Always good content, I been watching you for over a year now and I have to admit you helped me transition my sense of style you helped me be confident and. comfortable with style as a 4o year old, Salute!!!!!
The Style OG is one of my go-to channels, always good content. If you like this, also check out 40overfashion and Courtney Ryan, they are also very good. They are my top 3
You cannot go wrong with a Peacoat in the winter. The Bay Area winters are unpredictable so I always keep one in the trunk. All the styles you presented were hella dope! Salutes and appreciations O.G.
Great picks, O.G.! Just coped a Navy Peacoat from J.Crew, and I'm loving it. I have always been fascinated by the military's historic influence in day-to-day fashion. #salute.
Excellent Jeff, I’d always turned my nose up at double-breasted coats, but this last couple of years I’ve added a few to my wardrobe... you are completely correct, they really add additional style to the coat offerings...keep up the good work, keep well
Jeff... Your channel has upgraded my wardrobe completely. I wonder though can you build a wardrobe of "hero pieces"? I was stuck in mid to late 90s to 2000s style.
I feel you brother. Picked up 2 checked overcoats online before the UK lockdown finished this past Wednesday. Try wear it for a casual outing going out to London or any other UK city, or even looking suave to the library while we're free for now 😎
Next time you decide to take your girl out to dinner throw it on with a nice pair of jeans and sweater.... You can wear shoes, sneakers, even a nice pair of boots and look it will look really nice
Honestly, for work I've bought 3 of these blue fire resistant jackets rated for my cold Canada winters working outside. Good below minus 40 degrees celsius, they come in at $400cdn each. They aren't stylish but they're the only winter jacket I'll ever need again! 🇨🇦☃️🔥
I recently picked up a dark brown Wrangler winter jacket and it looks great with jeans! I love the fit, especially the way the hood fits, It has a fleece lining, the outside is soft and the dark brown color looks amazing. For an inexpensive jacket it is very well made!
Yes sir! I own all the coats you spoke of except a Parka ( we don't really need them here in Dallas-Fort Worth). I am a sailor so of course I own a pea coat😁. I would say my red duffle coat and full length Cobalt blue military double breasted trench coat are my favorites. Thank you good Sir for this on time video...
Great minds think alike. I am lucky enough to have all these Winter Coats except the Toggle Coat. (2 parka's, 2 top coats & 2 leather jackets). Enjoy your weekend.
I have some really great winter coats. I live in Virginia, so I get to wear them once or twice every winter, considering winter only lasts about a week here.
I have an overcoat, pea coat, trench coat and a double breasted camel over coat very similar to yours. My next coat, and one that I would add to the list is a bridge coat, preferably in navy or black.
Although it doesn’t always stay cold in south Louisiana, I have a parka in my closet. But I definitely have been looking for a nice peacoat to rock in the winter especially when I’m dressed up. Another great video OG
I got my peacoat and two of my trench coats that were issued 30 yrs ago. My other trench coat was issued when I went back in 11 yes ago, so I have 3 different branches of them.
Good stuff Jeff, thanks for allowing myself not to feel guilty about having a bunch of winter coats, I live in DC so we get the same climate so you can never have enough coats, I have 5 of the 7, don’t have an overcoat but do have a 3/4 length trench I use as an overcoat, nice vid.
Jeff, your overcoat is a short trench coat which is referred to as a Car Coat. Your right about the frequency of wear. It is my number one go to coat before my Pea coat. The car coat, which is a short trench coat was designed obviously for it's name to ease entering and exiting your car.
I bought all your suggestions..., already had the trench coat..., but I finally bought the navy (non-double-breasted) peacoat and the silver Hilfiger puffer jacket..., looking for that old school duffle coat. Thanks!
@@simcptmike I disagree. I believe that you can fake it till you make it. Theyre are shirts ive bought at walmart, sweaters I ordered from Amazon that I was complimented on because I wore them well.
You need some fur in your life! A nice wool overcoat with mink or sheared beaver collar, with a matching fur hat would be a great addition to your winter wardrobe.
Hi O.G. Great Video !! Loved all your Picks !! My Favorite was The Double Breasted I need all of them in The North East during The Winter !! SALUTE ...
You keep a lot of female subscribers, because a lot of your style videos apply to us too. We have a lot of the same style coats to choose from. I just bought two Parkas in different colors, a NorthFace and a Columbia. I already had two pea coats, a long navy and a mid-length black from GAP and Lands End. Those two styles satisfy my style no matter what I wear during the winter. I prefer a scarf with the pea coats though, because the neck is exposed. Great video, I really enjoyed this one, because I did some winter shopping recently. Before that, I was rocking coats with a broken zipper, and one where a button fell off and a hole in the pocket. It was about time I went shopping. I think I'm good for the next several years now. God bless.
38 year old here who just found and enjoy your series I'm from the PNW, get warmer, wetter winters, typically don't get much below freezing weather, but often a light rain. Think you could put together a jacket guide for this climate, if that's in your wheelhouse?
What’s up my bro Og. It now cold in Florida and I am loving it and getting to wear my winter coat that you help me choose. Thanks for the advice my G . Salute my friend.
You got that Johnny Sac coat 🧥 looking good 🙌🏽 i love coats, I got to have different colours in different styles so I can wear a t shirt in any weather and the coat takes care of the rest. Big north face or stone island casual coats, smart cashmere or wool coats, a Aquascutum duffle coat, a Barbour jacket etc never wear the same coat or shoes two days running
Jeff, we recently got a new closet and I was looking through my coats trying to decide what I should get living here in Colorado. I like your choices and I do have a couple of them, I'm still trying to decide if I should get the duffel coat though. Thanks for the Ideas, saaaalute!
A sensational video like always O.G. SALUTE! one of my favorite is the overcoat in navy, black, and camel, and it is a great look especially if it is tailored. The Peacoat is another one, can't go wrong with a peacoat. Quick story O.G. my neighbor always taught I was involved in organizing crime just because of the way I dress lol, and winter came along and they see me with my coats on fuggedaboutit! ...anyway, my other neighbor was the one who told me they were going around spreading this rumor lool...all because of the way I dress plus my New York accent doesn't help either lol.
IMHO It has its place. It's very common to see people with Eagles gear here. I would keep it for informal days. Weekend trips to the grocery store. If you're going to a sports bar. And of course if you're headed to a game. I would also give greater latitude if your team is headed to the playoffs or championship and you want to show your support. Generally I would avoid wearing sports logos to the office, business casual settings, or other places wear you want to show a little more style. Just my two cents.
I live in Upstate NY. It’s cold and winter seems to last forever. I’ve got: 1. A peacoat 2. A light puffer jacket for those 30-40 degree days. 3. A parka 4. A ski jacket 5. A Carhartt. I don’t know what these are considered. To me it’s a “big ass jacket”.
I actually like winter fashion better... to me thats when you can show your creativity
Absolutely
It's cuz you get to layer and wear what you want without sweating profusely.
I love fall/winter fashion.

The duffle and peacoat are definitely must haves!appreciate the vid very helpful
Yea I'm moa def getting a pea coat since I'm getting my grown man on
Jeff... Your channel has upgraded my wardrobe completely. I wonder though can you build a wardrobe of "hero pieces"? I was stuck in mid to late 90s to 2000s style.
As usual you’ve come thru for me. I’m in Texas where we don’t get a very cold winter. So these nice coat suggestions helps me out a lot. Thanks
Just copped a Lacoste Parka for my Old Man 50% off. Good vid!
