Two of our favorite parts of the Galapagos Islands cruise happened today! Champion Island is loaded with adorable sea lions, and we got to swim with hundreds of them! Then on Floreana Island, we got to witness the beautiful blue-footed booby male do his mating dance ritual! We also got to visit the first ever mailbox in the Galapagos on Post Office Island which is still being used like they traditionally did in the 1800s!

Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married June 2013 and quickly caught the travel bug! We started traveling full-time January 10, 2016. How often to we get to witness such joy that leads to someone saying...."this is the greatest day of my life!". We are all lucky.....Kate & Nate have figured out the code of life...you both unlocked it and for over 6 years have been enjoying the bounty of life!!! Sail on....we need to see more!

This brings back memories of our best day in the Galápagos too! Snorkeling with the sea lions was simply spectacular... we couldn’t stop laughing. Your video of the blue footed booby dance was top notch and not easy to catch. I know because I didn’t get it, at least not that close. The sea lions seem to LOVE playing with the Monkeyfish! You guys really bring a wonderful joie de vivre to these videos. I've watched every one to this point, and I'm slowly moving through the entire series.
Nate is an awesome diver. He can hold his breath for what seems unrealistic. I am quite jealous, but happy for him.

I LOVE THIS YEAR! I thoroughly enjoy all the trips companies have gifted you. I would probably never be able to eat bugs in Thailand, but I would definitely go on your trip through the Sahara and to the Galapagos. Keep these luxury trips coming!

When people ask me what my favorite animal is, I always say sea lion! I’ve loved them since I was a kid and saw them at Sea World in Texas 😂 I felt pure joy watching this vlog ❤️❤️

Swimming with the sea lions is definitely one of the top highlights of a Galapagos trip! I had one playful pup try to steal my snorkel! One of our passengers dropped a water bottle, and a whole group of sea lions played with it for almost half an hour. It was hilarious, but we had to wait until they were tired of it so we could retrieve it.

i know i know, i am i little behind, but when watching this, something happened too good to pass up! around minute 12, when the bird made those noises, my cat went NUTS. he was walking weirdly and making this weird noise i had NEVER heard before! i don’t know you’ll see these, but wherever you are just know i am praying for you!
All I can think about is what a sense of humor God has, he created humans AND sea lions! We communicate real similar, we both like to enjoy a lazy moment or two and we both could compete in synchronized swimming and score 10 across the board. Oh and the blue footed booby how majestic is their dance and that great ‘whistle’ . They also have great fashion sense with their amazing blue ‘shoes’. Now let’s talk about the flamingos, they deserve ‘best dressed’ on this island of paradise. Since Jan/Feb is award season there are some of my nominations what are yours? Let’s not forget male/female lead in an ‘ocean’ picture Kara and Nate. Great video it is one of my favorites too. Hello from 2020. We are waiting to see the 100th country video. Your 100th country party was EPIC!!!
