Harryyyyy, happy with your weekly posts. Just want to say thank you for all your vids. After dropping some pounds, I've been revamping my wardrobe. And your new (and old vids) have really helped me finding my own style. mucho mucho mucho gracias!
8:10 The polyamide (nylon) is there to reinforce the wool and mohair. It actually helps with durability. Its for this reason a lot of underlayers for example will be 70-85% wool and the rest nylon.
Woohoo, nice to see a bit of Chester Perry Company making it onto one of Harry's videos, it's arguably the absolute grand-daddy of mens designer casualwear, and definitely one of my favourite brands. The DD jacket looks awesome, with a totally unique look.
Shoutout to the Eytys Genesis coat. I bought one during the summer sales and it feels badass to wear. Very similar to the Our Legacy coat but with a bigger shoulder.
Ah I see you got the John Elliott shirt! Great pickup dude, looks great. I personally love it too. Interestingly enough I was looking at the Our Legacy Whale coat earlier today. Been on the hunt for a good overcoat for a few years and really like the look of that one.
Second to comment. Dang it! Brendan from Buffalo, is @#1 😊 Edited: excellent suggestions. I own an original North Face Black puffy jacket. Probably have had it for over 10 years. You can’t go wrong with real down filling. You will be warm. I think it looks great with jeans, straight leg, RedWing Black Iron Rangers, black or white sneakers, and Supreme Confidence , which all of your subs have 🎉
Frizm and stone island were on my wishlist for a year now 😊 Glad to see those coats here. Frizm also has fishtail 2in1 parka/coat that looks absolutely amazing and versatile same time ❤
Sometimes adding a small percentage of synthetic material to a wool garment can increase durability while preserving softness. It’s not always a bad idea.
CP Company jacket is gorgeous... MKI & Cole Buxton (new season) has some very similar puffers. Still pricey tho but not CP pricey lol Keep up the great work Harry!
I learned how to buy asian vintage and you can get absolute steals for the price, found a down filled balmain winter coat (wool coat) for the price of around 60 dollars. crazy!
When I saw the first category, I wasn't down with the jackets. I've expected Coats. But I don't want to sugarcoat my opinion of the jackets and coats shown, because I really liked them. Thanks for the video and see ya.
Could you do one about turtleneck sweaters? I’ve been looking around but most of them are light and tight to the body. Do you have any recommendation? Women’s ones look more relaxed fitted and chunkier at times
Regarding the 80/20 wool/nylon blend on the Arket coat, that's actually called "Melton wool" and is the blend used by the US Army in their peacoats, as well as by brands such as Schott NYC. It is pretty much as warm as 100% wool, but it's sturdier and deals with water better.
I own it and wouldn’t recommend it for keeping you warm. I was freezing in winter in it. I’d go for the Uniqlo one for keeping warm or the Nupste if you can stretch to that
Loving your content mate keep it up. Some very nice coats on that list which I will look to pick up. If you get a chance please do look at the M&S menswear because they have changed drastically and more modern.
Are overcoats suitable for shorter guys (I'm 5'4)? I always looked dorky whenever I tried them on when I was younger because they make me look even shorter...
Mohair is exquisite, but sadly I hate the way it feels on my skin, however the reason most brands even luxury ones go for an 80/20 blend if materials is to strengthen the wool and keep it from pilling
Sometimes the blends end up pilling anyway due to the different strengths of the fibers. When they snap, the synthetic material can curl and pill, which isn’t great.
Great video, but I'm with you on finding a high(er) percentage wool coat. It's only a Banana Republic one (from 2006) but it's 90% wool and 10% cashmere, and I thrifted it for $2.79!
The COS coat definitely sold out in a couple of days as it’s part of the limited Atelier collection. I’m not sure if they do a small restock or some returned items get put back on to the website. I think I picked up the last one on the UK website. You made some good recommendations
another great video! you always pack so much information in so little time. definitely been thinking about a black wool overcoat but not sure if it's cold enough to justify it in the San Francisco area.
I saw it and I agree it looks great. Not out till the end of the month! If it was already out I would have included it but still think the C.P. Company looks slightly cooler
Yeah lately COS has been selling out a lot of fall items. I was looking for the black knitwear polo shirt but it's gone for weeks and when restocking it, gone after a hour. Great video though, I love fall season clothings🍂
@@HarryHas are you sure? I did a bit of looking but only found kind of similar things, which is most fleece jackets. I just really love the patterning in specific.
What are your thoughts on the Canada Goose puffer coats? They are pretty expensive but I’m not sure if they’re worth the money unless they work extremely well in the bitter cold.
@HarryHas no worries, I understand! I personally don't buy them, but I can see why they are peoples go-to materials considering their uses. It just means that videos that recommend alternatives are far and few between
Appreciate the feedback and I’ll take that on board for future videos. I really should include alternatives for people who don’t want to buy products using materials from animals so will start trying to do that going forward!
Hi Harry, I just ordered my first pair of more expensive jeans wich are wrangler cowboy cuts. I think I saw you wearing them in your video about jackets. I would like to know your opinion about them
Decided to buy the bomber jacket you got from Weekday, it was on sale for $50 and I had to snag it. I imagine it will work well during winter as it seems quite warm.
Got my winter jacket sorted. Managed to score an Ace Jacket with 150 off - I know you’re after one Harry, do you know what size? As I ended up ordering two to see what size worked better, would happily pass on the saving to you if the size I have spare is yours
Hi mate. I tried the ace and loved it a lot from front on but from the side profile it stuck out at the back too much for me. I ended up sending it back. Gutted as I was hoping it would work for me
It was just the brown colourway from last year. They tend to change the colours a bit each year. If I could choose any today, I’d probably go with the plain black one. I love mine but I see a lot of people in the same colourway where I live and the black is more subtle
COS Atelier sells so fast! Cole Buxton has a new puffer very similar to CP, but it's still quite expensive. I would add "mfpen" to the list, when looking for coats. They look great and roomy.
I almost included a grey Mfpen overcoat in this video but i came to the conclusion that it was a little too roomy for me. Still a beautiful coat though

Great finds, that Sefr coat is lush!!
Thanks man! Yeah, it’s a beauty for sure. They make some really cool stuff. Have a good Sunday man
Bro, u uploaded at the same time again 😂
i do think the two of you should make one channel together as well. !!
@HarryHas @JamesLeung ...why do y'all have then exact same looking cat, y'all sharing custody or something? Haha.

Yes that’s right
Buffalo NY viewer here.... I couldn't quick fast enough. Perfect timing, I need a coat.
Hope my recommendations help out!
Same Go Bills
Winter Jacket is the hardest piece to buy for me. I want something different and looks good but it’s challenging to find
Vintage might be a good way to get what you want
Mackintosh has some great coat options! Frizmwork has been on my list for so long. Glad to see it here!
YOUR CHANNEL IS LIKE A BLESSING
🙏🙏🙏
Thank you very much for covering overcoats, as well as all the tech wear.

Thanks mate. In love with this shirt. I haven’t taken it off since I got it.
Another great option are n1 deck jackets! Wool lining and waxed cotton shell and nice cut. For me a shearling jacket will always be number one though

Yes definitely. Not everyone likes it though
Harry, the Acne Studios jacket is only worth 5-8 of your jackets. Are those jackets worth it over Acne Studios?
Great video harry mate
Nice coats & jackets too
💯👍
Thanks dude
Some brilliant coats. I notice that the Percival coat is 100% wool for the navy, and more of a mix for the brown herringbone
Ahhh that makes sense actually
CP Company jacket is gorgeous... MKI & Cole Buxton (new season) has some very similar puffers. Still pricey tho but not CP pricey lol
Keep up the great work Harry!
Thanks a lot. Yeah I did see those and they look quality too but it has to be the CP company one for me. Maybe a sale pickup at some point for me
Arket down jacket is also very good. It’s a little bit pricier than Uniqlo, but has a cooler look.
It does look cool, although I’ve heard some mixed reviews about it from previous years so I was hesitant to recommend it.
Not sure if anyone wears anymore but can I recommend the Superdry ‘Everest short hooded puffer jacket’ looks great on and ‘super’ warm 😄
You're part of my Sunday now Harry! Would love a sweatshirt and beanie video, although I'm sure you've got something good cooking already
Awesome to hear you like the videos dude. I don’t actually have a plan for those yet. Maybe I need to start making some!
I learned how to buy asian vintage and you can get absolute steals for the price, found a down filled balmain winter coat (wool coat) for the price of around 60 dollars. crazy!
The Karakoram by Frizmworks is awesome for Canadian winters.
Yeah it looks great. Looks a little bit overkill for my needs though

Glad you liked them mate
I love when Harry calls something 'delicious'
Could you do one about turtleneck sweaters? I’ve been looking around but most of them are light and tight to the body.

Hey Harry, the real question that I have is that flannel the Hemi from John Elliot, looks like it! Great video as always!
It sure is! It’s everything I was hoping for. Thanks a lot
Any thoughts on the Frizmworks Altavia Down Parka or the NN07 Matthews coat?
4:22 where are pants from? they look great
They are from Homme Plisse Issey Miyake
thoughts on the Weekday Cole puffer i personally think it looks better than uniqlos but not sure about the quality tho.
I own it and wouldn’t recommend it for keeping you warm. I was freezing in winter in it. I’d go for the Uniqlo one for keeping warm or the Nupste if you can stretch to that

just picked up the nn07 gael jacket in navy its great
As a side note, the Minesotta coat from Percival in the brown twill colorway isn’t made from wool, unfortunately. The navy one is 100% wool
Yeah, I got that wrong. Makes sense with the pattern of the brown coat
@@HarryHasTrue, the whole industry has been going downhill in terms of quality. Except maybe local brands in Germany and the UK

Bargain!
Very helpful. I have the North Face and love it. I'd like a cloth coat. I need to research one since I really don't need it. 😊
They are great for the price. Have a good Sunday!
I would like to add to the list:
- Filippa K "London Coat"
- Isabel Marant "Cohel Coat"

the upcoming mki myuki zoku down jacket looks as nice if not nicer and more minimal than the cp jacket I suggest you take a look at it harry

Commenting on every Harry Has video till he drops the workout routine 🏋🏻♀️💖💖
Hey what's the model of that north face fleece you showed? the link to it isn't working for me and I love the look of it.
I think it’s just called their pile fleece

Great video Harry!!
Thank you Chris!
The acne coat is my holy winter grail already picked up the entire studios uvr puffer
It’s a cool coat isn’t it. Great cut and length to it
On point like always my Brutha 👌

Great video Harry, just wish there were more recommendations for alternatives to wool and down

Harry, we need video about trousers!
It’s coming this week or the following
That CP Company Jacket is fire 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
🤟
I bought one last winter but have never worn it. So light and soft I'm scared a light breeze will tear it open
Harry.. The Barbour Spey SL jacket is definitely a bit of you!
Your red shirt looks great on you 👍
Thanks a lot mate. Really love this shirt!
Winter coats...my nb 1 weakness after overshirts. I had ten, I'm now down to seven.

weekday a company of H&M group ;-)

Thoughts on uniqlo hybrid down jacket?
I have an overcoat myself :)
where did you get your flannel that your wearing throughout the video, also great video keep it up.
I believe its the John Elliot Hemi Overshirt in red plaid
Yes it’s from John Eliott. I’ve linked everything in the description including the shirt 👍
You and James always upload at the same time. Hello YT Algorithm!
P. S. Great vid as always

If you prefer it then go for the parka 👍
How about the Chesterfield coat from Uniqlo and JW Anderson Harry?
It was a bit smart and short for my liking and the materials weren’t what I’m looking for in an overcoat personally
@@HarryHas Totally agree with the materials! It has a lovely cut for my liking (Ofc it’s JW) but the materials are putting me off from buying :/

honestly, I'll take an 80/20 wool poly blend overcoat over a 100% wool. Simply just much more durable in my experience
Same here🙌🏻
Harry why do you have the cadence of a robot?
Has anyone bought any of the Massimo’s coats mentioned here?
Watching this from Miami, knowing damn well I won't be able to wear winter clothes like this. PAIN.
piece of feedback, please use the metric system as well :)
Went straight to look at this coat 7:02 , but 15% nylon at that price is nasty work, idc what it’s for. Plus the lining needs to be more luxurious 1k
It’s to help with the brushed effect it has I’d imagine
❤❤❤
That nuptse jacket looks great on you
Thanks a lot
My Uniqlo, Patagonia or my classic over twenty years old Carhartt. Keeps me warm and toasty.
Honestly not a fan of puffer jackets nor long coats, I feel like there has to be other options than just those for the cold months
