmm. When I was younger, I would have said On My Own. I was in a similar situation. Someone who I loved dearly was in love with someone else, and they were going through a difficult break up. I was his confidante. I prayed that if it was God's will that they be together, I wanted God's will to be done, NOT mine. ...He never was my soulmate. My husband is. But, I didn't know it at the time. I still greatly admire him. He goes beyond Christian to embrace Christlike. He has a wife and kids. I hope they have something special planned for Mother's Day today... Now that I am older, I think I relate the most to Valjean. I have done things that I regret. Like everyone, I am a sinner in need of God's grace. And, I am haunted by some of the lyrics of Bring Him Home. "And I am old, and will be gone."
@@fanoftheopera95 I love you, too, Lucia! Oh! I wanted to ask you. You remind me of Mr. Miyagi. Your level of wisdom is similar. Are you familiar with the Karate Kid franchise? They are going to release the next season of Cobra Kai in September. Can I call you Lucia Miyagi?
Wow! Talk about a Point of No Return moment! At least, Emmy Christine and Gerik! It was different in the stage show, at least when I saw it! ...Hmmm. Personally, Mario Lanza and Dorothy Kirsten would be my dream cast! The two of them would have blended beautifully! Wow!
